Rarely do I write long reviews but I thought I would share the awesome experience I had recently with Central Vermont Motorcycle (CVM). They are a new vendor for me (I typically only play with Kubota farm equipment) but I had a Ski-Doo sled that I wasn't using that much and wanted to trade it in for an all-season ATV (with tracks). The "local" (1-1/2hr North of where I live) Ski-Doo dealer that I purchased the sled from was simply not interesed in my business so I contacted CVM (they are 1-1/2hrs West from me). They are a BRP (Ski-Doo, Can-AM) dealer as well. CVM gave me a great price for my sled (way better than the trade-in amount from the dealer that I purchased it from). CVM gave me a great price on a used Can-Am ATV with new CAMSO tracks. Prepurchase and pickup matters with CVM were awesome. Unfortunately, when I got home -- I had an immediate failure with my ATV - it died while refueling. I contacted CVM immediately (it was the weekend) and they could not have been more helpful. I suspected bad fuel but also discussed other possible fuel delivery problems -- fuel pump, filters, etc -- with the general manager, some service guys, and my sales contact (via email and phone) I did a bunch of troubleshooting on my own (besides swearing and kicking) but the machine was exhibiting all the symptoms of bad fuel. Next business day, CVM came and picked up my ATV, fixed everything in one day (turned out to be A LOT of water in the fuel -- me bad), and returned my machine the next - they split the labor with me, and replaced some parts for free. They had at least 6hrs of transport time (2 rounds trips) and a full day of service and repair; they charged me less than $300 for a problem that was completely my fault. I have spent time looking at helmets, taking them off the shelf, etc. Not once did anyone ever ask if I needed help or had any questions. Everytime I went in I was never greeted or acknowledged. Very underwhelmed by a recent sales experience. This was my first time in to CVM. I was looking to buy a side-by-side UTV and they're now the only game in town for Polaris, CanAm and Honda. I ultimately purchased a six-seat CanAm Defender. I did the paperwork for the financing at the shop and delivery was promised the following Saturday, seven days hence. The first issue was when I got an e-mail from the Finance Manager saying that the paperwork had been done incorrectly (they did not add the pricing for the optional add-on's) and I would have to do it again. This was done entirely by e-mail. Hey, mistakes happen. When Thursday rolled around, having not heard from CVM to confirm delivery for that Saturday, I called them and spoke to Jeremy. He assured me that we were all set a Saturday delivery btwn 10 and 11. On Saturday morning at around 10, my phone rings: it was Jeremey telling me that because two add-on items had yet to be delivered to the shop, they would not be able to make that days delivery. I asked how he did not know this when I called on Thursday but he did not have an answer. Living out of state, I had travelled specifically to my place in VT to take delivery. The CamAm was eventually delivered the following Friday and for the inconvenience, I was given my first service free. Long story short, I had higher expectations but have also learned that screw-ups like this are par for the course in the Green Mountain State. Contacted them about repair of my older ATV. They were very uninterested in working on it, saying that they preferred working on newer models and had a lot of work on newer models to do. There pick up and delivery charge also would be twice the cost I routinely pay to have my ride on mower serviced. read more

We recently purchased a snowmobile from CVM. I found them to be very helpful throughout the process. We knew nothing about snowmobiles, so they assisted us with selecting the right model for our purposes. We dealt with Jeremy and Dominick and both were great. AJ who delivered our sled was awesome. Place is a total Disappointment everything is overpriced and then if you get your four Wheeler or snowmobile worked on they charge you an arm and a leg in them and honest about anything instead of getting my four wheeler tuned up and fix like they were supposed to over two weeks brand I didn't get a call for three months until I called them repeatedly telling them I will be in with the lawyer because I can't get a call back to get my machine and then the guy tells me oh we're sorry your motor is seized and if you want your machine back you can pay $1500 to have it fixed and that's half of what it would've been for the whole motor job they saidJust a bunch of con artist on skilled retards that they hire off the street and half the reviews on their site it's from their own workers are family relatives so they even lie about the reviews online sad when you can't have a good ATV company around in there the only choice luckily just found Pete's pro cycles and he seems like a way better shop to deal with actually now what there talking about read more

Stopped in to look at a potential purchase with husband. What a large showroom with a great inventory! Staff was helpful and more than willing to let him sit on and discuss any and all bikes he wanted as well as taking us into the back room to sit on the newest Ninja, that was already sold.
