I didn't know anything about the bike or what kind of work it might need--only that it wasn't worth a lot of money and that I didn't wanna spend a lot of money getting it going. Frank immediately came across as both knowledgeable and honest, so when he asked if I had a budget in mind, I wasn't weirded out and gave him my number. About a week after I dropped the moped off, Frank said it was ready for pick-up. The cost was less than half of what I was expecting to pay and the bike is running tip-top. The friend I presented it to was super stoked and seemed really impressed with Frank's work, which is probably a more valuable testimonial than my own. If I ever end up with a moto, I'll know where to take it.

When I dropped by Ben asked if I was going to wait. I said I could leave the bike and go run some errands, I even said they could take a day if needed because it was going to rain anyway. Five days later I call and it's still not done. They say they're sorry but busy and ask when I want it done...obviously quickly so I can ride. Seven days go by and I decided to just pick up the bike and go to Land Air in Essex to get it done quickly and right since it still wasn't done. I can't recommend these guys and won't use them now, their loss; wish they were just upfront and honest at the time. Feels wrong.

I've been a customer here for years without any major issues, which honestly makes this year's…read moreexperience even more disappointing. Back in the spring, it was already a struggle just to get someone to return a call. I gave them the benefit of the doubt--this is a busy time of year for motorcycle shops--but that should've been my first warning sign. When I finally brought my bike in for a routine inspection, oil change, and tune-up, the service went from mildly frustrating to completely unacceptable. Communication was practically nonexistent. Getting a simple status update felt like pulling teeth--calls went unanswered, and when I did get through, I was given vague or noncommittal answers. The worst part? The cost. I was given a quote, reviewed it, and approved the work based on that number. Two weeks later--after zero proactive updates--I went to pick up my bike and was handed a bill that was double the quoted price. Not slightly higher. Not due to a quick phone call to explain additional issues. Double. And at no point did anyone contact me to explain, get approval, or even give a heads-up that costs were increasing. That's not just poor customer service--that's a complete breakdown of basic business practices and trust. It's incredibly frustrating to see a shop that used to be reliable drop the ball so hard on communication, transparency, and accountability. Between the lack of responsiveness and the surprise charges, this experience has been enough to make me seriously reconsider ever coming back.

Thank you
