I flew from FT Lauderdale to Los Angeles o. MAY 23 2026, IT WAS A Family emergency…read more I paid $84.00 to upgade to a comfort seat. The TV was broken the entire flight, despite the reboot, everyones was working but mine. I sent an email to Jetblue, and requested a refund for the upgrade, and they were too cheap to refund $84.00 I felt it was bad customer service, and not a good faith move

This was my first time flying JetBlue, and unfortunately it was a terrible first impression…read more My flight into Charlotte was delayed about two hours because of severe weather, which I completely understand was outside JetBlue's control. My issue is everything that happened after we landed. The app shows the flight landed around 3:41 PM. I was seated in row 12, deplaned promptly, made a brief restroom stop, and was already heading toward baggage claim by 3:50. At 3:59, I ordered my Lyft because I was within a minute or two of baggage claim. JetBlue's own bag tracking shows my bag was unloaded from the plane at 3:59 and marked "Pick up at bag claim" at 4:05. The problem? My flight was never listed on the baggage summary board, never displayed on the carousel screens, and the JetBlue app never provided a carousel number. I immediately asked an employee for help and was sent back to Carousels 1 and 2. Still nothing. Another employee told me bags can take a long time, so I reasonably waited, assuming JetBlue had not started unloading my flight yet. Other flights were still showing on the screens and passengers were standing around waiting for their own bags. Eventually, after more than an hour of searching and asking for help, I found out my bag had apparently already been placed on a carousel, removed, and considered "left." Left WHERE? How exactly was I supposed to know where to retrieve it when JetBlue never provided a usable carousel assignment? There was no staffed JetBlue baggage office available, the ticket counter was closed, and Central Baggage Services could not provide real-time help beyond sending an email. I finally got an answer only because I happened to catch a JetBlue employee walking out of a restricted area before she disappeared again. I did not leave CLT until 5:55 PM, more than two hours after landing, while trying to locate a bag JetBlue apparently had in its possession the entire time. I also had to cancel a Lyft and incur a cancellation charge. To make matters worse, I had already paid $49 to check this bag in Fort Lauderdale after being required to check it there, only to deal with this mess when I arrived. When I contacted JetBlue afterward, I was initially offered a $25 flight credit, then $50 after pushing back. Not reimbursement. Not a refund. A credit requiring me to give JetBlue more business after this was my first experience with them. No thanks. The weather delay was not JetBlue's fault. The baggage communication failure, lack of accessible support, and complete absence of a reasonable recovery process absolutely were. JetBlue turned me every which way but loose on my very first trip with them. I will be extremely hesitant to fly them again.
