Good things about the experience: The movie was great! Lots of parking even on a holiday weekend. Getting popcorn was easy. I'm part of the Cinemark Club and bought tickets online so scanning at the podium was easy. The not so great: Theater in disrepair. This has to be an old theater as the seats were not recliners. Rows were very close together and not much leg room. The sound in the theater was WAY too loud. I know it's the experience but even my husband said it was loud. The 3D glasses were too big for me and hurt my ears. For the price of movie tickets these days... you'd think they could spruce up the theater. read more

Purchased tickets to watch a movie in IMAX and was VERY disappointed in the theater seats. Our seats had huge rips and cuts in the arm rests as well as the seats. The seats do not recline and barely rock back. The leg space is very limited and overall uncomfortable. For the price & the screen I was shocked to see how run down the entire theater is. read more

My birthday was October 16 2025 and me and my friends and family went to watch black phone we thought this was fine because we had my sister and my brother in law that are 21 years old we have watched a rated R movie before with them before so i don't know what was the problem with not letting us in that were under 21, you alls managers were no help with this issue yes we did get a refund. but your wondering why i'm writing this it's inconvenient to pay for a whole movie and get snacks just to be turned down just because i'm not 21 and older. i'm just saying to make the policy more lenient and more efficient to everyone.thank you ps you ruined my birthday read more

It's a nice enough theater. You can pre-order your snacks. I felt like splurging ;) so I ordered our popcorn and sodas the night before only to have the kid (taking the tickets) tell me I had to pick them up upfront even after I explained to her (a couple of times) that I had ordered ahead. Unless you're gonna watch in the premium Cinemark XD screen theatre then this theatre is to be avoided if you're gonna be seated in their regular screenings, the seats are run down and the cushion is bottomed out! The plus, the lounge chairs are comfortable and the arm rest go up, so if you are a bigger person, it won't be a problem. Cons, when I was there, there was no ice at all for the coca cola free style machines and for some odd reason, there was a sign that said that there were no refills allowed for the drinks. Also, unlike a typical theater where there might be 3 or 4 lines for those that are purchasing concessions, there is only one for customers to pay, which I imagine would be very slow when fully busy. read more

I love this movie theater...it's got everything from video games to the luxury seating. Fast check out and fast service at the popcorn station. Did I mention the popcorn is simply some of the best movie theater popcorn there is. You can buy your movie tickets online and then just walk in to the podium before the movie hallways and your barcode, (which is sent to your email address) gets scanned and you are given your movie tickets. This place is well kept and cleaned. The recliners inside the theater itself are so comfortable and can be adjusted so you can incline and enjoy the movie. read more

We purchased movie tickets for the 4th of July weekend to watch Indiana Jones we really enjoyed the movie but our seats were in need of repair. Come on Century 16 we spent a total of $58.00 with concessions to watch a movie in the theaters today, the least you can do is have your seats repaired...even better; if there is a seat that needs repair it should be a seat that cannot be sold for a viewing. It should be blocked off and shown as occupied. I was very disappointed when I arrived at my seats, which I selected, to find them in this state. read more

This theater has gone downhill as far as appearance and cleanliness lately, the bathrooms are always filthy and there are holes in the wall in one of the men's restrooms, the seats have lots of wear in the theaters and the landscaping outside is terrible, BUT the popcorn is always good and the air conditioning works great read more

I go to the movie almost every weekend. Overall I preferred this theater because of location and the seating. However they are not strict with their cell phone policy. A lady next to me today had her phone up taking pictures of the movie screen on and off (not filming it). There were three other people around me also using their phone during the movie. I asked the lady to turn off her phone during the movie and she cursed me out. I went and told management and all they did was give me a pass to another movie. The concessions stand charges $5 for a medium ICEE !!! and has a sign that they will NOT offer REFILLS for drinks, ICEES or popcorn to continue on with their business!! I guess that the $5 Icees is not enough?? It's ridiculous to charge $5 first of all, then to not even allow seconds on these low cost items. Great concept. See all seven of the Best Picture Oscar nominees out in theaters, over the course of about a week. You can buy a pass for all of them, which gives a discount for concessions, or go to each individually. I had seen half of them during their release, but it gave me a chance to see the others. Clean theater, attentive staff, good parking . I almost always go to this theater, but this was really a neat event. First time I actually bought a beer at a theater too. Fun time. read more

As far as Corpus Christi theaters go, this, IMHO, is the best one. Clean. Friendly staff. And IMAX lite. I say IMAX lite, because it isn't an actual full blown IMAX. That notwithstanding, I still enjoy the movie "experience" when I come. Now the snack prices... well, they are what they are everywhere. So, there's no needed to single this theatre out as unreasonably priced, when they all are. read more

This is only for the IMAX theatre. The seats are placed way too close to each other. They are not the fancy reclining seats that are located in their other theaters. The seats rocked back and forth but were uncomfortable. Other then that, it was a good experience. The IMAX was huge as expected and the sound quality was good. I would go to the same theater but I would not recommend the IMAX solely because of the seats. read more

First off there is no mandates expecting and individual to wear a mask however this establishment still expects you to wear a mask. They have gone up on pricing as well. So not only are you paying more but you are still stuck wearing a mask. My kiddos excitement of the movie was the only gratifying thing on this visit! read more

Best cinema in Corpus Christi! One thing I do NOT miss about DC is the prices for movies!! As a veteran I get a discount --it's less than $6!! Amazing! This is the cleanest and most comfortable theater in town. It's relatively clean and well-maintained and I've never seen cups and boxes from the previous show left over in the seats. It's not big city quality but then it's not big city prices. read more

Very organized and you don't have to wait long in any line. I've been to lots of theaters and this one is by far the best I've ever been to. The only complaint I have is that if you go see a movie that's been in the theaters for a while, you go into a smaller theater, which equal smaller seats for some reason. They were still comfortable but you can definitely notice the difference. read more

It's a theater where anyone can pay their money and get in...and with that it's subject to the abuses the public will bring down upon it. Sometimes the theaters have sticky floors. Sometimes there's an odd odor. What sets Century 16 apart is that the staff comes in between shows and sweeps every time. Their courteous and helpful. Concessions are mostly efficient. I have NEVER experienced sticky floors at a first showing of the day which suggests they mop nightly. The place is the cleanest in town, friendly staff and seats are comfy. And...you don't have to worry AS MUCH about the safety of your vehicle. No place in CC I s immune, but it's safer than the other venues. read more

VERY RUDE and slow service. It was the worst movie experience I've had in my life. In the concessions they have a Starbucks with a barista who just tried to do anything to avoid work. He would literally hide from the customers and it had a line of about 15 people before everyone just gave up on ordering to catch their movie on time.... Now, the worst part about them was how un-curteous they were. My boyfriend and I went to go see a rated R movie, my boyfriend, 23, bought the tickets because he was taking me on a date. I, unfortunately, did not think to bring my ID, I am 20 years old. We tried explaining to the lady and man taking our tickets but they didn't budge. I even showed them my credit card (which you need to be a minimum age to even have), and they wouldn't accept it. They were overall the pricks that made me want to write a review even though I never write reviews. read more

So far this theater has been the cleanest theater in Corpus Christi. They have delicious buttery popcorn and great hot dogs. The seats are comfortable and clean. The restrooms are always kept clean. I hardly ever run into any long lines when purchasing my ticket. I've actually started using fandango to purchase my ticket. I downloaded the app and use the bar code to get in. read more

Horrible theater experience. I visited this theater from out of town and disliked everything about it, except the movie. So boring, just a huge empty space with the concession stand in the middle. It felt like they had so much space and maybe drew a blank on what to do with it, other than a box in the middle to sell overpriced drinks, candy and popcorn. The manager on duty, Mary Carnes, is one of the worst managers I have ever had to deal with. I had a problem and rather than talk to me like the adult that just spent $40.00 in her establishment, gave me the attitude usually reserved for a petulant child. Cinemark is usually not my first choice for a movie theater but, being from out of town, it was my host's choice. Why is it that so many people at this theater think having their feet on the back of the seat in front of them is acceptable? I know it happens at all theaters, but it seemed like 20% of the audience thought this was appropriate behavior for adults. I contacted Cinemark about my visit, and Courtney Pulnik, General Manager, contacted me and assured that the problem with Ms.Carnes would not happen again. I usually stick to AMC, Kerasotes or Wehrenberg whenever I have a choice in theaters. I will visit a Cinemark here in Chicago and see how they measure up. this was a terrible experience. Bought four tickets for DeadPool 2 and they saw both of the underage boys and said nothing. Had a huge ordeal about exchanging movie times and still didn't ask to see the kids I.Ds'. We get to the ticket stub guy and he ask to see our I.Ds. We try to get a refund but they wouldn't refund us our money. Not to mention the manager sold us our tickets. very disappointing. customer is always right apparently doesn't mean anything. read more

Absolute disaster of a location. Waited in line for popcorn for 20 minutes! Why? Because apparently customers getting popcorn at 730pm on a Thursday night when early shows start is a surprise to the manager. Only one side was open and the line was all the way to the front entrance doors. Rather than managing the concessions backup, manager had plenty of bartenders standing at the ready for the occasional drink order. Line to get back into the theater area was 20 customers long and a 5 minute wait because they only had one guy taking tickets. However, bartenders still standing by at the ready! Manager needs to be retrained on what is important to customers unless corporate is OK with continuing to lose customers to Alamo Draft House. Worst experience ever! read more
