I arrived 11 minutes early for my scheduled appointment. The front desk was upset that I didn't arrive earlier because they needed me to complete a packet of paperwork. They handed me what appeared to be new patient paperwork. I've already been a patient for several years. They insisted that I needed to complete the new patient paperwork so I did. When it was finally time for me to see the doctor, he told me that he wouldn't be renewing my prescription because I wasn't suffering from cystic acne. Well, no duh. I've been taking this medication for the last couple of years and it has successfully been keeping my cystic acne at bay. I need to have the prescription renewed so that I wouldn't start suffering from cystic acne again. After much back-and-forth, the doctor insisted that I had rosacea and not cystic acne so I did not get my cystic acne prescription renewed. Wouldn't you know when my prescription ran out the cystic acne returned just as I told the doctor that it would. Needless to say, I found a new dermatologist and don't plan on going back to Central Ohio Skin Cancer.

He is extremely responsive via MyChart & his medical assistants are some of the best. Everyone in my family sees one of the practitioners in this office so it's great to have a doctor who can be insightful about medical conditions, possible connections, and overall life experiences. If you're looking for a doctor who listens to your concerns, values your opinion/concerns, and has years of knowledge under his belt: Dr. McClure is the best option for you and your family.

A…read morecouple of times I've gone to see him with an idea in mind of what was wrong with me, and he comes up with something completely different... and of course he's always right. His manner is very friendly and easy-going, and he makes you feel comfortable. I had no problems with his old location in Worthington. It was small but actually much more convenient for me (have you SEEN the traffic at Polaris?). However, the new location is clearly much nicer... roomy, modern and bright. Anyway, check this out: I called Mid-Ohio Internal Medicine yesterday (Monday) to make an appointment for some stomach issues and was told I couldn't be seen until Thursday. This was a problem for me, because I was going to temporarily lose my medical insurance starting Wednesday. I asked if there was anything at all they could do, and the secretary said I could come in at 10:15 a.m. today (Tuesday), but I might have to wait for a long time, as they were very overbooked. Well, I arrived at 10:15 a.m. and the waiting room was completely empty. I waited about 30 seconds before being called back, and the whole exam from arrival to departure took about 20 minutes. Amazing.
