I really appreciate the good service and maintenance in this apartment community. The staff has been helpful, and the property is generally well taken care of. As a mom of two kids, I also hope the community can consider adding a playground or kids' play area as one of the amenities. We currently have a large tennis court, but it rarely gets used for tennis. Most of the time, children in the community use the area as a play space instead, and some end up hanging on the nets, which can damage the court. A dedicated play area would be much more practical and enjoyable for families with children in the community. One small suggestion as well -- during the summer, it would be nice if the lights around the pool area stayed on more consistently at night for better visibility and safety. read more

Lived here for about 5 years .. back in 2019 I was paying $1050, the month I moved out I was paying $1700 which is CRAZY for the amount of space you get. Cons: maintenance doesn't upkeep the units. My sink was constantly leaking after supposedly being "fixed" .. to the point where my water bill would come out to $180+ RIDICULOUS Homeless people everywhere, my roommate actually had his truck broken into. Luckily there was nothing in there to steal but his radio lmao Neighbors constantly arguing, playing loud music. Shootings have happened here and even a murder, a mother had stabbed her daughter and her daughter's baby killing the baby .. don't believe me? Look it up. I have not moved in yet but Lorenzo has been a great property manager so far. He is knowledgeable, understanding, and cares for the tenants. I went here on Tuesday the 21st of October and the gentleman that helped my daughter and I name was Lorenzo. He was very helpful. He was thoughtful. He knew his job up down and all around. He was very thorough. He took his time. He broke everything down and I asked a lot of questions and he had answers for every single question and the one question he didn't have an answer to why he get his phone and look it up and had an answer for me. That's customer service with a smile because he gave a smile! He really went above and beyond. He had so much knowledge of the property and of the area and it was just relaxing because he always had an answer and it was a good answer for every question. Way to go Lorenzo. Great job. My husband and I toured this place when looking for an apartment. The photos online were very misleading, as the one-bedroom apartment we were looking at was extremely small and not well kept, and the complex itself was very run down. The complex is out in the open, meaning that there is no security gate or code, so anyone can drive in or walk through at any time. I am so grateful my husband and I found a much better apartment elsewhere instead of being stuck here. The manager who gave us the tour even said it themselves that they wouldn't live here. read more

This was the worst apartment complex we have ever dealt with. The office staff are incredibly rude with not even an ounce of compassion or care. We submitted all required documents and came to our move in date with the cashiers check on hand only to be turned away just because the office staff wanted to leave early. They refused to give us the apartment keys nor go over the contract when there was still time to do so. Instead the office staff spent all that time arguing with us on how we needed to leave because they were closed -spoke with Austin and Roxana (it was before 6pm). We were also incorrectly told that if we arrived before 6pm, someone would be able to assist us in finalizing the move in. None of the staff even attempted to work with us or even checked our files. We walked out feeling extremely disappointed. We drove over 2 hours with all of our belongings in a rental truck ready to move in. Did not expect to get a cold response and no keys. Would not recommend anyone going through what we did here. We are fortunate enough to still have a place to go back to, but I can see how this would be such a problem for someone who moved completely out and got turned away. Pricing was pretty steep anyways.. we were about to pay 1800 for a 300 Sq ft studio in a pretty bad area. This was supposed to be a temporary transition place for us. Horrible experience. Staff is also very disorganized... there is a complete lack of communication to what was signed or not signed and what was communicated and not communicated. There are so many more photos and text from maintenance employee about other residents and while in their units. Again this is a habit with employees at Centerpointe. Prior to this maintenance employee other maintenance employees also gossiped about residents and other staff members and their misconduct/ inappropriate behavior with each other or residents' to other residents. This is scary and not too sure what their policy is on staff dating residents, texting or gossiping about residents to other residents'. Disclosing stuff in resident files and using that to manipulate certain residents'. Again a lot more photos of employee in current residents units taking videos of their animals or other stuff then disclosing it. But yet Satellite/Tiffany want to ignore it. Be aware! If you see something wrong take photos, keep all documents even all notes posted on your unit door, all correspondence whether email or text. Because they will lie and cover it up to protect each other in the office and the company. While on call for the week, maintenance employees would ask several female residents to call the after hour emergency maintenance number and lie about an emergency issue, so that he could get overtime for nothing and have an excuse to go see his girlfriend. This happened often. Maintenance work orders being denied, using old nasty carpet to repair two pieces of torn carpet. Always claiming they do not have the parts to fix issue have to wait for them to get ordered or have been ordered. Literally crap coming out of backed up bathroom sink, water leak under kitchen sink not an emergency for 6 months. Still waiting 2 years for a replacement fridge(freezer)not working properly, carbon monoxide detector 1 1/2 years waiting, keeps beeping throughout the day, hot water pressure slow and takes a while for the water to turn hot, A/C unit works for one minute then shuts off, bedroom window vibrates, smoke from downstairs, side and neighbor on other side of wall come in my room and bathroom smelling up my unit like cigarettes and weed. Multiple inspections for no reason because they write them down but do not have them fixed. Saving money for their quarterly bonus on how good they saved money on fixing up the units/property. read more

Going on my first month living here and already had so many problems, spotted at least six roaches with the first night, the heater flooded the floor over night,the water does not get hot and even when it does only for one min, I'm starting to regret signing that lease. This has to be my 3rd review on this apartment due to helping people NOT picking this complex. It's ridiculous! I have sent emails to the mangers multiple times no reach has been sent to me once. They only bullshitted an apology that was in my last review. If you look at the pictures and specifically the last one with all the trash on the floor is TERRIBLE this trash looked like this for a WEEK. And this happens every 4x a MONTH. It's even worse because it's right in front of my door. And I can't even throw away my OWN garbage that's I PAY FOR because of this. And people just keep piling junk. Also the bums come at midnight to see what's inside which is why there is lots of trash on the floor. I honestly regret signing this lease. I genuinely hope people read reviews before actually moving In because they are VERY TRUE. Fuck this apartment complex!!!! You are UNSAFE. If I could give negative stars as ratings I would. The apartment is super small for what I pay here. The pools have been terribly dirty since I moved in a year ago. The basketball court has been broken since I moved in also and maintenance said they have had a new one to put up but they don't have the okay from the office. The net for the tennis court hangs down. The volleyball court looks like a huge kitty litter box and there's always huge dog shit on the floor everywhere!! You would think for basically 100 dollars shy of paying 2,000 dollars for this apartment I'd have better service in every aspect. read more

But in my honest opinion the management has no compassion & find many ways to put the blame on you on any situation and pool ain't even as clean nor look as sanitary... you'll constant see black out and cops and hear some type of construction going on or water shut down or power shut off .... HORRIBLE!!! I waited till I got my deposit back for this review. Out of my $750 deposit, I received $38! For cleaning ??? Really? Ridiculous! I had this apartment for about 2yrs and literally only stayed there a total of 6 months if that. I was always at my bf house so basically it was a high priced storage. The little time I was there everything was breaking! I couldn't have internet, why? Because the cable cox outlet didn't work. Then I couldn't get in my apartment, why? My key stop working on the front door. My garage disposal stopped working. My bathroom sink facet was leaking from the knobs. Not to mention the huge bubble growing and leaking from the ceiling over my shower! Oh and the kitchen light fixture wires gave out as well. No light! The maintenance people practically lived more in my apartment than I! How the hell I only $38 back? Oh yeah and the Manager Talia is a piece of work. She tried to bully me into a 12 month lease. I didn't have the finances to move at the end of my lease so I wanted only a 6 month. She denied it! Told me only 12 months. Every year I was offered 6months except this time. Then when I give them my 30day notice they magically come up with a 6 month lease for me to sign! NOPE! I was tired of watching tv/Netflix on my Samsung galaxy s10 phone!! Completely disgusted with these apartments! I see they are going for 1500 and up? Don't do it, they will not give your deposit back. And charge you for BS charges for a 428sqft apartment! Literally living in s closet. I now live in a 708 soft apartment for $1550. $50 more but I actually have room for my stuff. Worst apartments EVER! Worst Apartments Ever! The Best Thing I Ever Did Was Move Out! Moved In August 2017 lived there until May 2018. When I First Move In And Seen The Apartments They Were Amazing No Problems Very Clean Everything Was Great! When I moved in I told management that my carpet smelled and if I can get it removed because it would smell really bad. They told me no that I needed to have a doctors note. Fast forward Around September /October My husband and I were outside my neighbors tell me their was a MURDER in the apartment! Yes a Murder in the apartment I was living in. I felt sick to my stomach because it was a one year old little girl! I was so upset I called management in the morning first thing. They denied anything EVER HAPPEN! They didn't even changed the carpet! Management offered a complimentary carpet cleaning because I was putting two and two together that they didn't even change the carpet! I took it because their was not much I can do for the carpet. Worked for a little while for the smell but it just got worse. Then the more I got to know my neighbors from other buildings and my building they began to tell me about what happen. I had blood coming through the paint they didn't even clean it correctly! I even found little girl hair clips under my A/C I don't have kids so their is no way it could have been there. I knew nothing about the apartment or how the murder was but I sure knew where the blood stains were. I ended up finding the details on google and just went from their. Called housing corporation they did nothing spoke to the regional manager of the complex she didn't even give me a change to speak yelled at me over the phone then asked me what complex was I in then I to tell her how was she denying everything if she didn't know what complex it became a huge mess! But my recommendation is not to move here. I used to live in apartment 455. If you live in apartment 455 make sure they tell you cause sometimes our lights would go off and on on their own people used to leave little flowers at our door step and I had no idea why until my neighbors told me. I've lived here for a while now and so far I have no major complaints. The staff in the office is nice and helpful especially Sonam. (Definitely recommend her) when something is wrong maintenance is always fast and they are also friendly and helpful. The parking is all free parking which is great! The place is kind of hidden but is pretty much safe. Have never had any complaints about unsafe conditions. Neighbors keep to themselves and are friendly. It's very affordable and apartments are cute and good size. They are pet friendly. Only complaint/downside is that it's not a nonsmoking complex. On the plus side is your right next to Walmart, food areas and freeways gotta love that. They do have a small problem of residents having broken down cars or years of expired tags taking up parking spots but they just recently started getting them removed which helps a lot when it comes to parking at night and wanting to park near your building. Definitely give this place a try they are a nice place to live. Also I see the reviews say there is a lot of garbage and dirty. Which in my experience is not true if there is any large garbage the maintenance removes it immediately and clean up the area of the garbage cans to keep it clean! read more

There's also roaches and mice so be cautions even wanting to move in here! They also broke into my car and broke the window ! A lady that worked in the officer try telling me my car would get towed for having my car in the front to unload my groceries when she was talking to someone that had their car parked in front. People ALWAYS park in the front and they were never told anything. Office people should also leave the parking under the sheds for residents , as their is parking in other places. In the laundry room people would take your stuff out and put theirs in.. management did not care as they added a sign saying people COULD take out clothes from the washer and dryers and put theirs inside .. Washers and Dryers suck ass and not even half of them worked or turned on. People also have their Loud ass music on all night. People stay fighting and arguing in these complex's. Would always see the cops their for some type of complaint. I once woke up to someone putting up posters all over the apartment complex of pedophiles that lived their. The jacuzzi was ALWAYS turning green and people will still go in their. Gunshots are fired on the property and have hit residential buildings, but yet management does not even alert residents of the crime within the facility. As management at least have the decency to give residents a heads up to be more aware of their surroundings due to frequent incidents. Many drug users as well. Be cautious if you chose to rent here. I moved in last year and I had a smooth move in experience. The girls at the leasing office seemed nice. Every month after that this apartment complex got worse and worse. A lot of people that didn't live in that complex would come and walk around and try to break into cars... fights would take place in the parking lot. The apartment is near a canal and a lot of people jump over the brick wall back and forth to hang out at the canal, play loud music, fight, and start problems. We even had a homeless man move in right behind our apartments. It became so bad that there would be trash everywhere, police would come often because of how loud him and his friends were. The leasing office did nothing about it. They couldn't do nothing about it because it wasn't on their property but people who lived in the apartments would associate with this man and start a lot of fights with him. The trash buildup became so bad we started getting rats on our roof, they would run around and we couldn't even sleep at night from how loud they were, the leasing office said they could do nothing about it because they weren't actually in our apartment... the apartment rooms themselves are so small which didn't seem like a problem at all until we noticed that the walls are so thin you could hear every movement and conversation our neighbors had. Because of how thin the walls are we had gotten a noise complaint from just casually talking in the kitchen... The water in these apartments are always getting shut off because something is always wrong with the boilers... overall what seemed like a good experience to begin with turned into a compete disappointing place to live. Moving out was also a terrible experience, the apartment changed to new management and any questions I asked about moving out I was answered with attitude or someone didn't know the answer to what I needed.. As soon as we moved out they completely painted the apartments complex which may look nice from the outside but is a complete mess. I would highly recommend to live elsewhere since the people at these apartments did nothing to help our experience better. read more

I lived in a studio apartment here for 7 1/2 years. I was there from April 2009 through October 2016. My feelings are mixed. It is a nice property with well-kept grounds. The apartment was nicely appointed with a quality kitchen, small but serviceable. The bathroom fixtures were decent. It was quiet past 8 PM, very quiet and still. That made for many good nights of sleep. Management was ok. Not great, not bad. Many came and went over my 7 1/2 years. They were serviceable as professionals and got the maintenance requests handled in a timely manner. The neighbors were all pretty decent people. But not all. In 09 through about 12 my area had some drug users and late night transient-type activity associated with that, but they were quiet and did not bother anybody. There was a 5150-like woman there around that time who had a tendency to knock on doors and ask people if she could borrow stuff. I think she got kicked out. There was a guy on the other side of my apartment, we shared a wall, who hit the boom box loud most evenings and wouldn't turn it down. Management said they would take care of it but never did. When I left in late October, he was still at it. But he turned his stuff down by 8 PM. Had a smoker in the apartment before I moved into it and the nicotine residue started coming through the paint here and there, especially in the bathroom, about Spring of 10 and was still there when I left. Had my pickup broken into about 13 and only the Owner's Manual was stolen. Go figure that one out, head scratcher. I know! I couldn't. Mold issues in the corners sometimes, but I beat it back. Had to stay on it weekly. Management just didn't give a rat's on that one when I complained. In June 2016 had a roach problem develop and was still fighting it at the end there in late October. Had them spray three times but they kept coming back, in force. Big ones, little ones. I think they were in the walls. Management struggled with this one. I believe they were coming from the apartments downstairs where there was a lot of cooking and menudo making going on. I kept a clean apartment with all foodstuffs in the frig, so it wasn't me. I had so many roaches in there in the Summer of 16 I thought they were going to start a nation. The pool has potential. They rebuilt it about 12, 13 or 14 and it looked great but after a weekend of people using it, some who do not live at Centerpointe or know anybody there, they just sneak in, well, it was filthy. I only used that pool twice. Once in 09 and didn't like the look of it so I got out soon. And once in 16 when it was clean, a rare thing for sure. The hot tub often had yellow caution tape around it. I found used condoms floating in there twice. I know, right? Disgusting. What all else....laundry room....half of the machines seem to be broken down. One has to use a debit card on the things, too. That sucks. People leave bleach in those machines too, so watch out. I lost a couple of shirts. They installed locks on the doors there about 13 or 14 because people's clothes were walking off. Be aware of that. There are tenants there with sticky fingers. The parking lot is ok. I liked the covered parking but it is first come, first serve. Still, I never, not once, had to park on the street. I always found a slot. Usually easily, too. There is ample parking. Oh, the dumpsters. Almost forgot the dumpsters. They fill quickly and stay filled, often over flowing. Homeless people dig around in there too. A lot. So, yeah, overall, I have some complaints. But I did like living there and took the good with the bad. You have too. There are better places. But a lot worse too. I had a good run there and really enjoyed it overall. Nothing is perfect. Centerpointe is a decent place overall. It is a roof. read more
