I called to get a ballpark estimate of a repair on my vehicle. While they would've preferred to see the vehicle in person first, they did provide the ballpark I requested, which I appreciate. However, the person I spoke with was rude and dismissive. When I asked if they'd be able to skip some of the recommended repairs due to budgetary constraints, he refused, saying they would get a bad reputation if they let a car leave without doing every possible repair, and they would refuse to service my car rather than work around my budget. That is predatory upcharging in a nutshell. I definitely would not trust them to responsibly and fairly assess and repair my vehicle without overcharging me for unnecessary work. read more

My car had extensive damage and needed repair. Century Auto Body is 5 minutes away from my home and I'd never noticed the business until I was in the area on another matter. I took my car for an estimate and after speaking with a trusted friend and reading online reviews, I decided on Century for my repairs. They were timely in submitting the estimate to the insurance company and scheduling my repair. Due to supply chain issues it took a little longer than anticipated but that was to be expected. My car was restored beautifully and the paint match was exceptional. I hope that I don't have reason to use their service again but I will surely recommend Century Auto Body to anyone who needs body work. We moved cross country from Portland to the Philly suburbs because my husband got a great job here. And wouldn't you know, my car sprung a leak. Not an oil leak or anything like that, but when it was raining outside, it started raining inside too. Although the dripping inside was happening near the door, the culprit, it turned out, was a clogged drain at the sunroof I've never opened. Dealt with Vince. This shop is incredibly honest. He cleaned up some scratches with compound at no charge and the hooked me up directly with subcontractor for glass repair without taking a piece of the repair fee. His honesty paid off as now I am bringing him my other car for quarter panel dent repair. read more

These guys were AMAZING!!!! I had my car towed there from another body shop after BMW of the main line recommended them..... My car was at another body shop who I refused to let them work on my car as they could only be described as sharks... Century was a breathe of fresh air after dealing witht he other knuckle heads. The guys at Century were all kind and empathetic during a very stressful time. Century took care of everything with my insurance company, it was great! Their work was astounding and my car looked amazing when it was done, they even fixed something on the interior that I had not mentioned to them. My car was detailed before it was returned and they even offered to get me a ride to their shop after I returned my rental car. Was forced to get truck painted because a shopping cart hit it. I went to Century and they scheduled my service around my schedule and did excellent work. These guys have the worst customer service. Got into an accident and brought my car here. Fixed my bumper but wouldn't touch my foglight because it was aftermarket BMW HID light. Any reputable dealership would have taken necessary steps to have this minor matter fixed and my insurance company was astounded that they gave the car back in this manner. i typically dont write online reviews but its frustrating when you need to know something about a business and cant find any reviews. i highly recommend this auto body shop. they are small but fast. the manager dave is definitely knowledgeable and will get your car done fast and right the first time. if you are a state farm client there is an agent a half block away and enterprise car rental is also just a couple of blocks away. dave will usually have the rental car there to pick you up before he even finishes the paperwork to take your car in the shop. these guys are professional and have never let me down and i will continue to use them. read more

I used to rave about century to everyone I knew. I sent countless people their way. But my last time dealing with them was my last time dealing with them. I had a mechanical issue with my vehicle and they said they could handle it. Only they couldn't. They sent the car to another shop that held my car hostage for a month, misdiagnosed my issue and after spending $800 on a rental and $500 on a part ( told I needed by century ) the owner of mainline ( the repair shop in question) said I know nothing about your car, I won't install the part you bought and I never told century I would. Now another $100 to tow the car to a real BMW dealer only to find out, the part I paid for is unnecessary. And since they worked so hard in justifying my insurance companies stance not to cover the repair (wrongfully) I am left footing more bills for a proper mechanic to do the work. Recommended by my insurance company vehicle took very long to be repaired and when I finally got vehicle back subframe was cracked and not repaired but was cracked from auto accident. very dissatisfied . Luckily I took my vehicle back to were I purchased it from and it was repaired properly. I called Century and let them know they asked me to have Nissan call them. Nissan did make contact with this repair shop and told them about the damage, but I never was contacted back from this company. read more

The manager/owner Dave was prompt and helpful. His price was about 40% less than 2 others in the area. He was able to take care of the problem within a few days. Pick up was delayed about 1/2 day but the work was excellently performed; the car was detailed when I picked it up. I'd certainly use Century again and recommend Century highly. read more
