We had a really positive experience with Beaver Coach Sales, even though we didn't initially purchase our RV from them. Ryan first showed us a used Newmar New Aire that we really loved, but he didn't have one available at the time. He was still incredibly helpful and generous with his time. If we were purchasing again, we would absolutely go through him. Unfortunately, we ended up purchasing from the world's largest Newmar dealer in Florida, and the experience there was abysmal and expensive. We drove from Florida to Oregon (home) for a 6 week trip and took a couple small trips. After compiling a big list of necessary repairs, we returned to Beaver for service. That took about 5 months, though we weren't in a hurry and it seems they were very thorough. Nine months after initial purchase, we scheduled a paid walkthrough with their specialist, Aaron Pierce. That experience made a huge difference. Aaron took the time to walk us through details we didn't even realize we needed to know--things that would have made our earlier trips much easier and more enjoyable. Even when leaving, Aaron, Jaime, and Ryan all made sure we knew how to reach them if there were questions or issues. Arriving back at home, we had questions on AGS settings and Aaron has been very responsive via text messaging. My husband and I recently bought a Newmar London Aire from Beaver Coach. Not only is this a big purchase, the process can sometimes be overwhelming if you don't buy it from the right dealership. Having bought one in the past from another dealership, we really had an eye opening experience here that was vastly different than our first. Every single person that works at Beaver is very genuine, kind, friendly and helpful, they also are extremely knowledgeable. Just like any RV you have to take a couple days to work out the kinks that come along in the beginning which we had a couple but, the Beaver Coach dealership has the most onsite Newmar techs out of any other dealership. most only have 1. They have double digits. This made our experience and process even better. They know these rigs down to the smallest detail. (They also spec them better than any I've seen across the country). What you won't find at Beaver Coach are stuffy sales guys in suits where you are trying to figure out if they are being honest and treat you very much like "a customer". You will find that when you leave you will know over and over you made the very best decision. Everyone will know your name and you will rest easy that you will be taken care of for years to come. You will arrive as a customer but leave with friends. Beaver Coach staff have basically become like family friends at this point. Sometimes a story has to be told. I dont usually leave bad reviews. Beaver Coach specifically management in their service department and the training of their techs calls into question their weather this should be elevated to the Better Business Bureau. Earlier this year I took my coach into Beaver Coaches for Stabilizing Jack issue. They replaced a wiring harness and called it good. Upon the very first use they were not working. Took it back and began a 6 week ordeal where at every turn they had to rely on phone calls to Lippert (Jack Manufacturer) . I googled what should be expected regarding billing hours amd approximate costs. I was given the run arround for 6 weeks as summer began slipping away. Please be cautious when doing business with their service department. My total billing was over 8 thousand dollars in two visits to fix the same problem. To be fair they also replaced my steps which originally they believed to be a bushing problem and then turned out to be bad gears. (They misdiagnosed) what I googled through AI regarding billing hours they of course went beyond. Please consider another shop for your RV needs. read more

On 10/22/2025 we purchased our 3rd Newmar, our first from Lindsay at Beaver Coach Sales in Bend, OR. The buying process with the previous dealers was abysmal. We really felt like the dealer's primary emphasis was to get the sale and get rid of us. The delivery walk-thru on our last coach was to be three hours if we took delivery during the week or two hours if we took deliver on a Saturday. I guess I learn faster on Saturdays. Beaver Coach Sales offered "as much time as I wanted" for the delivery walk-thru. Put it this way, Beaver Coach Sales treated us like we have been treated at the Mother Ship (Newmar factor service department in Nappanee, IN). The entire process was respectful and enjoyable. Beaver Coach Sales did everything they promised to do, including verbal promises. They worked closly with Newmar to get two Freightliner chassis issues fixed before we took delivery. Everyone is an expert in their area and understand who to direct your questions to if they can't answer your question(s). Lindsay is the consummate salesman, very relaxing to talk to. Travis worked with Lindsay to get the "extra things" accomplished. Stepahnie always greated us with a warm smile and a true desire to help. Shu, the busines manager; based on their attitudes Shu and Lindsay must have been brothers. Service!, also known as Becky, is someone we all need to get to know. Our first experience with the Beaver Coach Service Dept. was superb. After leaving a voicemail they called back quickly and showed interest in doing repair work on our new RV, which was actually purchased elsewhere. An appointment was scheduled a couple days out, and upon arrival we were warmly greeted by name. Ryan Dillon was our Service Advisor and he was awesome. He took great care in understanding and documenting our issues, he explained the process well and provided good communication as our vehicle was being worked on by Jeremy; who also spent time with us to make sure he understood our problem. I usually do my own work, but it was under warranty! I was not interested in dropping black tank, when I dropped it off going over repairs with tech ( they actually have mechanics) we both came up with a game plan to not pull black tank. All the repairs were golden top notch repairs. Talking to tech he came up with better solutions then just replacing parts ( just changing parts does not solve the problem). This place has out standing customer service from parts to techs to service writers staff across the hall way , I did not buy my unit from them but they treated me like I did! Just had Mike Premus have a new front curtain made for our 2001 Beaver Patriot, it has the powered curtain option and our original was worn from age. I suppose we had "sucker" written all over our foreheads when we found a Thor motor coach for a cheaper price at this business. It turned out to have an insane amount of problems, and the maintenance people here blamed my husband even though Thor said it wasn't what Beaver's maintenance people said at all. We couldn't use it for the first year because it was in the shop. After numerous trips both flying and driving from Forest Grove to Bend, we sold it and bought a Grand Design from a good dealer in Salem. The difference in service and product was night and day. Beaver Coach Service Dept. is the worst RV service center in Central Oregon! When you make an appointment for RV service far in advance, and drive it there for your appointment, they say they can't even look at it that day, not even a visual inspection! Beaver Service can't figure out how to schedule RV appointments to allow service to start the day of your appointment. They can't guarantee when they can start on the RV, and can't guarantee they can keep a non-winterized RV inside at night. That means when you have an appointment for a specific day, you don't really have an appointment for that day, and if it will be below freezing you will need to go back and pick up your non-winterized RV each day and put it back in your garage and bring it in the next day in hopes they may time to "look at it" that day. In my opinion, that level of service is worthless. Find a place that can look at your RV on the day of the RV Service appointment! That would an acceptable level of service. read more

I have been looking at their website for a while, they always have nice coaches, so we decided to head from Washington to Bend to test drive a Newmar, we also test drove an Entegra Cornerstone which we ended up buying, our sales rep Ryan was great. Very knowledgeable and no pressure at all. We put in a verbal offer and left that evening to head to our RV resort in our old motorhome. In the morning he called with a counter, and we countered again and made a deal. When we packed up and headed back to the dealership the next day the coach was inside and the gentleman that did the extensive walk through was Amazing too! He went through everything, and I mean everything. Finance with Shu was actually non stressful, he was a genuine person, and we appreciated his suggestions. We have a lot to learn with this Cornerstone, there is a lot of technology our old coach did not have. I purchased a 2023 Entegra Qwest in August 2023. It has been at the dealer since we purchased all but 11 days. The first 16 days they did nothing to address the repairs I ask them to repair. Brought back on September 19 and it is still there. I have never dealt with such an incompetent company. I tried to elevate this to the owner Ty Kelly and he doesn't care and can't be bothered. They can't read repair orders. They can't figure out how to take a photo of the low spot in the floor and to top things off they backed another motorhome into the side of mine and tried to hide the damage. Fixed without my knowledge or approval. They painted the hood. The broke two of the clips holding the insulation on the hood and did not properly install the vents back on the hood and then lied about it. I find Sean to be one of the most incompetent people I have ever dealt with. I did not appreciate the constate lies from Beaver Coach employees. Please read other reviews and do not buy from Beaver Coach. Once you purchase they no longer care about you. We bought a 2015 used RV from them, including a warranty, summer 2018. We live in it. The first week out we had numerous problems. Brought it back twice and sat in their lot for weeks! They did not fix everything, they had not serviced it before sale like they said they had, and we finally gave up and left. We wrote a 4 page typewritten letter to the owner and cc'd 3 department heads we dealt with, detailing specific problems and dates. We NEVER heard a word back. The techs were good, but their hands were tied by the lousy service writers and heads. This is NOT how it should be. They have a pretty good reputation, which we checked before we purchased. Worst RV dealer on the West Coast! We made a huge mistake a bought a lemon from these horrible people! They sold us a used 5th wheel trailer and an extended warranty. Unfortunately, none of the damages to our new home is covered under the bogus warranty. Imagine spending $35k only to find that you just purchased a trailer that leaks water everywhere and the warranty we purchased for close to $2000. doesn't cover any of these much needed repairs! The dishonest sales manager didn't offer any solutions just asked if we wanted to cancel the bogus warranty. These people have zero class and no respect for their customers. They will screw you over anyway they can! Buyers beware this is a horrible place in which to shop or purchase any RV. We are contacting an attorney because of their practices! This is not just the best car/vehicle dealership I've ever done business with, it's flat-out one of the best businesses I've ever dealt with. I recently bought a new motorhome from Beaver. The negotiations were professional and civilized. They kept their promises. They met the timetable we set for dealer-prep and delivery. They were consistently polite and hospitable. Most important, their employees take the initiative to do the little things that cumulatively make a good experience great. And sometimes, those little things turn out to be not so little. The morning I took delivery of my rig, an employee in the service department noticed one of my tires was a little low. Further inspection revealed that the tire had a slow leak caused by running over a screw in the parking lot. The tire was promptly swapped for a new one and I was on my way for a smooth trip, instead of needing roadside assistance a few hours later! I've dealt with several RV dealers. Buyer Beware!! The honesty and integrity of Beaver Coach is Deplorable!! These people are nice and accommodating during the purchase process. Once Shu gets thru with you on financing, selling the much toted Compass RV protection($5,995)& Coach Net roadside service($438) you are out the door and they are done with you. We purchased a '08 Itasca Meridian 4/12/19. I was our first used Moho all other 3 were new. Got it home and several days later had to drive it 30 miles back with slide partially out. One slide motor was replaced at their expense( rightfully so!) without Moho for two weeks!Had to take it back,slide was jerking charged $45 to grease mechanism that they neglected to do. By the way our Moho had been lived in thru the winter until we took possession by one of their salesman. Our first trip out the windshield leaked horribly leaving huge puddles on the floor. Windshield wipers were shot. Went back to Beaver Coach tried to get them to give us new wipers $90 later we were out the door. Door window also leaked puddles on steps inside. Took pics of old rust in frame and sent to Ty no response. Shower faucet had a hole in it and water shot straight up. None of this was covered under the super duper protection plan nor by Beaver Coach. They could of cared less! In our purchase agreement there was to be a $1,900 full service. Oil was not changed, batteries had no water resulting in our having to buy batteries. On next trip for two weeks the entry step would not go out. Called Shawn in service for a tip to override mechanism. He told me to go get it fixed. Main slide control module went out. Slide would not retract. Made serval attempts to talk to Shawn about a trick to get it in. Left my concern and info. with a very nice lady and she said that Shawn would have all my info. when he would call me back, which was days later. Shawn said he had no idea what I was talking about, I told him that the Lady said he would have that in front of him. He informed me in a haughty tone that they don't service Winnebago's only Entegra & Tiffin. Shawn said to call Bill Hall(former employee) Mobile RV service, which I did to the tune of $195. Compass was supposed to cover $125 of it. Claim denied! Took Moho to Coach Masters(where our other 3 had been serviced over the years) to replace slide control module $717 later Compass Once again denied our claim. The reason is the invoice said it was a module. It had to say switch, which they are the same thing(even Shu agreed on this) Coach Masters tried to reason with Compass to no avail. We were sent a survey by owner Ty. We filled it out and attached 3 pages with pics and problems with Moho, service and Compass. Did not hear a word back. Why waste our time if you are not Man enough to respond! We started calling Shu the 2nd week in Oct. to cancel roadside svc (Coach Net) weeks later he returned our call(with a I'm busy attitude!) after I sent a text asking why asking why Shu was not returning my calls. He said to send him a e-mail with my request. He gave me the wrong e-mail address. Finally got the right one . Weeks later he said he did not receive it After much insistence on my part he found it in his junk mail! Is this any way to run a business? So he was going to finally cancel the service and said that it would take 3 to 4 weeks for the bank to post it. After not receiving the credit we went to bank and spoke with a Officer .Was told it would only take 10 days max for it to be posted. She suggested we call their Loan specialty dept. I was basically told that what Shu said was not true. Still no credit! It has been 45 days plus. While talking to Shu about the cancellation we told him about Compass denying our claims. He said there was a lady employee who worked with Compass and that he would have her call them. Have not heard a word once again from Shu or this lady. We recently purchased a used Toy Hauler unit from Beaver Coach Sales, all we can say is what an awesome experience! In all of the "big ticket" items we have ever purchased, this was hands down the smoothest, stressless, and low pressure purchases we've made. Ryan Kelly in sales was fantastic, we live 175 miles from Bend, and he was quick to respond and communicate with answers to every question we had, took time to get measurements we asked for, and was very genuine in making sure we got anything we needed in the process. Jake, the walk through guy, was helpful and made sure we understood all the bells and whistles of the unit, and de-winterized our unit as we were going to be using it same night. Shu, the finance manager, was very quick to get a bank to approve us, made sure documents were prepped and correct before we were in his office, and helped us in decisions with extended warranty coverages that we're reasonably priced. All 3 of these guys were happy to come in on a day that the lot was not "open" due to the Covid crud we all are dealing with. (They respected the 6ft "social distance") Ryan and Jake were at the front doors waiting when we arrived welcoming us, our daughter, and 2 dogs, just like they'd known us for a long time. All in all, we probably purchased one of the lowest cost units in their inventory....yet were made to feel just as important as if we were high rollers buying a $250k Coach! Nice people but we won't ever stop here for service again." We purchased our 2001 Beaver Contessa several years ago and have had it serviced at various truck service areas. We wanted to have Beaver service her believing they would be more knowledgeable about the coach. Along with servicing the coach and generator we had told the service rep an ABS light had come on on our last trip and the exhaust brake did not work. My understanding was the ABS sensors must work for the exhaust brake to function. Also on the list was to replace the deadbolt which I had dropped and broken, replace the air horn actuator, and look at the washer dryer unit which would fill with water but not spin. They were having troubles with their computer system and tried to keep us informed about the progress of the service. We had an 0800 appointment and they started with the coach around 0830. Very courteous and knowledgeable staff. The tech told me they had replaced 3 of the 4 ABS sensors and had to test drive the coach three times to get all the codes to clear. The dead bolt was $156.65 to replace, so don't drop it if you take it out. Labor was 1..2 hours and shop supplies were $14.30. Ok it's a specialty part I get that, but 1.2 hours to install wow.. then $14.30 for shop supplies, thats BS. It's a deadbolt what supplies are required? I provided the screws.... The tech called the washer/dryer unit company and told them what the unit wasn't doing. They said it would be one of three controllers which were no longer available. The tech later told me there would be no charge since they didn't work on it. The bill came to $59.60, at least there were no shop supplies costs.... I was told we needed an air filter since it was filthy. I said then replace it, he said the cost was $250.00 it was listed at $225.56 on the bill. When I checked the price at Cat it was $85.00. One of my air bags was pinched and they were not able to get to it so the tech showed me how to fix it which I did, thank you for showing me how. I went to the office around 1645 to see where we were since we were living in the coach. The parts department had closed up and gone home. I'm not even sure that if I had not gone in to check on the status that we would have been able to leave with our motorhome. I was told we would need to pay in the AM since she could not finish the bill without their information. I told her to take my charge card information and call me with the bill information. So they close up and we head North, back to Washington. The exhaust brake doesn't work, I am not a happy camper.....then the bill comes for $3116.32 now I'm really unhappy. For that amount the exhaust brake should at least work. I called and questioned the bill and it was reduced to $2990.41. Our belief was the service would be better at Beaver, it wasn't and the cost is more. We will be using local Cat or Freightliner service centers from now on. Very nice knowledgeable folks but an expensive drive/service and the major complaint was not repaired. read more

We live in Northern California and have Beaver Coach Sales and Service do nearly all of the required service work on our Beaver Coach. Each visit is met with the same "customer friendly" attitude, no matter which department we deal with. It seems each employee takes the same enthusiastic approach to the maintenance and repair of our Coach. Whether it is normal maintenance or a repair issue they have the knowledge and experience to do it right the first time. Her's an update of my the review I initially posted on July 16, 2018 (See below)Purchased a unit there on May 31, 2018. Over 6 weeks have passed and I have yet to receive the proper paperwork so I can legally register and tag my unit. Phoned the dealership on several occasions inquiring about the situation. In the last 6 weeks I have only received 1 return call on June 29th stating that "they're doing everything that they can to get the paperwork to me". I phoned there July 9th for an update. Left messages for either the sales manager (Greg), the business manager (Schu), or my salesman (Ryan- the owners son) to please return my call. Not one of the 3 of them could find 2 minutes in which to return my call. This is a horrible way to conduct business. Maybe they have lost interest in me because I only spent around $100k (a small price in their world...a rather large one in mine). It is remarkable that a company is so blatant in their negligence once the deposit is in their hand and they have all of their necessary paperwork signed. BUYER BEWARE!!!! There are lots of options when it comes to purchasing an RV. Choose wisely. P.S. They've found the time to send me emails concerning new sales pitches that include free hot dogs and sodas...but can't clean up a sale from over 6 weeks ago. HERE IS THE UPDATE: After just shy of 8 weeks since the purchase date I finally received my paperwork so I could title my vehicle. The explanation finally came from Roadtrek directly...who told me that they had to contact Mercedes in Germany to have a new title created because the original title was in the possession of the original owner. ( who currently is in litigation with Roadtrek over the vehicle. As it turns out, the unit has had major problems with it for quite some time. In short, Beaver Coach sold me a unit that they didn't even have a title for (illegal in many states). The unit obviously had issues with it since before Beaver Coach had it on their lot. They undoubtedly had knowledge that there were problems with the unit, which of course, they did not share with me. None of this held them back from telling me about the issues nor selling me the unit without thoroughly going through it. While ultimately I received my paperwork...there is still no excuse for selling me a vehicle that they didn't have a title for, selling me a unit that they knew had major issues, nor them neglecting to answer my phone calls. Currently my coach is back at the Roadtrek factory because there are numerous problems with it. With so many options out there for a consumer wishing to purchase an RV (in a very soft market at best) one would be wise to shop elsewhere. read more
