So I called and the first thing the gentleman says is "what is it" and I was really shocked but thought I must've heard wrong. And I asked if this enchanted florist? And he tells me yes that's what I JUST said, his tone was already super irritated. I asked about their fruit basket options and he tells me to just look on the website as all the options are on the website. And I told him the website told me to call, which is why I'm calling. And he said well "that's simply not true it's all on the website", which took me aback because I feel like this isn't how to speak to anyone? And also what about elderly people who wanted to place order but didn't know how to use the internet to check "all the options"? We went back and forth a little cause I just wanted to place an order, but he was super rude and condensing. So I asked for his name and rudely told me, why do you need it, and I told him he's being very rude. Then he proceeds to say, well when I answered the phone you were speaking a different language. I was so shocked because I barely have an accent but he concluded I wasn't even speaking English? I had to hang up because he was getting super belligerent and argumentative on the phone and I was super scared. I'm actually shaking in fear right now because I don't think I've ever had such a bad encounter over the phone. He said I was laughing at him but I was actually about to cry from how mean he was. This place makes it so hard to support small businesses. I would avoid at all costs since they don't seem to want business and are super unhelpful. For the business itself, I would suggest training your staff better and to treat people with respect. read more

terrible, do not order from these people. they accepted an order for Valentine's Day delivery several days in advance, canceled the order a day later via an email saying I requested the cancellation which I didn't, they didn't bother to even call, after I asked for an explanation they blamed me for missing a deadline they didn't post, and then blamed some vague "foul weather". on the plus side, aside from the absolutely terrible customer service, they at least didn't steal my money. read more

I placed an order online and then called in to make a minor change. The gentleman who answered was very rude and said my order was cancelled as it was too late (even though their website says otherwise). Took my money but no flowers and total lack of communication. Unfortunate. read more

We are so lucky to have this florist in Albany. The owner is friendly, his arrangements are thoughtful and he's always been so accommodating! I've been here a few times and the product and customer service is certainly elevated and consistent. Another local business that deserves every penny you spend! I called on a Thursday to pick up some flowers for my mother and Louis handpicked the arrangement for me and even though I could see he was clearly inundated with work and other customers waiting he treated me so well! Definitely get some flowers for your next occasion from this establishment or even just because and you will sure to be delighted. Plus not to mention next door there's a coffee shop bakery... so you'll satisfy your all your senses in virtually a one stop shopping experience from eyes to ears to mouth! we called to ensure they could deliver a floral arrangement on time for a wake. the owner, Lewis, was very helpful and accommodating. he was able to tell us whether the arrangement we selected would be available on time for delivery and helped selected alternate flowers that would look nice if the original lilies wouldn't be open enough. I first noticed this lovely shop while walking around downtown on a First Friday/Fork in the Road. It has a beautiful store front and the most lovely name so I was immediately intrigued. We finally visited for the first time months later when we were in the market for floral arrangements for our Easter table. We had the most lovely experience with the owner, Louis. He took time to understand our vision and simply chat to get to know us as new friends and neighbors. I was truly impressed. It was a pleasure to meet him. A HUGE competitive advantage for The Enchanted Florist is that they have delivery for just $5. Such a treat. All businesses should deliver! It look an errand off our plate on a busy holiday weekend that we really didn't have time to do. Thank you so much! And the woman who delivered the flowers was very professional and kind. Our internet order (which was guaranteed for same-day delivery to Albany Medical) was never delivered. No phone call, no email, nothing from the store to let us know that there was any problem with our order. Upon calling the store we received rude treatment and no apology. Louis delivers fresh, creative arrangements once a week to my Salon and I am never disappointed. My clients always comment how beautiful and different the arrangements are compared to the typical flowers one usually receives. I initially had the flowers delivered to help a new business out, lord knows in these times we can always scrimp and save a few dollars here and there to boost the bottom line. They were amazing. I ordered yellow roses, they checked distributors to get me the best price. They also opened the shop up on Saturday when they are CLOSED in order for me to pick up my order. wouldn't recommend, ordered my wife flowers on Monday to be delivered on Friday valentine's day, they delivered them today! Wednesday 2 days before valentines day, and they asked for her contact number in case they had to get a hold of her, I told them they COULD NOT call her cell phone because she couldn't answer her cell phone in her office to just text her if needed, delivery driver called and even left a voice mail, the delivery slip even said on it text only. security had to track my wife down, and she had to leave a meeting, when I called to complain , the person was rude and condescending, said to me that he has never had any body complain about receiving flowers whenever they did, and what do I expect them to do about it now!! will never use them again. once they get the money they don't care any more. will never use them again, there are plenty in the Albany area. read more

My flowers were delivered looking like they were dying already. I added water and nothing happened the flowers were in a green piece of foam like square and it was dry . Not happy at all it was a delivery that was ordered out of state and i think tbey thought it wouldnt matter. read more
