Friendly and reasonable price hooks you in but definitely NOT quality service or products. I bought a new radio, speakers, and four wheels and tires, you'd think I'd get taken care of. I can't say that I'm happy with any of their products or installations. I'm especially upset that they bamboozled me and gave me a damaged wheel. After installing it all, I had to go back because the radio would just go black and turn off on me. They said it was a wiring problem and they fixed it. Still happens now and then but I don't have time to go back anymore. I just deal. Same goes for the wheel. I went back because my ride was shaking whenever I hit a certain speed. I asked for an alignment, thinking it was that. They did the alignment but nothing fixed it. I don't know cars so I discovered that it was a balancing issue and because of a dented wheel they gave me. I only discovered when I went to a different shop to replace a tire. There I told them about my problem. They tried balancing the tires and moving the damaged one to the back. It still shakes but it's because of the damaged wheel that can't be fixed. This wears my tires down faster and I'm sure is affecting the overall wear and tear on my truck. Any place that is going to pull a fast one on a customer like this, doesn't deserve a quality rating. read more

I found them on FB Marketplace looking for a deal on BFG tires. Figured it was a small shop needing to move some old stock and there would be hidden fees or bait and switch. These guys are great. Large professional shop, lots of stock, large efficient experienced staff and they know their business. Tires, wheels, suspension, brakes and alignment. They are busy because they take a customer first attitude, their service is fantastic, and prices are great. Armando/ Antonio (can't remember-sorry) and Jorge, service writer/ service reps were great, helped in every way I asked including adding a fifth TPMS sensor for my spare and resetting locations. I'm 56 heavy equipment Tech for 35 years, raced Jeep-speed, King of Hammers and wish I heard of STW years ago. I've been to alot of shops that have done ok, mediocre work and have even priced shopped tires online. These guys get 5 stars on every count and I'm impressed by everyone's efforts. Next time I get a new truck I'll have them do it all; suspension, alignment and wheels instead of running around town. read more

Arrived at 8:30am....wheels were installed within the hour but had us waiting 6 hours for an alignment. Every time we asked for an update, we were told we were next. Ended up leaving closer to 3pm after they insisted the truck did not need the alignment after we had been waiting 4.5 hours already. Terrible customer service. read more

The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. I want to start by saying Thank you to George,Carlos and Hugo. Last week I started looking for a place to get tires and wheels for my 2000 Silverado. I spoke to Jorge and he quoted me over the phone. I decided to check it out today and because of the exceptional customer service and prices, I drove out of there with some new wheels and tires. Because of my timing I was going to be late to pick up my 6 year old son from school, I told Carlos I would come back, since they had already started working on my truck, Carlos handed me his keys and said "take my car". That showed me how family oriented this shop is. Because of the tires I bought, even though my truck is lifted, the tires rubbed, I drove around and they even sent the mechanic that was busy to drive with me to make sure they got it right. Had a great experience at Salinas Tires. After getting the runaround from a few other shops, being told they had certain rim and tire combos in stock, only to show up and find out they didn't and were trying to push something else, I was pretty over it. Got in touch with Brian and right from the start he was straight up. Told me exactly what he had, no games. When I got there, everything was exactly as he said it would be, which honestly was refreshing. While I was there I ended up upgrading the tires, and even then he kept it real no pressure, just gave me honest input so I could make the right call. On top of that, their pricing was better than any other shop I had been in contact with, which made the whole deal even better. Install was quick, everything came out clean, and the setup looks great. You can tell they know what they're doing and actually care about taking care of their customers. I recently found an advertisement by Salinas Wheels and Tires on OfferUp. They listed the Michelin Primary LTX for $159/tire. I called to inquire for an estimate and was quoted well over $600.00 for two tires. I referenced the OfferUp post and was placed on hold numerous times while they tried to reach the person handling posts. I was instructed to send over a text message with a screenshot of the post, which I did. A few minutes later, I was advised they could not match the price anymore and were sorry for the misleading price (see my picture). As a business, they need to be on top of their advertising posts and not be misleading. This false advertising is not the consumer's fault, and the business needs to take responsibility. What a shame. Consumers, please beware of the misleading prices on OfferUp. Their posts sound like a tactic to get your business and then switch the prices on you. read more

Came in to get some new tires for my dodge in the afternoon, called ahead of time to make sure they had my tires i was looking for ( toyo r888 ), told me it would take 30 min to get my tires at theyre local warehouse, i live 40 min away from them so by the time i got there my tires were there as well. Spoke to sal when i got there very friendly and great sales rep, knows what hes doing. Told me it would take about an hour to switch all 4 of my tires, better yet it only took them 45 min, very quick service. little waiting room they have inside where u can relax while ur vehicles being worked on, they also keep u updated while ur waiting. I have used Salinas Tire & Wheels for a long time. Jorge and his staff have always been helpful and the prices cannot be beat. I read the other reviews on here. Most were upset it took a long time??? I guess no one has been to Costco or other wholesale tire location. They take a little longer because THEY HAVE GREAT PRICES AND ARE VERY VERY POPULAR AND BUSY. After a 15 min wait to even get contact with the dude texting on his phone I asked for a tire to replace one of mine. They left and came back about 20 min later to ask what I was there for. Ok so Im already there and really need to replace this tire so I tell the guy again. He left and brought the complete wrong tire and size because it was what another customer there asked for. This is worry some. I asked for a manager and the guys said he was the owner. If thats how they run a store and treat their customers I could imagine the quality of what I was purchasing. I recently had the misfortune of visiting Salinas Tires in Whittier, and let me tell you, it was an absolute nightmare. The salesperson, Jessie, promised a quick 30-minute tire installation for my wife's car. After waiting over an hour, I discovered they hadn't even touched the vehicle! Been going here for years and have always been helped by Sal, I recently moved to Victorville and have tried local shops in the area and was disappointed. I was then reminded how great the service is at Salina's Tires. I do not mind the extra drive due to the exceptional service from Sal. They get you in and out quickly. A few months…read moreafter install, I was forced to purchase new brakes as well as rotors, since placement of recently installed brakes (at Imperial Tires) screwed them up. The cherry on top is that the shop has filed for bankruptcy (according to new tenant tire shop) and therefore, I cannot get money back or access any warranty coverage. And I've had a tire light on my dashboard since the brake and new tire install at this shop. He was never able to clear it. Really unhappy with this whole experience

They will make you sit in the car, make it super straight and perfect and even let you drive it before you pay them. After 15 minutes, my car is perfectly aligned and super happy with the results. Yes, they do all nice cars but they also do regular cars and the crew there are super professional, won't make you feel like nobody and my alignment came out perfect for a 2012 Toyota Prius, yes it's not a fancy car that day but trust me I got 3 bat-mobiles in the garage and brining to here from now on.
