While exploring oconomowoc we went to brewfinity brewery. This is a hidden gem in oconomowoc, great atmosphere and great beer. Have to try their flag ship beer Jorge. Keep up the good work.

Thanks to Craig and the staff for making me feel welcome at my visit today. I visit craft breweries as a hobby & after 140+ breweries I can discern when the owners or brewers care about their brewery and patrons. I was greeted warmly at my visit today to their taproom and had an opportunity to try 6 samples of beers in a flight. Like all visits, I appreciate good Wi-Fi and brewery stickers. Brewfinity had both excellent free Wi-Fi accessed with password, as well as a free sticker upon request. I really liked the beers & all matched their descriptions well (they also gave small description cards that fit next to each sample on the board). The taproom itself was spacious with games and merch available. Additionally, they had a good snack menu that included all the normal things like large warm pretzels with mustard or cheese, as well as boneless wings with a variety of sauces. I had a pretzel and it met my hunger well. For the beers, I tried the jalapeño lager, several ales, their wit, a new kellerbeir, a quad and maibock. I was surprised at how smooth the jalapeño lager went down, as well as how pleasantly sweet the wit's after taste stayed with me. All the selections were good & satisfying. I left with some of the wit in one of my growlers. Craig and staff appeared to put real effort in to talking to and getting to know their patrons. Their beer reflected attention to taste profile, care, and sanitation. I wish all craft breweries were so personable and showed as much care for their patrons. While a little hard to find at first, I would strongly recommend a visit to sample and provide them positive patronage.

Fun stop. Tasting flight was very interesting. Guys behind the bar were great hosts and guides.

Have them another try at Oconomowoc fall festival. LaBelle Amber described as having a slightly "toasty" flavor. More like charred.

Great beer selection. Jalapeño beer and hazy IPA were my favorites. Cool space to hang. Kind of tricky to find but totally worth it.

The place is veteran owned and has a military flare to the decor. For our area, this is welcome and we have nothing like it. They also frequently have live music, and I do love me some live music. The service has been great both time I was there. I sat at the bar the first time and a table the second...just to make sure the service was great in both locations! Of course bar service is always faster because you are right in front of them, but I will say I did not have to wait at any point to sit, order, or pay. They were friendly and genuinely wanted to make sure everything tasted as good as it looked. When I go to places that run specials I am voted less likely to order off the menu and I have stuck with that philosophy with SteelTank. The first time I had a steak and shrimp pasta. It was so good I could not stop eating it. I ate nearly all of it and had zero regrets, but I was happy I had a few bites left to enjoy the next day. Second stop, Sausage & Pepperoni stuffed Bavarian pretzel. This pizza of the week is delicious! The pretzel is cut in half and stuffed and not hollowed out as most places do. You can see from the pictures it is stuffed and you can taste the pizza. Greens with a pizza you say? YES! So good, the vinaigrette dressing that is on that pretty little salad is making my mouth water as I type! Specials were not mentioned either time I went. The specials are posted on Facebook and that is how I knew about SteelTank and what I should order. That would be my only complaint, when you receive a menu patrons should be told what the specials are - or - post it somewhere so people know.

They also have different specialty cocktails throughout the year. -Cheese curds...I know, it's Wisconsin, but these are right up there with the elite. Cons: -I'll let you know when I find some. We've been to Crafty Cow several times over the last year, probably four or five times, and we've always been impressed by how friendly the waitstaff and bar staff are. The owner is also very nice and clearly involved, which I think is cool. I almost always order the same thing: the chicken strip meal, which comes with three huge strips and a large side of fries. The chicken here is really interesting because it's marinated in pickle brine. You can definitely taste the brine, and it adds something you didn't even realize was missing. My wife used to order the same thing, but now she tries something different each time because she knows she can share my strips. Everything she has tried has been good. Also worth mentioning: they have really good ranch dressing. I was surprised when I looked up Crafty Cow on Yelp and saw that it had less than four stars. Looking at some of the older reviews, I'm guessing it may have had a bit of a rocky start. But based on our experiences, Crafty Cow has been consistently great, and we'll definitely keep coming back.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Working with clients in Oconomowoc, I…read morerecently lunched at Crafty Cow Burgers & Fried Chicken; we had a terrific experience! The interior decor is very 'pub' like with expanses of dark wood and many art prints/framed works on the walls; there is a large bar in the front area with several tables/high-tops. In the back, the aesthetic is more 'industrial' with exposed brickwork and beams. We were greeted by the bartender (?) and seated immediately; our waitress brought us menus, reviewed the specials with us, and then brought our drinks. Crafty Cow specialises in 'craft' sodas and I enjoyed a very nice diet 'cola' drink with lemon; it was delicious. I ordered the chicken sandwich with the 'Nashville Hot' seasoning (because, hello, Nashville Hot) and it arrived piping hot with lots of shoe-string fries, also piping hot. The flavours were absolutely wonderful, full of contrast and balance. The 'heat' from the chicken was excellent; the chicken was plump and juicy, and had been perfectly breaded and fried. The slaw was also excellent: just the right balance of sweet and crunchy to offset the hot chicken. My clients and I enjoyed our visit to Crafty Cow Burgers & Fried Chicken and plan to return! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Compared to other German Markets it is still quite small but it was packed and I heard good things about it this year too. It's a great boost to the economy of such a pretty little town. Much of what you will find are jewelry, trinkets, handmade goods and soaps. But if you don't like what the Christmas market has to offer then feel free to visit the shops around town. Many of the shops ans bars actually had pop-ups in the upper floors that were selling goods too. Don't be afraid to ask or explore if you see other people milling around near stairwells. What made this one stand out, and wanting to come back, was the beer hall. Music, food, drinks, tons of strangers. It's not my normal cup of tea but it was definitely a reason to stay and warm up a bit. And once you've had enough of that, go outside, buy a cup of cocoa and sit by the fire or walk around town to take in the sites. It's really pretty at night. And, buy a giant pretzel when you go. And don't share it unless you have to. So good! Parking was the only issue I've had here. We ended up parking down near the courthouse I think, but be prepared to drive in a few circles looking for spots to open up. The walk is never too far but it can be a bit agonizing finding the perfect fit if you are awful at parallel parking like I am. From my experience prices are fair but look around at everything first unless there is a one of a kind item you must buy. Just like anywhere else, there are some multiples, so you can find a similar or same item for less at another booth - depending on how competitive the vendors are with pricing.

Quickly as possible, I took care of the situation and everything was fine until the owner standing in front of me asked me if I just pissed on his floor. I looked at him and said what and he said it again did you just piss on my floor I said no my zipper was down and I secured it and he then walked away, adding to the embarrassment of walking into a public establishment having my fly down. Now just the other day. I googled liqueur that I needed for a specific cocktail. And Flannery's came up. So I called and acquired about that specific item when I did this. His comment was well. I'm a liquor store and it's a liquor. That's why it came up. I don't carry it. So I guess I snapped back and said well there's another liquor store down the street and their name didn't come up and then he replied that's because I pay $160 a month that would be for search engine optimization those are not his words those are mine. In return, I responded, whoa spin the wheel, big spender. Then I thought he was going to hang up on me, but he didn't. He just responded. Good luck in your quest. All I have to say is reputation, goes a long ways as does word-of-mouth. You need to work on your customer skills because if I were an alcoholic which I'm not, and you were the last liquor store on the planet I would never drink again!
