Not only did Marie answer the phone, but she was incredibly kind and willing to help, even offering to include a sympathy card and personally go out to purchase gift cards from another store to add to the arrangement. This level of customer service and care is truly rare. It's always a bit nerve-wracking giving your credit card information over the phone--especially for a $550 order--but Marie immediately sent me receipts, photos of the floral arrangement, and images of the gift card receipts and activation codes. She made me feel completely at ease through the entire process. I would recommend this shop again and again--for the stunning flowers, attention to detail, and absolutely exceptional service. So I called and the first thing the gentleman says is "what is it" and I was really shocked but thought I must've heard wrong. And I asked if this enchanted florist? And he tells me yes that's what I JUST said, his tone was already super irritated. I asked about their fruit basket options and he tells me to just look on the website as all the options are on the website. And I told him the website told me to call, which is why I'm calling. And he said well "that's simply not true it's all on the website", which took me aback because I feel like this isn't how to speak to anyone? And also what about elderly people who wanted to place order but didn't know how to use the internet to check "all the options"? We went back and forth a little cause I just wanted to place an order, but he was super rude and condensing. So I asked for his name and rudely told me, why do you need it, and I told him he's being very rude. Then he proceeds to say, well when I answered the phone you were speaking a different language. I was so shocked because I barely have an accent but he concluded I wasn't even speaking English? I had to hang up because he was getting super belligerent and argumentative on the phone and I was super scared. I'm actually shaking in fear right now because I don't think I've ever had such a bad encounter over the phone. He said I was laughing at him but I was actually about to cry from how mean he was. This place makes it so hard to support small businesses. I would avoid at all costs since they don't seem to want business and are super unhelpful. For the business itself, I would suggest training your staff better and to treat people with respect.

I have always had good service from Janine's and my Mom is always happy when the flowers arrive. Janine's always calls before delivering the flowers to make sure someone is home to accept them. If my Mom is out-n-about, Janine's will call her to let her know that they can customize the delivery to her liking if necessary. Janine's always keeps me in the loop with what is going on with the delivery as well. Every now and then there are some minor delivery issues but my complaints pertain to the website. For example, I just purchased flowers on Thanksgiving eve to be delivered on Thanksgiving Day. The website showed delivery was available for Thanksgiving Day so I selected it and the purchase went through with no issues. However, I received no indication that the flowers were delivered and my Mom never called me to say "Thank You for the flowers!". This has happened in the past once or twice so I automatically assumed Janine's was closed for Thanksgiving. The next day (Black Friday) a representative from Janine's called me to apologize and asked if delivering the flowers on Black Friday would be acceptable. I informed her of an appropriate time to deliver the flowers and they arrived like clockwork. Once again, my Mom was very happy with the flowers and I am a happy customer. I could see how insufficient website information could mess up someone's day in a real bad way. I would suggest that the business work closer with the website developer to get this resolved to prevent potential problems for the future. Until these issues are ironed out, my recommendation is to call Janine's to verify your delivery will be ready when promised if the situation is dyer. I will continue to use Janine's in the future and chalk this up to a learning experience. Janine's provides great service and always deliver beautiful flowers.

This time was good but not quite up to the previous experiences. I called to get an approximate delivery time and I was told they could not provide one. Not even a best guess? The flowers did arrive and the arrangement was very pretty. However, the arrangement included some pink roses and, frankly, they were not the freshest. The other flowers in the arrangement were gorgeous. I would definitely order from them again in the future but this transaction was a bit of a disappointment.
