I scheduled mine and the guy told me I needed a new central AC system. Quoted me $13k. Wow. My AC compressor randomly stopped working after he left and the company said I didn't have enough r22 to power it. Sounded shady bc it was running when he was here. A month later, I decide to have a different HVAC company come take a look. They said my wires were disconnected outside and the ground wire was disconnected and it reset the breaker. The tech was obviously trying to get a commission off a new ac from me. I had to buy window units during that time just to get by in this heat. Wasted money that I don't have!
