I paid my copay for all 4 visits, but I was later charged with a $226.26 bill. I repeatedly called my insurance to have it resolved, they told me call the office (both ping-ponged me back and forth). So, I spoke to Theresa, the rotten miserable wrinkled woman at the front desk, multiple times who acted like she knew nothing, but when it came time for her to talk to an insurance rep with me she was magically very knowledgeable. Despite me trying to resolve this wrongful bill multiple ways, I received a letter I was being sued for $226.26. This abhorrent notice came while I was in the hospital everyday with my unresponsive mother on hospice due to a tragic accident, talk about added stress. I, again, went into the office and called multiple times to resolve it, but every time was told "they'll get back to me," which they never did. During one of my office visits with Michael Sherman I sat in the room waiting and I could hear him tear a staff member to shreds with unacceptable venom in his tone over something minor. This made me extremely uncomfortable as a waiting patient and should have left right then. I was also pushed into treatment I was charged for despite attempting to decline it due to my first test results coming up completely negative. There is something completely demented about Michael Sherman's personality for him to talk to his staff the way I heard and to treat patients like myself with this kind of unnecessary headache. I attempted to resolve this lawsuit on 11/11, and his lawyer kept telling me she hadn't heard back from him. This was shocking to me since his waiting room and office were consistently empty when I went there. On 11/25 I drove to office, and she told me she hadn't heard from him still. I called their office with her present and the bill was resolved immediately (thank you to my mom who passed). I never realized Doctor Michael Sherman was so desperate for $226.26. I would never recommend anyone go to this practice after my experience. My experience with Michael Sherman has shown he's an abscess to the people around him. I'd be very cautious with the fraudulent and manipulative ways this business handles themselves. I never would have had the treatments done if I knew I would owe money beyond my copay.

Especially Susie. I literally walk up to the check in counter and stand there for minutes, with no smile, greeting, or even a "I'll be right with you." You just stand there and wait, while she types a chart. And she ignores you. This has happened to me multiple times. God forbid I need to update my insurance info or have a billing question, you'll really upset her. It was better when there was a sign in sheet so I didn't have to interact with her. The nurses and other technicians are all wonderful. They are kind and caring. So, take this review of what it's worth. The front reception staff is the face of the business. They fail in that area. The other areas are good. I think I'll switch to Marlboro. If they have the same issue then I'll find another allergist. Too many businesses undervalue the idea of decent service. I'm not talking about exceeding expectations, which any business should strive to do, but rather they fail at even being mediocre in this area. If you want patients who happy and continue to frequent you r office, then you should smile once in a while and don't act like you are being bothered by helping me.

The consultation went for almost one hour And in the end they said things like He probably has .... and they think it is..... as they couldn't even look inside his mouth Its funny as they charge 500$ for consultation. Over the course of the next three and a half weeks they ran every test on my son and put us through agony worrying what was wrong with him. The feeding therapist on staff would come to our room for five minutes a day, deem he was not ready to eat, not even attempt to give him a bottle, and would leave. It was frustrating and heart breaking to see my perfectly healthy boy stuck in the hospital with no real help or therapy to address his issue. When the doctors felt they couldn't do anymore testing on him they decided he would never eat and that we needed to leave with a gtube. The gastroenterologist laughed when I suggested we leave with the NG because I felt this issue may be temporary. When I explained that I was going to see Nancy the day after we left the hospital and I had high hopes I was told that I should just go home and love my son since Nancy didn't have a magic wand. Well let me tell you how wrong they were. That first day we saw Nancy she immediately identified a posterior tongue tie and left side torticollis. She pulled out her bag of goodies and found a nipple he immediately took from. She also personally texted her inner circle and got us appointments for craniosacrial therapy for his neck and for a tongue tie revision the very next day. Over the course of the next month we worked diligently with Nancy using her tools and the nipple she had suggested. Exactly one month to the day we were released from the NICU we removed my sons tube. Had we just went home with the gtube and "loved our son" without seeing Nancy I don't even know what would have happened to him. Instead I have a happy sweet boy who is well fed and back on track. Nancy did have a magic wand and she works wonders. I am forever grateful for her.
