    Blob of powder under sunlight
    Jonathan L.

Stopped by to get a quote and was quoted $135 to get a bike frame and fork powder coated with a 2 layer candy red with silver. Came back 2 weeks later to drop off my vintage bianchi frame and fork and the gentleman that helped me said pricing is up to the guy who i believe is the owner that sits in the front named Leandro. I left it over night to wait for a call the following morning. Received a call morning and was quoted $150. I said "2 weeks ago i walked in and you quoted me $135". Leandro began to explain and gave me a run around and finally said okay, I will do it for $135. I knew I could get it done cheaper else where, but central powder coating is right down the street from my office. I agreed to let him proceed with powdering coating my frame and fork for $135. Received a call next day that my frame and fork is ready for pick up. Went to pick up and the frame and fork was wrapped up in a nice plastic bag. He feared a section of the bag to show me the color, I was pleased with it. Here begins 1 of 2 things that central powder coating will NEVER earn my business again. Every please be aware. Time to pay, and it's $147. I said I was quoted $135 and so I brought $135 in cash. Leandro said there is taxes involved. In my mind I'm thinking I have never paid taxes on services before. I told him I only have $135 and he asked me to use my credit card. I refused. He saw I had some change and asked how much do I have in my wallet. I had $142. He said give me that and call it even. Nice way to do business! 2nd thing begins when I bring it back to my office to start assembling the bike. Powder coat was sprayed on ALL the threads on the bike! Making it impossible to install my bottom bracket. Luckily I was able to save the threads for my bottle cage, derailleur hanger, and rear rack mount tabs. Because my bottom bracket was a thread type, I was unable to install what I had initially planned, and so I installed a thread less type bottom bracket. Also upon examination of the completed frame, a huge blob of powder coat on the head tube. There are many powder coating companies in Orange County who will and can do a much better job and cheaper than this place. Beware! You have been warned. I hate giving 1 star reviews, but in this day and age, customer service AND quality work goes a long way! Luckily I did not spend a ton of money on the bianchi frame set because it is partially ruined in the bottom bracket.

They look great with new powder coat. Last another 10 years

These guys are great! They did an awesome rush job on our stair railings. Highly recommended and fairly priced. Thank you CPC!

Had a great experience with a silver powder coat on a set of 2005 Camry 16" factory wheels…read more I got a set of throwaway wheels on Facebook Marketplace intended as a gift for my mom's old car. The wheels were in pretty bad cosmetic shape - dings, scratches, brake dust everywhere, peeling paint galore, and some pitting on the back for one of them. After Proper Motion finished my powder coat they came out spectacular. You can also clearly see all the factory Toyota markings on the back despite the years of obvious neglect. The worst wheel still had some of the pitting come through only in the back, but that was the original wheel's problem so kind of expected for a 21-year-old wheel. I didn't ask them to file it down (which would've removed probably too much material), so I'm still thrilled with the final results. I guess I visited their newer shop in Sante Fe Springs. They had a clean and neat front lobby and a cozy waiting lounge with couches. I just dropped off the wheels, so didn't get to take full advantage of the lobby. I asked for pricing over the phone before coming, and once I arrived everything was still as quoted, even with the poor condition of my wheels. They had lots of sample swatches and a few miniature wheels as demos, but I wanted a lighter silver to match the factory paint. They were super helpful and special-ordered the matching powder / paint for no additional cost. I just had to wait a few days for the order. Overall would highly recommend.

Really disappointed in this shop. Took my car for gloss black and when I got it back i noticed…read moreright away 2 rims had orange peel. Don't know if they even inspected it before installing so had to make an appointment to get them redone. Then it took them longer to get 2 rims done compared to when they did all 4 . And when I got it back for the second time I then noticed it was missing the weights on one rim. Again no inspection just excuses and no apologies or compensation. On top of that they ignored my text where I said I was missing weights so I just pulled up. Would not recommend this crappy shop

From the moment I pulled in, the difference was night and day. The place was busy, but they clearly knew how to prioritize the work so that a quick tire repair didn't require a two-hour wait. The manager greeted me right away, listened to my concern, and immediately had a technician help with my girlfriend's tire. The technician was skilled, fast, and professional. In about 10 minutes, the tire was repaired, all four tires were checked for proper air pressure, and the total was only $20. That kind of honest, efficient, and friendly service is rare these days. Salinas Tires & Wheels didn't just fix a tire--they restored my confidence in what great local service should feel like. Fast, honest, affordable, and professional. Why would I go anywhere else?

If I could give 0 stars, I would…read more I brought my 2025 Toyota RAV4 to Salina's Tire Repair because one of my tires was showing low PSI. The employee told me there was a nail in the tire, repaired it, and assured me it was fixed and that I wouldn't have any more problems. Exactly one week later, my tire was low again. I took my vehicle to another tire shop for a second opinion. They repaired the tire while I watched and showed me that Salina's had only inserted a plug where the nail was instead of performing a proper repair. I was shocked. I trusted them to fix my tire correctly, but instead they sent me back on the road with a temporary fix while telling me everything was fine. This isn't just poor workmanship, it's a serious safety issue. When you take your car to a repair shop, you expect honesty and quality work, not shortcuts that could put you and your family at risk. I feel completely misled and will never return. If you value your safety and want a shop that stands behind its work, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Reply to Santa Ana's reply…read more Why did SA say they sent me another wheel before I filed the report with eBay? How about the check that was never sent to me? How about the Zelle that never happened? There are photos and proof on the google reviews that show you do this to a lot of customers. How about refunding my $600+ purchase since you have my money and the wrong wheel you sent me? How about posting the tracking from the second wheel SA supposedly sent me? Your lies are probably costing you a lot more money than doing the right thing. Go read the google reviews with photos. I would be real careful doing business with this company. It seems it's been lie after lie with them. I finally had to file a complaint with The Attorney General's office. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Santa+Ana+Wheel+-+OEM+RIM+SHOP/@33.8551649,-117.8938506,17z/data=!4m8!3m7!1s0x80dcd66f98ce3461:0x95b15a0558113411!8m2!3d33.8551649!4d-117.8912757!9m1!1b1!16s%2Fg%2F1tjv3tlq?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDQxMi4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D I purchased a front Mercedes AMG wheel on Dec 8th from Santa Ana Wheel on eBay. The wheel they sent me was a different wheel that didn't fit the vehicle. I reached out to them via EBay Messenger and they stated they would send the right one and to ship the wheel back with their packing slip. They never sent a second wheel and couldn't provide any tracking info. I reached out to eBay about the situation which they required a waiting period for refund which had passed with the exchange process happening. After being told the second wheel was shipped and asking for a tracking number several times, no wheel was shipped. I asked for a refund from them on March 23rd and was told a check would be mailed to me by Joanne via private message with eBay. The check never arrived and I called and spoke to Jasmine who stated they would Zelle me the money. I sent the Zelle info over and still have not received any refund.
