    Traditional Afternoon Tea
    Arrt T.

Quaint little cafe near a main road. Lots of character from the founder, who originates from the UK. Park either on several spots in front or in a lot behind the shop. Peak hours are in the afternoon when most patrons order the afternoon tea set so expect higher wait times as the food is made to order. Set starts off with your choice of tea, following the pastry rack later. Our food came about an hour later after our tea was served, which could have been faster. But overall it was an experience.

Had an amazing afternoon having high tea. The place is small with odd mix-matched seating along one side as well as some outdoor seating. The sandwiches were lovely. Ham, turkey, egg salad, cheese, cucumber and potato. My favorite were the cucumber with cream cheese and the cheese sandwich which had caramelized onions. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The desserts were sweet and delicious especially the chocolate tart. But the best item were the scones with jelly and cream on top!! They were dry but not too dry and the jelly was sweet without being overly sweet and the cream was creamy without being overly creamy. All in all they were wonderful.

Fabulous vibe. Very fresh sandwiches. Unique ambiance. Very friendly owners. Highly recommend.

It's not kid friendly with tight small dining area but they do offer some fun things for kids inside there larger tables

Overall amazing scone! Get all the toppings and dining in does have its perks of lovely tableware but I had my kids along so we did the to-go box! ( first picture) They have a back parking section I recommend with a lot of character upon entry to checkout desk. Cash only but I did see Venmo link! (Photographed) Not kid friendly! Exception infant in car seat! No space for stroller either! (Exception outdoor dining) They did offer books inside larger tables with draws which helped 100% with entertainment as we waiting! Small outdoor patio Small indoor dining Typical vibes = older generation, trendy young couples, some college kids ( as a college is near by!) Small Quaint restaurant in a small downtown! Worth it though, go for a date, girls brunch, small meal! (keep in mind there hours though!!)

Consistently good and friendly service. Nice good sized sandwiches. They opened up tables outside separated for COVID but even for normal situations, it's nice to sit outside away from other people.

Scones, eclairs, lemon curd tart, finger sandwiches

A quaint little British-themed cafe in Oakwood with friendly service and a casual, relaxing ambiance. They only accept cash, check, and Venmo. My husband and I ordered the afternoon tea for 2 which included scones, eclairs, an almond based cake, a lemon curd tart, and assorted finger sandwiches. We chose English Breakfast tea among a large assortment of teas offered. The desserts were fantastic and lightly sweet (which we enjoyed!), the finger sandwiches were a little bland and dry. Overall, we loved supporting a small, family owned business and we would return if we are in the area again!

A small English tea/bakery in Dayton. The owners are polite and friendly. You get the rustic feeling when sitting inside. Their tea pot, cup and saucers are beautiful. I got the scone with cream and jam. The jam was excellent. They also have sandwiches. I highly recommend paying them a visit. Overall a great place.

Coffee is good. Service is good. Unfortunately there is no WiFi offered. That is a big part of why I go to coffee shops.

Great coffee British style. Love the few of this little cafe. Excellent place for lunch and to enjoy shopping in the strip.

The decor has changed since the last time I visited (more moody & cozy color scheme) but it still is and always has been a vibe!!! On my most recent visit I got an iced vanilla matcha with oat milk and an avocado "toast". The matcha was well blended and balanced between the matcha and vanilla flavor. My toast came out as a croissant piled high with fresh avocado, pickled onions, blistered tomatoes, micro greens and everything seasoning! So filling and delicious! I originally sat at a high top table in the front so I could eat and work easier at the same time but eventually moved to the low table conversation area in the back when I needed an outlet (the tall tables in the front by outlets were all taken). I also noticed that on wednesdays-sundays the shop is open until11p and that there are daily happy hour specials from 4-6p with drink and dip specials! Would love to come back one day to check this out! Definitely check out MidDay if you are in the area looking for somewhere to relax, catch up with a friend, work (be mindful of finding an outlet), or go on a date.... And yes I saw people doing all of these during the hours I was there!

An early start needs coffee and this morning began in Dayton so I headed up to Kettering to camp…read moreout, charge electronics, write Yelp reviews and, oh yeah, enjoy some delicious coffee. At 6:30 am, the place was already a little busy but a two-top table was a comfortable set up with an outlet adjacent. I ordered a cortado from the barista and she brought it over to my seat. Perfection. Served in the proper short glass and with a small glass of sparkling water, this is precisely how it's supposed to be. Folks, if you're sick of drinking a coffee-flavored milkshake, switch to a cortado. It's only 2 ounces of steamed (not foamed) milk with two shots of espresso. You will actually taste the coffee because it won't be swamped in a 14 ounce cup of milk! Warehouse is a comfortable space with nice tables for smaller and larger parties plus a nice space outside. Five stars! [Review 771 of 2026 - 306 in Ohio - 25952 overall]
