The next day, a light rain was falling which we knew meant snow to up at Wanoga. As we were driving our way up, my trailer started swinging back and forth like it was going to flip. I slowly pulled over and found that the lynch pin that held the trailer tilt down was missing. No idea how that could be gone. I walked along the freeway a bit to see if it had recently fallen out but nothing. Plus it was snowing and traffic was zipping past so I opted to go back to my vehicle. Not the pain in the ass I was looking for. We called and it took an hour for them to get back to us. By then, I had fixed it using a gear tie I had in my truck to latch it down. I also did a ratchet strap set up to try and hold it down and after assistance with one of Oregon State Police's finest, we were on our way. The sleds were amazing. I preferred the Polaris Assault over the Pro's. My buddy compared them to one being a bad ass Goldwing (the Assault) and the other a bad ass crotch rocket. But seriously, they were both super fun to ride and the location great. On the way back, about 3 blocks from dropping things off, my gear tie snapped and obviously the ratchet wasn't enough as the back of the trailer tipped and I was dragging metal on the street. I got it fixed and back again. The sad part was there were no apologies just something about the "prior customer must not have secured it". We also ended up leaving with the keys for the sleds. About 5m's from where we were staying we got a phone call asking about them so we turned around. Why my gf didn't leave them in the sled I don't know but we had to turn around to drop them off. Anyway, this brings me back to my first sentence. A simple checklist for the company and the customer before leaving with the sleds and after dropping them off would be helpful to all involved. Would I use them again? More then likely since I now know more about what is going on but I definitely would shop around first.

Ryan first showed us a used Newmar New Aire that we really loved, but he didn't have one available at the time. He was still incredibly helpful and generous with his time. If we were purchasing again, we would absolutely go through him. Unfortunately, we ended up purchasing from the world's largest Newmar dealer in Florida, and the experience there was abysmal and expensive. We drove from Florida to Oregon (home) for a 6 week trip and took a couple small trips. After compiling a big list of necessary repairs, we returned to Beaver for service. That took about 5 months, though we weren't in a hurry and it seems they were very thorough. Nine months after initial purchase, we scheduled a paid walkthrough with their specialist, Aaron Pierce. That experience made a huge difference. Aaron took the time to walk us through details we didn't even realize we needed to know--things that would have made our earlier trips much easier and more enjoyable. Even when leaving, Aaron, Jaime, and Ryan all made sure we knew how to reach them if there were questions or issues. Arriving back at home, we had questions on AGS settings and Aaron has been very responsive via text messaging. Overall, Beaver Coach Sales has been helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to support us even when they didn't make the original sale. That says a lot about their team.

We appreciate Stacey organization and equipping the van with all the essentials - stove, pots & pas, spices, table, chairs, awning, bike rack, etc - that we always had what we needed and felt prepared. When we arrived for our reservation we were greeted with the most friendly, helpful people who quickly got a group of eight set for two snowmobiles. Needless to say they gave us great advice on where to go and we had a blast! The machines were perfect for us and we had so much fun and flexibility with our ride. Upon returning, they were fantastic at getting our equipment and checking us out. For the same price as a tour for two people, eight of us had a blast on snowmobiles for over 8 hours. Thank you! I thought it'd be tougher to bike around but the trails are super smooth and a calm ride. The bikes were expensive looking and rode well. Biking around to the shops and back to our rental was relaxing and fun. We kept discovering wildlife while going over the biking trails. Deer, chipmunks, woodpeckers, etc. It was all a short leisurely ride. We'd stop, the boy would look for a few minutes, then off we go. Beyond the rental, while I was in the shop people were coming and going getting things fixed, questions answered, friendly advice on parts, and buying seats or locks. The employees were genuinely nice people and I hope that they continue to be successful.

Wed, Jul 23, 1:58PM "I'm reaching out to let you know what a disappointment my ride was on Sunday. I was partnered with Medicine Bow for the ride. I'm an experienced rider and own two horses myself. I didn't find out until after the ride that he is only four years old - which may explain his green behavior. I really don't find it enjoyable to constantly be pulling on a horse's mouth while they are trying to go their own way or getting too close to other horses. He's already got a hard mouth and I'm sure it's going to get worse. Putting experienced riders on this horse for an hour at a time is a poor excuse for proper training. I sincerely hope you do the right thing for this young horse before he's ruined.

Our trail master Piper and her amazing guide horse Pepper took us on a beautiful ride up to a lookout where we enjoyed the best cinnamon marshmallow s'mores and a little break. On our way back we got the same wonderful views, and we had an overall amazing time. Super relaxing, the horses were great, and Piper made the experience super fun. Will definitely be returning!
