Wonderful customer service they really tailored everything to my needs. Easy fast experience and I love the fact that it is family operated.

We stumbled across this little place on our way into Austin to visit some of the big car…read moredealerships there after our trusty minivan died. We pulled into the small lot on a rainy Saturday morning, to be greeted a minute or two after we clambered out of the car by Brian, the flip-flop clad owner of the place. He joked around pleasantly with us as I told him what we were looking for. After providing some peanut M&Ms for my hungry wife, he showed us a nice Mercury Villager that was already in our price range, ran a copy of my license, and tossed me the keys. We took it for a spin and quite liked it. On our return, he said "I've been sharpening up my pencil, and wanted to tell you the best price I can manage on this van," and quoted us a figure substantially below the already reasonable price. We told him we had a few more places to visit that day, but that we'd definitely keep it in mind. "I'll warn you, as you go further into Austin, the prices get higher and the salesmen get more obnoxious!" He then printed out the info sheet for the van, gave it to us along with his lower price, and cheerily sent us on our way. His parting words proved to be prophetic. We didn't find any deals in Austin that compared favorably to the price he quoted us, and certainly didn't find anyone as agreeable to work with. We dropped back by later than afternoon to take the van around the block again. "While you're out, could you put some gas in it for me? Here's a $20." We decided to buy the van, write Brian a check, and were on our way with a good van and no hassle. The only thing that was a little disappointing, though understandable, is that Brian wasn't comfortable having us take the van down to San Marcos to our mechanic. He was happy to offer the number of an independent inspector and to call the local Firestone garage for us, though, so we had options that were almost as good. All in all, we really appreciated the experience, and will likely start our next car search there

If you don't like high pressure sales techniques, hidden fees, tricks etc. this is the place to go. They were friendly and down to earth. This is the first time I've ever dealt with a dealership, where I'd like to go back and just chat with them...Would definitely use them again.

The Toyota CPO Required "Option"…read more I recently attempted to purchase a used 2026 Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter ($58,300) from this dealership. We agreed on a price and I was able to secure a loan from my credit union at a good interest rate. Since I live in Dallas, I had to wait till the weekend to drive in, test drive and make the purchase. I didn't want to get blindsided with some unknown fees at the last minute or during the finance process so I stayed in communication with the sales guy the whole week and I had him verify the sales bottom line + TTL. I had everything ready but the day before I was to drive in, the finance & sales guy (the same guy I stayed in communication with the entire week) were trying to sneak in the Toyota Certified Pre-Owned cert "option" for $1,995.00. They said it was "optional" but when I told them I didn't want the Toyota CPO they both said I had to get it. It would either be rolled into their financing or if I used my credit union's financing, I was going to have to pay for it. I then said: "So it's not optional then - this is required?" They responded with: "No, it's optional." I was confused so I tried to get clarification - they kept saying it was "optional" but I was going to have to pay for the CPO someway otherwise they would not sell me the truck. Their logic drove me nuts. They didn't seem to understand the meaning of "optional" - so I told them I wasn't buying the truck. I walked away from the deal and would caution others to get everything in writing before making the trip.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!…read more 2 or 3 years ago, my husband and I came in looking for a car, because my Honda was crapping out on us too much, to where we were spending all our money fixing it. We came here, and the sales guy was very nice and understanding- he helped us pick out something we could afford. I wasn't too thrilled that I was going from a badass looking Honda to a mazda minivan, but hey.. we have kids.. it's appropriate I guess. Anyways as time went on, whenever something unexpected happened and payments couldn't be made in full on time, they were always genuinely understanding and willing to let us make arrangements. Their staff is extremely friendly and even when my husband or I go in to make payments we're greeted cheerfully. There was actually a point in time where our vehicle was "borrowed" from a family member for about 6 months, in which it wasn't cared for properly nor maintenanced. Just last week the engine was chugging a lot, to where I was scared to drive it with my tots in there with me. THEN the ac went out. We had called to ask about it, and were told that there is a warranty under a certain amount of milage. So we took it in last week, and found out that basically the engine is no good and that unfortunately we were over the milage requirement to get it fixed free of charge. I was really freaked out because it's the only car we have, it's very hot outside, and I work way out at the Hill Country Galleria.. but these people at Sames turned around and said they will fix it for FREE! So now all we have to do is wait. I am SO grateful for them, it's nice to see a company that truly does care for their customers. I recommend them to anybody, I even have a friend who's already in the process of getting her vehicle there! (: I'm happy we showed up that rainy day those few years ago! Thank you Sames!!!!!

WARNING: Worst Car Buying Experience!…read more This has been the absolute worst experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle. First, the transmission failed--$5,500 out of pocket, of course, right after the warranty expired. Then, I had an engine issue that cost me another $2,000. Not even two months later, the entire engine failed, setting me back an additional $4,600. I've always maintained the car properly, changing the oil regularly, and even the mechanics confirmed that this wasn't due to anything I did. Yet, here I am, still stuck with two more years of payments on this terrible 2017 Dodge Journey. If I could, I'd drive it straight into their office! Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this dealership. You'll regret ever doing business with them! STAY AWAY!

I feel like I got a good deal on my purchase, probably could have negotiated more but it seemed fair and I needed a vehicle stat. Vehicle had some issues that eventually I figured out how to solve on my own in their parking lot. Their car detail service sucks. I feel that it should be better where they get in between the seats and wipe down the interior including the windows, I was just really let down they said it would look new. They proved to me that if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. I'm the kind of person that would give exceptional service to any of my clients regardless, but in this case especially if they were making a large purchase. I'd go above and beyond and make sure that all my departments offer top notch service. That's how you get client retention. They seemed only willing to help or do their best as long as I promised to buy, or buy again from them. Dimitri is awesome though. He was literally the only good thing about my experience. I think he did the best he could, and went above and beyond as far as he could. He deserves a raise. Overall, my general feeling about this place is they are a bit shady and it sounds like everyone is afraid of the GM. ‍ P.s. I named my car after the GMs wife, (that's a whole story from my experience all on its own) It suits my vehicle and my pettiness knows no bounds.
