Saw these good reviews so I gave them a call. Man am I glad I did, Tony and his crew do excellent work. I'm very pleased with the SAME DAY work! Dropped the car off in the early morning to get my Wheels and calipers painted and picked up in the late afternoon, everything came out great. Great prices, great customer service, and great communication! Best part was you can take your car and drop it off instead of most places where they ask you to bring the wheels / calipers off your vehicle. Thanks again Tony we'll be back!

Heard about Jesse's extremely competitive pricing on his powdercoating jobs from a close friend and decided to check him out. I contacted him via text message and he responded back to me with astonishing speed. He doesn't lag at all. I told him that I'd like to powdercoat my black rims to gold and he gave me many picture samples of what his past customers have done. From the pictures, the quality of each job was exceptional. He also showed me a well done powdercoat job on a set of wheels he just finished that day. I'm still in shock at how low his prices were for the jobs he does. The powdercoats that he uses is off of Prismatic Powders, which has an enormous selection of colors. After deciding on a color, I only had to make a deposit enough to cover the powdercoat powder from the site. Jesse estimated that he could get my rims powdercoated within 2-3 days. Very, very fast service. The wheels were done incredibly well when I came to pick them up. I would definitely come back for future jobs! Also, while I was in his shop on the first day, I noticed some AR15 parts on his desk and asked if he also does finishes on firearms. He told me he did. I will also be coming to him to get my AR15 refinished in the future and give another review for that.

Buyer beware. I really gave it an effort to try to give Tony a chance to make things right. I had my rims on my Tesla done, and all the powder coat started peeling off because he did not prep the rims correctly. He didn't remove the original coating. He just did a quick sandblast and powder coated over it, so the powder coat didn't bond correctly. I asked him several times to fix the problem. I scheduled multiple appointments with him. He doesn't return calls or texts. When I finally did get a scheduled appointment for repair, I showed up, and he said he couldn't do it because he just thought it was going to be one rim, but all of them were peeling. He told me to remove the rims myself and bring him the rims, and he'll have it fixed. I clearly don't have a place to put my car on Block and bring him the rims. He knew this, just to avoid standing behind his product. I highly recommend you find someone else. This fly-by-night one-man shop is a terrible company to put your faith in. read more

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to Tony Banda Superior Metal Finishing in Fullerton!!! Did a great job on my wheels! The Finish is Stealth Chrome done in PVD coating (Physcial Vapor Deposition). Benefits of PVD are they last longer than traditional powdercoating or chroming (5 year warranty) and more scratch/corrosion resistant. They also use less heat in the process (only about 150 degrees compared to traditional powdercoating which is over 300 degrees.) protecting your forged wheels from metal fatigue. Lastly the finish on PVD is more vibrant than powdercoating. He even went out of the way to fix a minor dent and did all the work in a timely fashion. Terrible customer service, took him various parts for my impala and promised to do work and gave me the run around for almost 5 months, finally tells me the parts are at the chrome shop then proceeds to tell me the next day to pick up my parts and he couldnt do the work, he never touched them, sat at his shop and just collected dust. Too bad, i had alot of work for him to do for me and some friends. Would have given 0 stars but no option for it. Tony u suck bro, thats how u treat friends of ur friends? read more

I met Tony at his shop to discuss plating/anodizing 2 wheel chairs and their parts. He was very nice while showing me around the shop. He did not have any samples of different finishes that he could do. He said that he would make some over the weekend to show me and future customers. I was very excited to start this project. His reviews seemed great. I have left 4 messages all with my phone number. Not once did he call back. I can't trust my wheelchairs or my business with anyone who can't return a call. read more

The wheels were in pretty bad cosmetic shape - dings, scratches, brake dust everywhere, peeling paint galore, and some pitting on the back for one of them. After Proper Motion finished my powder coat they came out spectacular. You can also clearly see all the factory Toyota markings on the back despite the years of obvious neglect. The worst wheel still had some of the pitting come through only in the back, but that was the original wheel's problem so kind of expected for a 21-year-old wheel. I didn't ask them to file it down (which would've removed probably too much material), so I'm still thrilled with the final results. I guess I visited their newer shop in Sante Fe Springs. They had a clean and neat front lobby and a cozy waiting lounge with couches. I just dropped off the wheels, so didn't get to take full advantage of the lobby. I asked for pricing over the phone before coming, and once I arrived everything was still as quoted, even with the poor condition of my wheels. They had lots of sample swatches and a few miniature wheels as demos, but I wanted a lighter silver to match the factory paint. They were super helpful and special-ordered the matching powder / paint for no additional cost. I just had to wait a few days for the order. Overall would highly recommend.

I asked for a refund from them on March 23rd and was told a check would be mailed to me by Joanne via private message with eBay. The check never arrived and I called and spoke to Jasmine who stated they would Zelle me the money. I sent the Zelle info over and still have not received any refund.

I don't usually leave reviews but Tony saved my life by repairing the wheel I scraped on my husbands "baby". He took care of it right away and although I told my husband when he got home from work what happened, he never had to see the eyesore thanks to Tony's quick and awesome work.
