During this time, the customers and staff have experienced respiratory problems because of the dust. The customers have complained to management and corporate. No response and action has taken place. The customers cannot use 3 rooms of the gym equipment due to the construction blocking it. Management has not offered another gym to the customers that can be used for this delayed inconvenience. Paying a service that is not being provided is a serious problem and the health risk. No professional cleaning done during this time either. Warning- Don't join there. Management is cheap at fixing the gym equipment that has been broken for several months and unprofessional. UPDATE: The renovation is at a standstill on no progress to opening the floor or the remaining room closed off. There are 27 TV screens and 8 are not working for over a year! Also, management decided on selected channels which are not what the customers want. Local news on one channel is a fair suggestion. Ignoring the response below because they aren't serious about these complaints. Customers are leaving.

Make sure you read every line and ask exactly how you can cancel or terminate your contract before signing. The staff did not explain the cancellation policy clearly to me. I was a member from 2023 to 2026 and signed up for personal training to help with shoulder pain. I only registered for 7 sessions, but the program was very expensive and difficult to stop once started. Even after canceling, the payments continued, and I was charged an early termination fee equal to another month's payment. When I tried to resolve this issue, the manager didn't contact his supervisors or make an effort to understand my situation to solve the problem. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Make sure you double-check everything before signing.

I was on my credit card today to review charges and noticed a charge from this gym. When I looked back, I had over $700 in charges for the last 12 months, so I attempted to cancel ASAP. First, tracking down the cancellation process took an act of Congress and once I got on the line, the finance company advised me that there was a membership contract and that my 30-day notice would take effect in September with an additional $160 in charges between now and then. But, great news as I can use my membership until October from Georgia! Shame on me for trusting the person that signed me up. Shame on me for not reviewing my credit card statements until now. However, those behaviors are what these gym's are designed to take advantage of. It shouldn't be 10x harder to cancel a Gold's Gym membership than it is to enroll in one.

My experience here has been pretty positive from my visit. The Gym/Equipment: The gym itself is decently sized. It's not a huge space like commercial gyms, but smaller with just enough machines/equipment for everybody to use. Being that it is a strength gym, there are plenty of powerlifting equipment to use. Plenty of barbells, deadlifts platforms, comp. bench's and squat racks. And, they have plenty of accessory machines as well. Overall, this gym has plenty of equipment to go around and nice quality selections to choose from. The gym was well kept and clean as well. The Environment/Staff: Upon entering the gym, I was greeted by the staff and they were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They gave me the tour of the space and I can tell from how everyone was interacting with each other, it was a tight-knit community. Seemed like almost everyone knew each other and it mad the whole environment feel very welcoming. The overall atmosphere was very cool, from the people to the great music selection. Afterward, I was curious about the tanning beds,where they were located, how they worked, whether I needed to bring goggles, and what the process was for first-time use. By then, there were two employees at the front desk. They appeared busy, so I waited off to the side until they were available. When I approached the desk, I explained that it was my first visit and asked how the tanning beds worked. One employee, while eating, simply told me to check in. I explained that I had already checked in, finished my workout, and was just looking for information about the tanning beds. As a first-time visitor, I thought I might receive a tour or at least a brief explanation of the amenities. A second employee, who was wearing sunglasses indoors around 8 PM, jumped in and directed me to another computer. He explained that I needed to scan my membership QR code and select tanning along with a time. It seemed they assumed I was trying to tan immediately. I clarified that I wasn't looking to use the tanning bed at that moment, I was simply asking where it was located and how the process worked. I was then told to come back when I was ready to tan. Unfortunately, my questions were never really answered. As a new member, I was hoping for a more welcoming experience and some basic guidance about the facility's amenities. Instead, I left feeling dismissed and wondering if I made a mistake signing up.
