I have used them about 4 times now to have shirts laundered and I have not had one issue. My shirts were available when they said and they did a good job. The people that work there were cordial and gave me good customer service. I was a little concerned about going here based on the reviews. The lady had me pay in advance for hemming ladies slacks.When I arrived to retrieve my pants they were not ready. i waited another hour and returned. She handed my my pants hemmed with a TicToc file and sew job. When I questioned her and told her I expected a professional job, she began hurling insults. She asked me if I was crazy. Then she began arguing to defend her work. I told her I would not accept the work. I told her I would give her more time to do a professional alteration. She refused, then said she would charge me double. She laughed and mocked me i front of the customers. I could tell she was trying to incite me. Instead I called the police!!! She started yelling why would you call the police? Are you crazy they are busy. I said I calling them because you were making fun of me, ridiculing me, and trying to insight me into an argument. You also said you were not gonna give me a refund that you were going to charge me. And you weren't going to fix my pants. The police came and she started arguing again. They just looked better and so did I. They said they were gonna go after she agreed to give me a refund so I told them I wanted her to give me a refund while they were there. They said if she doesn't give it to you then call us back, then I asked him to go and ask her how much it would take for her to give me back my pants and my refund. they ask her and 30 minutes later I got my refund and my pants back. She threw the money on the countertop and slung my pants across it. I ignored her. I realize she really had a problem. Bring only your cheap clothing like Walmart brand to this location. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!!!! DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! I recently moved to this area and a part of why I fell in love with this location is the shopping center that is located behind our house. The shopping center has everything that I need!!! However, I will never come to this cleaners again!!!! Friday I dropped my hunnies work uniform off to be cleaned and was instructed to come back Monday to pick up his things. Well giving them an extra day, I decided to stroll in on Tuesday & can you believe when I got there, all but 1 pair of pants was finished... The worker at the time of my pick up asked if I could give her a little more time bc one item wasn't finished...REALLY? You've had my items all weekend plus an extra day and 1 item is missing...??? A pair of pants! REALLY?? Sounds kind of fishy to me...so at this time it was about 4pm so I asked them how much time did they need?? because they close at 7... I went on and asked the lady if she could just call me when the pair of pants that were missing was ready. This lady had the nerve to say "we normally wouldn't do that. But this time we will make an exception for you." An exception for me! ALL of my articles were suppose to be finished and all but 1 piece was ready & you have the nerve to say "well make and exception for you?" REALLY! Like you didn't just misplace my hunnies pants! You have some nerve...BECAUSE THEY SHOULDVE BEEN READY WITH EVERYTHING ELSE! Then she stated "well we had to send them out because some of the stains that were in the pants were hard to get out. Now that really irritated my soul because the pants had no stains even on them! So giving them the benefit of the doubt I left- in hopes they were going to give me a call as soon as the pants were ready. Needless to say, I never received a call from them, so I called them Wednesday afternoon and this time I spoke to a different lady who told me they couldn't find my pants. REALLY!!!!! Smh... All this to say WE WILL NOT BE COMING HERE EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!! They didn't even offer to refund my money I spent on Wednesday when I picked up my other items! So my hunnie made his way here today and they decided to give him a refund! That's the least they can do since the idiots lost his pants and gave us a run around. I can't speak to their dry cleaning however, after reading the reviews I was VERY skeptical about even stepping foot in this place. I am glad I went to see for myself. I had a gown that literally was 4 sizes too big in the bust. I called in a panic because I needed this fixed in less than 24 hours. Not only were the accommodating and kind, she assured me that it was no biggy and I'd be taken care of. All I paid was $50 (compared to the quadruple that some were charging me to fix it). My husband and I have been taking clothes to Centre Cleaners since they opened years ago. Everything is always returned in pristine condition, super clean, and on time. I am typing this review with the hope that the owners realize they need to provide a quality service in this neighborhood. Unfortunately I ignored the documented warnings about this place. I went anyway, big waste of money and time. I rarely check my clothes but considering I saw marks on my clothes through the bag, I decided to further inspect. It looked as if my clothes were only ironed/ pressed. NOT CLEANED. The female owner insisted her husband was a professional and tried many times. Then I inspected the next garment. I have use this cleaners 2 times and the younger lady there is pleasant but the older lady was very rude to me. When I brought my clothes in I was explaining to her what I wanted to have done she begin holding the top of her head as if I was making her get a headache. I asked if she was ok and then She walked away from me as I spoke and went to the back of the store. When it was time for me to go to the dressing room to put the clothes on that I needed altered when i walked out she continued to sweep the floor while I stood waiting for her to begin helping me. Then she told me that one of my items would be $40. She suggested I but different pants. She continued to blow her breath and make sighing noises while helping me. It made me feel terrible. There was no respect by this older lady it was extreme rudeness. I couldn't believe that in my neighborhood we are subjected to that kind of treatment. They are very comfortable actually too comfortable and they know they will continue to get business because people like the convenience of the location. But I left feeling really upset. They said they'd try to get it out, I said ok. They couldn't get the stain out but I still had to pay $7 for them to "clean" my skirt but leave the stain. They're WAAYY over priced. We used this cleaner several times and paid a lot of money to them. We brought several items to them which were not ready on time. They used an iron on our velvet coat and left scorch marks on the coat. When we asked them what happened they accused us of lying and saying we caused the marks. We are vintage dealers and had never cleaned the coat to leave marks on it and were at risk of losing a $350 dollar sale. They were condescending and refused to fix the mistakes they made. When trying to get our items back they got physical. I pray no one uses this cleaner again. If they make a mistake they will blame you. read more

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! First of all, it's ridiculously expensive for nothing! I needed a summer dress dry cleaned. I could have just ironed it myself but it had been wrinkled all through the winter season and I wanted it to look extra crispy for a graduation that I had to attend. When the Hispanic girl at the register handed me my ticket, it said $14! I was so shocked! I told her that I changed my mind and would just iron the dress myself. As I turned to leave, she started yelling, "Gimme the ticket!" By the time I realized she was talking to me, she had yelled it three times. I turned around, picked up a ticket from the floor that I thought was mine and handed her both that ticket and my ticket, which was still in my hand. She took the ticket without apologizing for yelling at me, nor without saying thank you. SO RUDE!!! The Asian lady that does the tailoring was now standing beside the Hispanic girl and she just scowled at me as I turned to leave. EVEN MORE RUDE! I had never worn the sweater so it still had the tags on it. They ripped the tags off of my sweater without my consent. Who does that?! I am new to the neighborhood and was hoping to have a new cleaners location right by my house in the new Woodmore development. Worst decision I've ever made coming here. They lost my $160 Ralph Lauren dress shirt after multiple lies about It not being ready yet and needed extra time to get a stain out (there were no stains on my shirt)! This was my first time here and will definitely not come back I don't care how convenient they are to my home. Centre Cleaners has just recently opened. If you get there, you might be able to take advantage of their grand opening offering of 20% off your bill. The place is really nice that offers alterations as well. There's a little changing room and a small raised platform for alteration purposes. There are seats available for those waiting. So far, great service! I've had coats dry cleaned which I had to wait a week before they were ready. I had 2 pairs of jeans altered which gave me a waiting period of four or five days before they were ready. You're given a printed receipt that provides a date and time when your item(s) will be ready. I'll definitely come back since it is convenient when I go shopping at Wegman's or J.C. Never again! New to area and went into centre cleaners to get simple dress measurements like hips, waist etc for a dress I was ordering. Lady said, "it's $10 for dress measurements." I told her, "I was willing to pay and wasn't trying to be rude. Yet why was it so expensive for simple measurements?" Especially since her body language and long pause made it seem like she had made the price up. The lady was very loud and rude to me in front of several customers. Going on about how I was questioning store policy. Never answered the question. So I just walked out and took my business to a professional tailor. In recent months I have used this business several times spending hundreds of dollars. At my last visit, the clothes were not ready for pick up when promised. Not a huge deal. When we returned I noticed damage to an expensive article of clothing (scorch/circle marks steamed into the silk velvet). Instead of taking responsibility for the mistake we were accused of bringing the garment in that condition and called liars (literally) when we refuted the statement. Absolutely disgusting! This was the worst and most offensive customer service experience I have ever had. I left a Google review, which they responded to accusing me of defamation, denying any wrongdoing and stating that they don't work with businesses. More unaccountability, which only illustrates what I said in the first place. The customer service here is horrible and I do not recommend. The customer service is so awful/poor, and I can't find it in my heart to give a one-star rating. [ I am forced to give a one-star rating in order to post this comment.] Take it from me, this is not the place you want to spend your hard-earned dollars. I used this cleaner for years but when the new management took over (approximately 2018/2019), the customer service began to decline. Back in October 2021, I really had a bad experience with the rude lady that was always at the counter. I stop going to that cleaner because of her rudeness and nasty attitude. About six weeks ago, I passed the cleaner and noted that there was a different lady at the counter. She was very pleasant, and I informed her that I had been a customer at one time, and I also told her why I had left. She apologized. Today (May 19th) I went to the cleaner and there is now a different lady in there and she has a nasty attitude. I could not see spending any more money there, so I asked for the clothes that I signed in for dry cleaning. It is apparent that the business owners do not appreciate your and my dollars. Very clean, professional, & nice cleaners. It has a dressing room so if you need to have alterations the lady will assist you. I took a dress for a pageant I needed cut down and they did a wonderful job.
