Stopped here late morning on a Friday. Love the building and location, but worried a bit as soon as we were seated at worn chairs and a sticky but clean looking table (maybe need better cleaning solution?). We were seated right away, and our server was busy, and was friendly enough but seemed to be having a rough day. Eggs benedict was ok, eggs a bit overdone. Biscuits and 'sausage' gravy were also just ok. When restaurants advertise sausage gravy, I expect sausage pieces in the gravy, but not much sausage or flavor to the gravy. Eggs and bacon were good. Server checked on us frequently but it felt like just a drive-by. So eating experience was ok but not great. My big issue is the women's bathroom. The whole thing looked like it hadn't had a good cleaning in a long time. If you zoom on the photo you can see mud on the wall from people foot-flushing. And foot flushing is understandable - I didn't want to touch anything! The only soap was already watered down and the bottle practically empty - what does that tell you of likelihood the staff gets hands clean?! Sure, they may have a kitchen sink for that purpose, but a bathroom in this state sends a bad cleanliness message. If the owner can afford shares of racehorses, surely he could afford to upkeep this place better. It has good potential in a good location.

We knew they had early hours and got there in time. So glad we did! We went in thinking breakfast. Then read the menu. It was quite difficult to narrow down what to order. After the servers third check on our table I finally had my order ready. I got the Spice Island Chicken. Not spicy but big and good. And messy. I'm full! I would definitely get something else next time but it was ok. She got half order home fries and a half order biscuits and gravy. Stacked em. It was good. She said she'd order it again. So many possibilities here, we will definitely be back!

Went here for breakfast. The service was good and the food was delicious. There was a little wait for a table. The lace seems small but the food was good. You get huge portions for a great price. The ambience is that of a family restaurant.

The Brunch club is one happening breakfast and lunch joint in downtown Dayton. Just south of 35, it's small, it's local and it delivers one delicious punch. The menu is packed with all the good breakfast goodness you can think of. It's your typical breakfast place, nothing fancy (cool decor), but has all the goods, don't expect First Watch, expect your local greasy spoon that everyone loves when that going out for breakfast craving comes the brunch club will be waiting. Everything was cooked great, the chicken and waffles were good, was caught off by the chicken being chicken tenders (but we all love tenders, right?) was expecting something with a little more quality, but that is brunch club, basic, simple but with great service and plenty of goodness to choose from.

Good value, tasty diner food. I had the corned beef hash. Crispy, savory hash. Beautiful over medium eggs. Fresh, delicious muffin. Sizeable portion. Greasy-spoon diner feel. Efficient service.

My wife and I stopped in here today after an appointment we had downtown. This place is the perfect breakfast / brunch spot! My wife and I both had the Belgian Waffle and sausage breakfast plates. One word, WOW! Our server, Amanda, was just as sweet as she could be! I even had a chance to say hello to the owner who was working his tail off like everyone else. I highly recommend you stop in if you get the chance. You wont be sorry! Five star service all day!

The food at this place is insane, I've been many times and every time I eat here it just gets better and raises my standards for other restaurants. They have two full sides of menu, and there's not a single dud. Their burritos are flavorful and perfectly curated, their pancakes are sweet and huge, and their chicken makes me understand why people explode to 500 pounds. I could go on forever. The service in this establishment is so excellent. The waitresses are super kind and fun, as well as helpful. So glad I did ... it would be easy to become a regular if I lived 250 miles closer. The parking lot was crowded. Lots of people waiting for tables, but I found a seat at the counter. Service was friendly and instantaneous. My Reuben was perfectly grilled on a flat top and appropriately greasy. The corned beef was coarsely shredded and also grilled to perfection. Ditto the Swiss cheese. My only complaint? I like my sauerkraut to have serious tangy kick and this sauerkraut was Ohio-mild. The ambiance has a bit of a rural farmhouse vibe. The others seated at the counter were friendly and chatty. The dining room and restroom were both clean. Will I return? Yes!

Every time we visit, the food is always delicious and the coffee is always spot on. We always leave satisfied. Dishes that we've gotten that I can remember: cowboy bennys, pancakes (plain, chocolate chip and blueberry), omelets, French toast, & muffins. All very simple meals, but worth the trip. Customer service is 10/10. Everyone is so nice! There is ample parking. It is much better compared to their previous location, that's for sure. Things to note: the wait can be long! If you go early enough, go on a random day or call ahead to get on their wait list, then the wait won't be as long.

The decor looked more drab and like a diner than I expected. I assumed it would be more like the other hip, upscale restaurants in the Oregon District. We started with cocktails, an espresso martini and an old fashioned, that were very good...my husband commented that it was one of the best old fashions he's had in a while. We then ordered 3 small plates from their Happy Hour menu to share. The shrimp and grits were tasty but only 2 shrimp, even for a small plate, seems skimpy. The charcuterie was some grilled bread, a very small amount of cheddar cheese and sliced salami, some jam, and "pickled vegetables" which were grated carrots and two slices of jalapeno in a condiment cup. The poutine was just odd. Instead of a beef gravy and cheese curds on top of fries, it was deconstructed: a bowl of gray mushroom gravy with a small pile of fries and fried cheese curds. Overall, it was a decent meal and the server was good, but I wouldn't choose it above any of the other restaurants in the area.
