After reading the reviews for the various florists locally, I selected "Blooms by Marie." I called the florist and reached Marie on the phone. I wanted to be sure that an arrangement could be sent on the same day for the wake service, which would start at 4-7 p.m. and be followed by the funeral the next day. Marie asked what I was looking for, and I went onto her website and selected a tall, elegant arrangement. Marie gave me her personal cell phone number so I could share specific flowers and colors that I was considering, along with our sympathy card, because there did not appear to be enough room on the card section on her website for our full message. Marie created a beautiful, thoughtful arrangement that accurately reflected the occasion's solemnity. Marie gets top praise for attentive customer service, timely delivery, and understanding of my preferences during difficult times. Marie was willing to incorporate meaningful flowers and colors to personalize the arrangement, making it a fitting tribute to the deceased. I very much appreciated Marie's empathy and care in creating an arrangement for the wake, the church service, the reception after the burial, and the family's home after the services. And he said well "that's simply not true it's all on the website", which took me aback because I feel like this isn't how to speak to anyone? And also what about elderly people who wanted to place order but didn't know how to use the internet to check "all the options"? We went back and forth a little cause I just wanted to place an order, but he was super rude and condensing. So I asked for his name and rudely told me, why do you need it, and I told him he's being very rude. Then he proceeds to say, well when I answered the phone you were speaking a different language. I was so shocked because I barely have an accent but he concluded I wasn't even speaking English? I had to hang up because he was getting super belligerent and argumentative on the phone and I was super scared. I'm actually shaking in fear right now because I don't think I've ever had such a bad encounter over the phone. He said I was laughing at him but I was actually about to cry from how mean he was. This place makes it so hard to support small businesses. I would avoid at all costs since they don't seem to want business and are super unhelpful. I have always had good service from Janine's and my Mom is always happy when the flowers arrive. Janine's always calls before delivering the flowers to make sure someone is home to accept them. If my Mom is out-n-about, Janine's will call her to let her know that they can customize the delivery to her liking if necessary. Janine's always keeps me in the loop with what is going on with the delivery as well. Every now and then there are some minor delivery issues but my complaints pertain to the website. For example, I just purchased flowers on Thanksgiving eve to be delivered on Thanksgiving Day. The website showed delivery was available for Thanksgiving Day so I selected it and the purchase went through with no issues. However, I received no indication that the flowers were delivered and my Mom never called me to say "Thank You for the flowers!". This has happened in the past once or twice so I automatically assumed Janine's was closed for Thanksgiving. The next day (Black Friday) a representative from Janine's called me to apologize and asked if delivering the flowers on Black Friday would be acceptable. I informed her of an appropriate time to deliver the flowers and they arrived like clockwork. Once again, my Mom was very happy with the flowers and I am a happy customer. I could see how insufficient website information could mess up someone's day in a real bad way. I would suggest that the business work closer with the website developer to get this resolved to prevent potential problems for the future. Until these issues are ironed out, my recommendation is to call Janine's to verify your delivery will be ready when promised if the situation is dyer. I will continue to use Janine's in the future and chalk this up to a learning experience. Janine's provides great service and always deliver beautiful flowers.

So I placed my order online easily enough. They had several options available fit what I was looking for. I selected my choice and completed the order. I was sent a confirmation and later a notice that the Flowers were out for delivery. Unbeknownst to me, my significant other was on the move this particular day and once I found that out it was nice that the notice of delivery stated who the driver was and a phone number to call or text. I made use of the text feature and let the driver know that the recipient would not be home and to leave the flowers on the porch. The driver contacted me back to tell me they got the message and would do so. I was not home at the time of delivery but saw on my camera system the driver took due care placing the flowers just right on a chair instead of just leaving them on the floor of the porch. It was how she placed them. Carefully and paused to look at them to make sure it looked nice. Like a presentation. I truly appreciated that. The flowers are beautiful and high quality The shop obviously employs good people.
