Kristie was amazing, no pressure and helped us make sure it would fit with our box spring before buying. We were able to get it delivered the next day and at a very reasonable price. John was also amazing! He was on time and set it all up for us so we didn't have to do a thing! He also took our old boxspring that was in the garage for a very small fee. I went in to pick it up and it's gone. After dealing with the store manager it's determined that it was resold to someone else but he assured me they'd get it figured out. Several days go by and no word from anyone. I call and leave messages. I finally get a call back from the store manager in Eugene. He too assured me he'd get it straightened out. Several more weeks go by and no word from anyone. I called Eugene and talked to the original salesman, he says sorry, we don't have anymore. You should pick one of two that were kind of similar - although wrong style. I finally choose one I sort of like. I'm told its on a truck, you can pick it up in Bend. I get a call later the next day that, sorry, they sold that one to another customer as well. At this point I'm told to come to the store and try to pick something else. I was out of town, the graduation present was ruined and I just wanted my money back. The salesman tells me, sorry, I'm not authorized to do that. So I start calling store managers again. Conveniently, they are off or unavailable and refuse to talk to me. A secretary was the only company representative that would talk to me - and she proceeded to lecture me how busy the managers are and I just have to understand. She went on to say only the Eugene store can issue a refund. Lie and behold, the Eugene store calls and says ok, now we will give you your money back. The person went on to say it wasn't their fault, they felt it was all handled wrong from the beginning, M Jacobs is a terrible employer....etc. Rude, unprofessional, irresponsible - not the store they advertise to be in the radio. I've never been treated poorer than this sale!

I have just had a magnificent experience with Patio World, from which I am in the midst of the…read moreprocess of ordering/taking delivery of some high end patio furniture. This is all a challenge now, due to Covid supply chain issues, etc. The first issue Patio World resolved to my great satisfaction was that they let me return almost $1000 worth of chair cushions. When the chairs themselves finally arrived this week, after being ordered online at the end of last summer, it turned out that the cushions that were the right size for the chair seats made the seat height much too high--in other words, it turned out that the chairs didn't need cushions at all, much less ones that were almost 3 inches thick. Patio World took them back and gave me a full refund, even though the cushions had been sitting unopened in a box in my garage awaiting the chairs' arrival for over a month. Yay, Mallory! The second great experience happened today when the cover for my new table and chairs turned out to be impossible to put on my new table, even though it was supposedly the correct size. Patio World took back the too-small cover (that was also wet when I brought it in, due to today's heavy rain) my husband and I could not fit onto the table and let me buy a larger size by covering only the price differential. Yay, Carrie! I will recommend Patio World to all my friends. It would have been so easy for them to just say "no" to me on both the cushions and the cover and instead they decided to say "yes." So I conclude this is a fantastic Bend business!!! I hope they will prosper greatly when they move to their new home on the west side. The Reed Mkt location is definitely a pain to enter and exit these days, so many people may pass them by in the meanwhile but I would encourage you to make the extra effort to get into the store and browse their great selection of patio furniture and related items. Simply the best as we and friends and neighbors to whom we've referred him know. This kind of skill is rare to find even in larger cities. We are so fortunate in Bend to have Anthony here. This week I gave him a call to see what he tought about trimming fringe size on a rug I have in my entry. Lovely rug but the long fringe was continually getting "mussed" up by passage back and forth and I'm just enough of an orderly type to have it drive me nuts and be continually brushing smooth the tousles. Anthony came out, assessed that trimming the fringe would be fine to do for that type of carpet, took the carpet, did the fringe trim, delivered it the next day and it is perfect. Absolutely perfect. Why didn't I think to ask him about this before? If you live in Central Oregon and have an investment in hand made rugs, you'll protect that investment by having Anthony be the only one to handle them. Top notch work and such a truly delightful man to work with. A gem.
