The link for tele visits is apparently automated and hadn't received link .I asked what are steps should the link not come through : I was asked to reschedule. For this I'm giving office one stars . I called two many times just to try and get through to speak with doctors. Never again

I waited for about 10-15 minutes in the waiting room before being seen. There were about 10 people ahead of me so amazing timing on getting in. Once I got called tarra took me to my room immediately and got me started she asked all the right questions and had amazing bed side manner. She made sure I was taken care of and felt supported and comfortable. Dr. PETRE came in within a 5-10min time frame after I got them my X-rays he was polite laid back and ready to hear my issues and give me a potential solution. He asked me questions and broke down what my issue is in the simplest terms to make sure I was truly able to understand what was going on with my knee. He gave me two solutions and answered questions before I could ask them. Also amazing bed side manner I truly appreciate their assistance and help. The girl at the front desk I didn't get her name but she was very polite and friendly to all the patients. She made sure everyone's bad day turned good.

For weeks, I made multiple attempts to provide important information related to my upcoming procedure, including submitting my current medications exactly as instructed on the preparation paperwork. Despite leaving messages and following their process, I received no acknowledgment or timely response. For a medical office, this level of neglect and poor communication is unacceptable. When I finally called to follow up, instead of addressing my concerns professionally, the staff member I spoke with became defensive and combative regarding the office's failure to respond. The call ultimately ended with the phone being hung up on me. At no point was there any ownership, apology, or concern shown for the lack of patient communication. This experience has seriously impacted my confidence in this practice. Patient care does not begin and end with the procedure itself -- communication, professionalism, responsiveness, and accountability are equally important. Unfortunately, this office failed in all of those areas. As anyone who's read my other reviews will know, I always have to preface medical reviews by saying that I've been a nurse for over 20 years and tend to be pretty critical of healthcare in general, so a 3-star rating for this office would be a 4-star rating for anything non-medical. Just to provide some perspective...... Getting an appointment with Dr. Fry can sometimes be a challenge, and his office staff are not the friendliest people on the planet. They've never been overtly rude, but just kind of abrupt. However, as I've sat waiting in the waiting room I've overheard multiple phone calls that appear to be from long-time patients (apparently HIPAA rules don't apply here) who seem to have a good rapport with the staff, so maybe we just haven't broken the ice yet. The waiting room itself is pretty small, and I had to laugh at the signs taped to the walls telling you to please sit up straight in the chairs....to improve your posture but also to make the chairs last longer. I can honestly say I've never seen that before in a doctor's office! Be prepared to wait a while, as I've yet to see him run on schedule. Our longest wait was about 45 minutes, but typically it's only about 15 minutes past our appointment time. The actual amount of time spent with Dr. Fry has never been more than 10 minutes, and that's a LONG visit, so I can only assume that his other patients are more complex and require more of his time. As for Dr. Fry himself.....he's a bit too casual for my tastes, but it works for my son. His general appearance is reminiscent of a college stoner who's just rolled out of bed. He's very direct and kind of "jokey" with his instructions, but he gets his point across and does listen to what you're telling him. Like I said, this is a little too casual for me, but for a 19 yr old boy it's just what he needs to make him feel comfortable and open up to talk to him. So if my son is happy and getting good care, I'm happy.....end of story.

T in post-op was very helpful…read more The procedure was an hour and fifteen minutes late! The preop rooms aren't rooms but cubes. There is no privacy and you can hear everything. Talk about HIPAA concerns. And it's gross. Yet I found the whole process completely dysfunctional, receiving multiple emails with confusing instructions. They threaten to charge you a cancellation fee for noncompliance but honestly the whole process was confusing and easy to mess up bc it was not clear. The prep used --Plenvu--contained phenylalanine (aspartame). In addition to not being very safe, it tasted awful. There is no reason to use an artificial sweetener in a bowel prep. It's not healthy. I'm not sure this was the best prep to offer patients. Overall, I'm wasn't happy with the facility & procedures, but T in post-operative did help make it easier. The receptionist was rude and patronizing, refusing to allow me to speak with the preop contact , T, that I had been dealing with. The nursing staff, however, were extremely friendly. That was another plus. Also, family/friends aren't allowed in the waiting area. This can be especially stressful for children or adults who are scared and need a support system around them

My total experience with them would rank very high with any I've had. I had a question late at night about the prep, on the eve of the operation, and I was speaking to a doctor within ten minute. Concerning the facility, it is on the smaller side from what I was use to but once inside it ran as efficiently and pleasantly as any I've been to. I can't compliment the staff highly enough, as they were all professional and extremely helpful and courteous. The procedure went well and was implemented flawlessly. I would not have any issues recommending MDTEC to a family member.

Essentially, you pay for the healthcare you need. This is an excellent practice for people who cannot easily afford medical insurance and are shut out of our healthcare system. For myself, I enjoy the fact that The practice is personable and accessible, and I never have a difficult time getting an appointment when I needed it. I think many more people should be considering medical practices such as evolve, yet I still do not find that many. The closest analogy is somewhere like Care first, however, Care first is less of a medical practice run by one doctor and more of a mass healthcare system. Evolve is a medical practice, with an excellent doctor, competent staff, and a pay as you go approach.
