Briana, Marie, and Abigail were wonderful this evening @ 6:30 pm when we came to check in for our 7 pm movie. The gentleman with no name tag conveniently lacked tremendously in customer service. We are AMC Stubs members and were next in line to pay cash, (normally we order all online) just had to get an extra ticket and some popcorn; and he allowed line cuts. Even when it was brought to his attention and obvious by everyone that we were clearly next. This is out of character for this location, as a whole we receive good service. I hope by leaving this review that this will not happen again to any patrons. If it doesn't get resolved I will contact higher up the chain. read more

Potentially the worst movie theater I've ever experienced. Dirty from lobby to bathroom to theater. I should have clued in when the lady issuing tickets rolled eyes, this was not the greatest place to watch a movie (or probably, giving her benefit of the doubt, to work). The cleaning crew turned on lights at the end of the movie when there was still a theater's worth of people watching end credits and animation. Did not care. Bright spot - the guys at the refreshments counter up front were courteous and really trying their best. Out of ice. AMC should raze this location and start again. read more

I'm sure this theater used to be nice. But I came in to watch a movie and you could hardly see the screen. It was so dull. On top of that, I tried to get a gin and tonic and they had no tonic. And their bathroom looked and smelled like it hadn't been cleaned all weekend. It was 4:15 on a Monday so I know it wasn't from usage that day. It smelled like grand central station. They might need to kill off this location. It's definitely dead to me. I got my refund and left. And was glad they couldn't serve me a gin and tonic. read more

The employees hate their lives , the bartender didn't care at all , tried to ask for 3 different drinks off the menu ,after all of them not being available , just decided to not get a drink. There are 3 theaters in Corpus Christi; CINEMARK, The Alamo, and AMC. I would suggest CINEMARK or The Alamo over AMC. The staff at entry was disinterested at best. The entry, theater room, and restrooms (both men's and women's, as my spouse and myself both used the facilities) are definitely aged and ill kept. The theater was freezing, and I previously resided in Iowa, and thus am knowledgeable of cold climate. The audio was louder than I have experienced in a theater, there is loud and there is too much. This theater could use a cleaning, some updates, and most definitely new staff. read more

I understand this theatre is old. But man would it kill them to steam the carpets and mop the floors. I don't think I have ever been in a theatre that has smelt so bad. I walked in and looked like what was throw up on the floor covered with some kind of cleaning agent on top. Ticket counters had long lines and snack person was rude. The only bright note was a guy with long hair that was very helpful when I asked about how to get in after I purchased my tickets online. No screen on till 15 past the start time and then it was just those dam fillers on the screen that are supposed to be on before the previews. Skip this place until some major updates and changes and go somewhere else. If it weren't for my kids wanting to see this movie I would have walked out before I even sat down. Update: 35 minutes after start time and this joke of a theatre still hasn't started the movie. read more

We had the most unfortunate experience attending a movie yesterday at AMC Corpus Christi the theater was beyond filthy - there was almost no staff -everything in the theater was dirty - drink machines didn't work ( despite a soda costing over $6!) - the seating inside the theater had not been cleaned probably in days floors sticky trash all over under seats and in the aisles - the bathrooms were beyond describing they were so filthy! sinks were not in operating order - there was no soap it was just unbelievably dirty! Please save your money and choose another cinema if you want to enjoy your film. This theater was cited for having a rodent problem and after being there for the first time yesterday I can certainly see how that could happen not only that the staff was rude completely uncaring about the situation - but that could be because there are so few of them and it's such a big facility there's no way they can probably keep up with cleaning everything properly! I will never go back there and intend to advise all my movie living friends to stay away! read more

Came to watch Bladerunner 2049. On a Monday night. Sound system was so loud it drove the front mains into distortion. The side surround speakers were busted and rattling. It is sad how people have attitude issues and don't have the courteous of picking up their trash. It makes you wonder, is this what you do at home..... People need to respect and take care of others property, so on the next movie, the theater will be safe and clean. I've been here quite a few times with the family and overall the atmosphere is okay. I've never had any big complaints. If you buy a large popcorn and a large drink you get a free refill for each one. You also get a free candy. This is my first time bringing the family out to a movie premier though. I must say its pretty disorganized. People were going back and forth from line to line, being told that they're in the right line. Poor people were sent back to the long line then 5 minutes later they were told that the 9:30 show was already let in. Luckily we bought tickets for the 10:00 show, so we are good. I would be pissed if that happened to me. Good movie theater. The game room is nice for the kids and I to kill time, but they really should work on the organization on premier nights. read more

Out of the 3 theatres in corpus, this is the one we like the best. Seats are very nice and comfortable. Snacks are cheaper than at Century, and the air is decidedly less snobbish. ( At Century it's 4 dollars for a hot dog, and 5 for an ANGUS hot dog...here they have dollar dogs. ) Sometimes the restrooms could use a bit more sprucing up. The theater we were in, number 11, was hot, dirty, and smelly when we went in. Popcorn was scattered across the floor and some of the chairs are broken, leaving many movie-goers to walk up to a seat, discover it's broken, and move somewhere else with their friends / family to sit in another area, thinking, much like we were, that they should have spent their movie money somewhere else. Some of the arms of the hairs are torn to shreds exposing the foam underneath, while many other arms of the chairs are cracked and torn slightly. The audio from the movie was sub-par, I'm sure some of the 6+ loud wall-mounted speakers surrounding us are for show and don't actually work. There was also what I think was a dehumidifier at the front of the theatre under the screen. I'll be skipping out on this AMC theater and just go to Century 16 or Alamo instead. The money you save going here is not worth the trip; this theater isn't worth a dime of your hard earned money. Much improvement needed. read more

The movie times online aren't even playing once you get there to buy the tickets, so then you have to choose something you didn't want to see or just make a blank trip. Rude staff. A line that takes forever, not bc of length but bc of slow staff unaware of the job that they are hired to do. The cashier (Ariel) at the snack area not only was rude but also was letting people just walk up in front of customers that had been waiting patiently in line. She continued to be rude the entire time while ordering bc my boyfriend ask her why she was serving people walking up in front of others instead of showing them where the line was. It's not right for the people actually obeying their signs and policies are being treated this way. It's an outrage, and something needs to change. I will not be returning here, and would not recommend this theatre to anyone. read more

I noticed the name has changed again. My brother always says "you can't polish a turd". They need to do some overhaul on this place. It is dirty, staff member friendliness is a hit or miss, and taking about 4 months to fix air conditioning is ridiculous and should have a sign posted at the front before tickets are purchased.
