Towel rack that was just screwed into dry wall with no anchor or stud
    Sami K.

we bought our home in the summer of 2023. We have had multiple problems that had to be fixed ever since then. The day we moved in we put clothes in the washer and the washer was not connected properly. Water ran down to our downstairs ceiling and the ceiling had to be fixed. Our shower was also not installed correctly, and it caused the wall to get wet. We had to have them completely reinstall the shower and the dry wall. When I asked the plumber what happened, they explained that century was given specific instructions that were not followed by the builder, and that is what caused the water leaking into the wall. There are base boards that have pieces missing, which to me is just unacceptable when you pay $370,000 for a home. The floors were making several loud popping noises recently, CRT flooring was scheduled to be here in the afternoon, along with the framer from century. Century's framer never showed up until 4:30 and CRT had already left. The framer looked at me and asked me what he is supposed to do. I called Ricardo ( who is a flake ) and explained to him that I don't speak Spanish and it is not my job to teach him how to frame floors. I requested he come back with CRT. They came the next morning and fixed the floors, however there is still loud popping in a couple of areas. Our home was put together with less than half effort, and when certain things have had to be fixed, I have been stood up by century Or told my warranty has expired so there is nothing they can do, even though it is their piss poor job that caused the issue. My neighbors found beer cans in their wall when they had their banister redone. I will never purchase a home from century again. The lack of care for their customers is UNREAL. Two days ago, our towel rack in the guest bathroom just fell out of the wall, only to find out it was just in dry wall. Not anchored into a stud or anything, and Ricardo Garcia told me they won't fix it because it is out of warranty. he also told me he empathizes with me. Then I found out HE is the division lead and the flake who makes the decisions to help customers who feel wronged. Century does not care one bit about their customers, and we feel absolutely scammed. We will be moving in the next year or two. PICK ANY OTHER BUILDER!

Currently renting a "new build" home and the construction/ finish is poorly done. Thankfully we didn't buy because I would be pissed. Found a bucket of beer and trash under the sink, nails/ screws on the carpet, floors aren't level, you can feel where the floor boards aren't flush together under the carpet, floor boards are chipped up, paint all over the floor. Some of this falls on the landlord but as we noticed a few things we began to look for more and found all these issues. Who knows what corners were cut for the foundation of the house.

Koren was super pleasant to work with all around. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. A lot of a great ideas during the initial meeting, for how to keep our project within budget, and where it was worth splurging or dialing back. We had requested a bid on two main projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were shocked by how much of the "bonus" projects we could fit in, and yet felt very confident with Koren's insights that these were realistically within our budget. The formal quote came in REALLY fast after our meeting, and was very easy to follow and extremely fairly priced. Was very impressed with how quickly they were ready to begin the work, and the forethought of asking us if we planned to "live-in" during the remodel vs. get an AirBNB or the like. We hadn't even thought of that. Would have been very confident in moving forward with ATX Remodeling. Especially as Koren had so many examples of the type of elaborate communication and oversight we would have at every stage of the process.

Michelle came out and gave a very thorough quote. She was fantastic. Answered all my questions, left me feeling confident that they knew what they were doing and could not only fix all the problems the previous contractor had caused but also go above and beyond to do all the things we had hoped we'd get originally. She worked with me on every little detail and gave great advice throughout. Michelle knows what she is doing and got me a quote that was crystal clear and very reasonable. Daniel ran the job and was fantastic as well. He had great insights, let me nag him about every possible question I could come up with, was flexible if I had any changes of heart about this or that, extremely easy to work with. All of his subs were top notch, which I can say as a business owner in the construction field myself is extremely rare. Plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, tile work, all were fantastic. He's surrounded himself with great people that get the job done right the first time. They didn't bat an eyelash at the art deco tile or the smart valves or any other unusual items I sent their way, they knocked it out with ease. And lastly Koren worked with me on any project details/paperwork that I needed. Was very responsive to everything I brought to him as I looked for assurances that I wouldn't have the same experience I had with the last folks. A very easy to work with company all around. I will be using these guys for future projects because the price is right, the quality is fantastic, and most importantly were willing to entertain any weird ideas I had. Your home is one of those things that has to be just right for you, and they made sure the bathroom remodel turned out just right for me. Would recommend them to anybody, and I'm a picky OCD guy, so that's saying something. Thanks again, ATX Remodeling!

We decided to go with MP Drywall & Remodeling base on the great reviews and reasonable estimate. As well, we could tell Mark's crew, Anton, was professional and skilled. As nature of construction jobs, there were A LOT of details. Although we tried to be thoroughly about every detail, there were still a few things we missed and misunderstood. Mark was able to help us over the things we missed or misunderstood and he was great at communications. Most of the time, Mark always got back to us in timely manner and we could be worry free about getting in touch with him. All his crews were working diligently. Our old patio was demolished in 2-3 days and they took care of the debris well, especially compared to our past experienced from other contractors. We have experienced many contractors always very good at talking and promising on the quality of their works. Only Mark and Anton were the real deal for this matter. They didn't over talk, especially Anton. He normally didn't talk much, but worked diligently and showed his care and proud for the quality of his works. They used the quality materials and paid attentions in details and what we mentioned or commented. There was some delay, but you could tell Anton really wanted to get the jobs done as scheduled. We understood sometime things couldn't go as planed. Anyway, one person of his crew showed up before time every single day, really every single day! We have never experienced that with any other contractors. So far more than 2 times of remodeling our house, Mark and Antonio is the best working team we have ever experienced. We can't say that there wasn't any problems during their working, but when the problems occurred Mark would try his best to get the problems solved. Finally, our new screen room was done beautifully. Neighbors came over to take a look and we have got compliments for our new screen room. We learned to be even more thoroughly for our next project too. We didn't want to be a client who always added more things to get done after signed an estimate. Certainly, if we have a next project, we will call MP Drywall again. We recommend MP Drywall and Remodeling company to anyone. In short: MP Drywall and Remodeling are: - Great Communication and Responsively. - Reasonable Price, importantly with One year warranty! - Very High Responsibility. We could tell Anton really wanted his projects to finish as soon as he planed and as best as he could. - Skilled and Professional.
