I had an additional 4x8 garden box full of daylilies they removed all but a 1 Sq ft plant in one corner. I had 2 varieties of iris that were just thrown out. I had a miniature crepe myrtle that was ripped out. I had a small crepe myrtle next to a larger older one that was ripped out. I had a variegated yucca that was removed.As well as other plants. It would take me at least $500 to replace what they removed with just 1 of each variety they threw out let alone have something of the size they removed.i don't think they know plants Unless they think if it doesn't come from home depot it needs to be destroyed. Matter of fact, the crew went above and beyond on the cleanup. From dealing with Karen to the men who came on the property to perform the work. Great service all around. Was it the lowest price? No, but I never tend to buy low bid for something that involves danger to my property, the people working, or my neighbor's property. All the estimates were within 10% of one another, for whatever that is worth. Already talking with American Landscaping for our next project!

For this snow storm (1/6/25)- the plows were spinning tired with older trucks (bad tires and weight) and we saw the plows raised to not get the snow on the street leaving those parked in their driveways trapped. In the summer - the boundaries that were once handled with mowing and landscaping are now neglected. The owner and contractors have gone down hill despite being great before (maybe because we had a fellow owner employed there). I do not recommend to contract with them on a large scale. It has become a shell of a company. Look at other alternatives that respond and have an owner that acknowledges wrongs. Don't go based on references...just look at the surrounding neighborhoods that do not use them - clean and safe!

We had a big Chestnut oak tree in our back yard that had started dying last year. It had really…read morewide, spreading branches and a thick trunk. It was also located at the top of a bank that leads down to a creek, so the location was tricky. We obtained four estimates before starting our project. Caliber exceeded the other tree companies in every way. Their proposal was professional, specific, and detailed, and they provided information about their licensing and insurance. Both Tim and Julian were very responsive to questions. We had some limitations about where they could go on the property with the heavy equipment, because of the location of our septic field. They put down mats and did their best to minimize the impact of their work on the yard. They used two crews so there were eight men working at once, but they coordinated their efforts so well, and every person was friendly and helpful. They chipped branches and hauled away all the huge trunk sections. I would recommend them very highly for more complicated jobs.
