Wanted to love This Guy's Coffee, and maybe the coffee is good, but the non coffee choices? Unpalatable. After chatting a bit with the baristas, who were very nice and kinda clueless about the product, I settled on a strawberry matcha, as there was no way to make the chai less sweet ("it's a powder") and they said it was pretty sweet. Well, the matcha is some weird syrup? This did not have strawberries in it, like literally ever other matcha I've had. So I guess they put strawberry syrup? This tasted like neither matcha nor strawberry, closer to chewing gum in flavor. I tried to drink it, but after a few sips, threw it out. The best part about this place was the interior, it looked quiet and cozy, with a fireplace and seating hiding in the back. So, if you are looking for matcha, look elsewhere! read more

This is still one of my favorite coffee shops around. I have never had anything bad and always great service. Parking is fine it is shared with multiple other businesses and limited but they also offer a drive thru which makes it much better. The inside is super cute and they offer free wifi. Few recommendations highlander grogg is my go too. They don't offer it everyday but it's sometimes the flavor of the day. So smooth and has hints of Carmel flavoring sooo good. Love finding local favorites! I pass this shop everyday on my daily route and it's always packed. Which to me, means it must be good. Decided to stop by today since it was less packed than usual. 1st time I've been here as I was told this was better than where we normally go to so figured I'd stop and give it a try. I got my normal caramel macchiato and the lovely Mrs for her soy chai tea. They were both very tasty and you could tell they take pride in their work. Upon entering the lovey storefront you are greeted by a couple very nice folks and were very friendly when asking the gazillion questions I tend to ask. Drinks were done in short order, then off to the house where the lovely Mrs was. My 1st sip was very pleasant and very sweet. I tried the soy chai and it had a nice creamy flavor that I actually liked better than her normal chai tea. They have outside seating with umbrellas so you could stick around and just enjoy the time outside. Outdoor seating also means you could bring your pet to join you on the patio. read more

Found a lovely, new favorite Mom & Pop shop right in my hometown backyard. I tried the snickerdoodle latte and with the advice of the barista, I didn't want it too sweet so she suggested I get 1/2 flavor, which was a great recommendation! I love a barista that is honest, great with suggestions and personable. The latte was delicious and was a perfect balance of sweetness. I love the decorations and environment of this coffee shop and would love to come back here to study and sip on coffee & try a bakery item! Tucked away on a quiet but (in my opinion) nicely designed business street in Springboro with a Kroger nearby and more shopping in either direction, so it fits right into my weekday plans and also helps me stay on pace as I read and read for my classes, then have the easy option to get groceries on my way home. Their food is really well done! Bakery items in a pretty case, lots of GF options if that's you. The free internet is so reliable, very appreciated, and even despite being a smallish/medium sized shop, it has a great this great deep curved layout with plenty of cozy options for hiding away and letting it all go in that moment of comfort: the first sip. They have smoothies too, with options for health nerds. (Me.) Highly recommended. I'd go out of my way for this one. read more

I usually come here and it's fine. Today was a horrible experience. I waited 20 min just to get three cold egg sandwiches. Is it really that hard to heat up premade sandwiches? Stopped in for a study break. I had the islanders latte which is toffee, white chocolate, and I believe macadamia. It was very good and not overly sweet. I do wish it was in a cute non-disposable glasswear. I don't recall her asking me if it was for here or to go but with my groggy after class brain she very well could have. This is the perfect place to study. Much less of a crowd than Starbucks. They had WiFi and if you have spectrum they also had their WiFi. They took Apple Pay. When you order a drink and you question what you're getting they get a nasty attitude (especially one of the boys that work there).
