I have used Blackstone Limousine services twice for travel out of the Oakland Airport. The driver is always on time if not early, is a very good driver, and if super friendly. Timeliness and professionalism is a must but someone who makes you feel comfortable and knows how to drive takes it over the top. The only issue I have is that you don't get an email or text confirmation, I'm one of those folks who takes a printed boarding pass to the airport so not have a confirmation in writing makes me a bit uncomfortable. Very pleased with the service! I have used Blackstone on several occasions -- once from Dublin to Levi's stadium and more recently from Fremont to SFO. Both gentlemen who drove me to each destination were early, professional, friendly, and excellent drivers. I didn't catch the first driver's name, but did give him extra gratuity. We had wonderful dialogue through the duration of both trips, but they both maintained their focus on the road. I also found that the company was rather accommodating. Worst car service ever. I called to book car service from Dublin to San Francisco 2 weeks before my wife's holiday party. I requested a 5pm pickup to ensure we would make it by 6:30 as my wife was involved in the planning of the party. Bijan was super friendly and made the booking, took my credit car info. I asked if I should call a few days before to confirm, he said that wasn't necessary. The night of the event we called at 5:05 to check in. They said they had no record of the reservation! I told him I made the reservation with Bijan, he replied that Bijan wasn't working. What does that matter? The guy said he would try and get someone here. Finally the car arrived at 5:30pm. The driver asked if she should head towards the Bay Bridge to get to SF. ?? She had no idea where we were going so we asked if she had a GPS. Nope. We had to sit in the backseat with our iPhone yelling out directions the whole way. Of course we hit traffic at the toll plaza which is why we requested to be picked up so early. We arrived a little before 7pm. 30 minutes late. I created this yelp account specifically to leave this feedback. What was to be a fun and special event, started off in a very bad way. Did a SFO pickup up they were on-time and even had to wait 45 minutes for us. The driver was extremly nice and courteous and we had a nice clean town car. The only small negative is the driver was confused as to what terminal we were in and neglected to tell us we had to hoof it to the "limo pick up". Other than that I would use them again. read more

Very unreliable and unprofessional company. Do not use them. They wouldn't provide a receipt or confirmation; phone was never answered and went to a full mailbox. We were supposed to be picked up from SFO and no text, call or anything. After multiple times calling the number with no answer someone picked up and said that they would be another 15 minutes "or so." I cancelled and will never use them again. Do not use this service. We were ready to fly home and got notified of a flight delay that would bring us into Oakland to late to catch BART to Pleasanton. Started looking for a limo (Town car) to pick us up at the airport. Lots of expensive limo services around with reasonable base price but wanted taxes, fuel surcharges AND a required 15-20% gratuity. Contacted these guys and what a delightful difference. Straight forward with one price ($75) plus gratuity (at MY discretion). The airline kept changing arrival time and I asked Blackstone to track the flight and react accordingly. We finally arrived, went to luggage claim, got the bags and walked outside. Called their 800 number and the town car pulled up less than five minutes later. The driver was friendly and courteous. Insisted on seating us before loading the luggage. A very nice ride home. The driver hauled the luggage to our front door. I practically had to mug the driver to give him a tip! A GREAT EXPERIENCE!
