I showed up at 8am on Friday, and was greeted by Nash before the shop opened at 8:30am as walk-in customer. I had spoken to Nash on the phone the day before and gotten a quote but forgot to make an appointment. Nash told me that they would have to order the windshield as the shop can't keep everything in stock. He said they could grab the windshield during their 9am parts run, it would be at the shop by 10am, and then it would be about 2 hours for install and calibration (or about Noon). I was back on the road by 10am. Thank you so much! My friend has been here twice before, and I will definitely be back because of the quality, value, and speed of service! They've been in Rocklin for over twenty years and I can see why. If you need to wait: there aren't any shops or restaurants nearby (and Pacific can be a pretty busy road to walk), but there is a small waiting area in the office.

Water started leaking down the interior passenger‑side vertical panel, and my moisture‑sensing feature no longer worked. When I climbed up (the truck sits high) to inspect the windshield, I discovered that the weatherstripping along the entire lower edge had been destroyed. I contacted Safelite customer care and was directed to take the truck back to the shop. Prior to picking the truck back up, I called to complain about the poor work quality and was referred to Shawn Scobee, the manager at the Rocklin location. Instead of addressing the workmanship issues, he dismissed my concerns and claimed that "all Ford trucks have this problem" and that Safelite would not cover any portion of the replacement cost. Yes, these trucks have delicate lower cowlings -- which is exactly why a competent technician should handle them with care. Mine clearly didn't. The windshield wasn't sealed correctly, the moisture sensor wasn't connected, and the cowling was treated like it was being removed and reinstalled by a gorilla (with all due respect to a wonderful animal). I'm not claiming that every Safelite location is terrible, but the Rocklin branch won't see me again. The management is dismissive and the workmanship was far below what anyone should expect from a specialized service provider.

Some didn't have what I was looking for, some didn't provide enough information in their reply, some did t reply at all and then there was Genesis Window Tinting. In a class of their own. First of all, major kudos to Yarlenny. Her customer service is top notch. From our first interaction, to the walkthrough of the job and then to making sure the job was done well and to my satisfaction, she excelled in all aspects of customer service and what it takes to make sure the customer is heard and requests are met. Initially, I wasn't too sure on the tint shade and was wondering how it would look on my car, she took the time to show her own Tesla and the tint it had on there. Being a visual person, this helped a lot with deciding to go darker or lighter on the tint. I was provided with clear, transparent pricing on everything that I wanted to include with the job. While they are not the cheapest, they are competitive - especially with certain films that they are certified on. They also offer "a la carte" option where they allow addition or subtraction of certain areas (for example do the tint on the car but exclude the back window). After dropping off the car, I was given a timeframe on when the job will be complete. They were right on the money. The tint came out super nice. The windows inside were clean and there wasn't any residue on the doors or dash, I've had a few experiences with other shops where this was an issue. The car looks so much better now. Overall, I'm extremely impressed with customer service, the tint job and professionalism. They do offer other services (PPF) on top of window tinting.
