Adj: Affirming and Attentive…read more My little one (not so little, haha) enrolled in this soccer academy for about a school year and enjoyed learning the game and playing soccer with Ole (pronounced O-lay, not "ole" as in Old). Coach Marcos is a caring coach who's very experienced as he played soccer from his childhood in Brazil. He's an encouraging and motivational teacher. He does a lot of drills, exercises, and short games/scrimmages with his students and kids love these. Well, maybe not the sit ups, push ups, and running back and forth for when he's strength training them which is very important and necessary. He travels up to Elk Grove once a week and that's where my child learned/played soccer w/Coach Marcos. Unfortunately, enrollment has been going down in this area so that he only had Elk Grove morning classes/practices available this school year, and that did not work with our schedule, so we couldn't enroll this time, but maybe we'll go back and have my son play soccer w/Ole again if/when our schedule works out. In any case, this is NOT a league, it's more like a soccer school to teach the children the basic rules, skills, strategies, etc. so it's a very different experience. We prefer it, and there are games, although just one game a season per location (Ole has several locations throughout NorCal, mostly in Stockton, Manteca, and the South Bay and only Elk Grove in the Sac metro), although we're allowed to join the tournaments at other locations, just have to drive ourselves there. Overall, my son had a good time and learned quite a bit from Ole Soccer which was an affirming and attentive academy. Cyndie was able to manage her AND teach her. She also helped her love swimming. So much that she actually agreed to join our local swim team this year without all the normal resistance that we usually get when we suggest new activities. That is a HUGE win in my book, only made possible by Cyndie. Cyndie is respectful of MY time and my investment. She starts every lesson time and gives my daughter focused attention during the whole lesson. Her online scheduling was easy, quick, and clear, accommodating my hectic summer schedule. The price honestly took me back. More than any other swim teachers I've done with my others kids. As I think of my 2 other kids swim lessons, they spent much of the lesson trying to convince them to get into the cold pool, and managing their shivers. Cyndie HEATS her pool. (And as a PG and E customer and pool owner, I KNOW this is not cheap $$$) What I also know is, warm water equals quicker learning and more success. And that is what Lodi Swim Training has provided my daughter, Success and a love for swimming.

The classroom theme of the room was fantastic. My friends and I are grad students and we found it challenging, but totally doable. It was pretty exhilarating and you definitely have to think outside of the box. You're allowed to ask her for help if your group gets stuck (she gives you 5 clues max). We solved it with a minute 30 to spare, and it was literally the greatest feeling in the world. Definitely worth the money for a group of 4-7 of your friends. Can't wait for her to make more!
