Turns out I needed antibiotics and urgent care diagnosed me with an outer ear infection and only gave me ear drops, making the problem worse. A few weeks after the infection I woke up in the middle of the night with this horrible pain and ringing in my ear and I lost hearing in one ear for weeks. I went to an ent and got put on antibiotics and had to keep seeing him for a few months to get my hearing back in that ear. But there have been times when family first urgent care has been great. I would say if you're going for a standard test, like a strep test or something or if it's a Saturday or Sunday and no one else is open and you're desperate, then they're fine.

Pre-op room was super clean and clutter free. Nurses and technicians were very professional, calm, super friendly, and comforting, taking pre-procedure stress off and helping to relax. In the op room I felt the same friendly attitude before quickly falling asleep :) Post-op was very smooth and comforting as well. Special thanks to Nelsa - my pre- and post-op RN - who prepped me for the procedure. What initially attracted me to the practice was that the Red Bank office is open Saturdays, Sundays and holidays (except 2 days of the year) for sick visits. I am extremely satisfied with the care my son gets from all of the doctors. I have never felt like I shouldn't have gone in when he has been sick. I have gone in many times because of coughs, wheezing, skin rashes and was never made to feel "funny" about going so many times. My only suggestion would be to have more evening appointments. As someone who works an hour away (and has son in the area with them) it is difficult to get there before 5.
