My son tends to be shy and was nervous for the appointment, but both his hygienist (Breanna) and Dr.Sofia made him feel comfortable, which of course made me (his mom) happy! My son told me after his appointment that he really likes this dentist! I really liked the vibe of this office overall. Everyone seems very caring. My kids came to Dr Sofia for some airway issues. I have noticed my children snoring and one specifically struggling more to breathe at night. They were grinding and my 8yr old has fits in the morning. We started with a guided growth & development device. I can not describe the difference in energy and moods in the morning. There is no snoring unless they spit out their devices while asleep. WE ALL LOVE IT! Attitudes & Reading scores have improved. I hope anyone with these issues find a solution like the one Dr Sofia has offered us. I had no idea of how much they were actually suffering while they were asleep. HANDS DOWN 10 STARS!!!!!! I have been taking my son to see Dr Sofia with since he was about a year old. Since he started going he has slowly started warming up more and more at each visit to having his teeth examined. She is so good at trying to get him to do a little more at every visit! A couple years ago he was so scared to let her even see his teeth so she asked him to show her how he brushes his teeth and at that time she examined his teeth in such a way that he didn't really notice or be bothered by it. This last visit was such a huge success that he even allowed us to do x-rays on his teeth!! Progress! Dr Sofia has always been so kind to him, and always gives him a balloon, toys, and stickers. He obviously loves it. She also pointed out to us that my son's teeth were extra grooved which makes them harder to clean and gave us a treatment plan for that - I really appreciate the proactive nature she took with this rather than waiting for cavities to show up (since grooved teeth are apparently extra hard to clean) Highly recommend her for your little one. Their teeth will be in good hands. My most recent visit (which I have attached pics of) are of the main office, they will be opening the pediatric side soon and I will update with pics of that after my next visit. read more

I'm so grateful for Dr. Sofia and her amazing team. My kids absolutely love coming here. We needed to find a pediatric dentist so I searched "pediatric dentist in ceres" and bam! I was initially nervous, but all the positive reviews convinced me to give it a try. I was blown away by their comprehensive approach, they did a thorough exam, including checking for lingual ties and a sleep and breathing questionnaire! They gave me tons of information including a snack guide. This was a completely new experience for me, as I've only known dentist to check for cAvities. My youngest is quite anxious and we were initially told she might need to be sedated for her cavities. However, Dr Sofia was able to use "hall crowns" and "no drilling" restorations to avoid sedation altogether. If you are looking for a pediatric dentist this is the place to go. read more

The treatment that we received as soon as we stepped foot through the door it was out of this world. Amazing! The staff was beyond caring, professional, helpful. Literally every single person working. There is an amazing human. I wish that I would've known about them sooner. Not only did they make my 2year old son feel so safe and comfortable, I was in immense pain and having major back spasms, and they even got a wheelchair for me and helped me the entire time so I didn't have to move. They even wheeled me to my car and put my son in the car! Meeting these amazing people gave me so much joy and honestly renewed my faith in dentists and people! Bless you all and we will be back! My last visit to the dentist was when I was 12, I am now 43 and can honestly say that TAYLOR BOWING, Dr. Patel and staff has made it very comfortable for me to return to the dentist. My son which is 4 went in for an after hour appt. We appreciated that! We came in and all they did was take xrays and diagnosed him with the work he needed done. We were told that the Pediatric Dentist would be in to treat him the following day. We paid $369 for the visit & had to leave $300 deposit for the next day. The dr talk us in to seeing the pediatric dr telling us how much experience she had and how she had training w/ autistic patients. Well that training fell short with my son. They treated him like he was a regular patient. They didnt even let the gas hit him or for him to get drowse when she was handling tools in his mouth. I left feeling fustrated that the effort wasnt what was promised the day prior. My son walked out with a severe toothache and mom out of $700. The dental hygenist was the sweetestttt! She was so patient and warm. You can tell she truly enjoys her job. She was the reason I didnt complain. read more

I highly highly recommend you to come to Dr. Patel. Dr. Patel and Stephanie are just amazing and I can't express fully how much I enjoy coming in. Stephanie took her time with my cleaning and I didn't feel rushed and just like any other patient. Dr. Patel came in and looked at my teeth and saw that I have small cavities forming and instructed me on how to prevent them from progressing. This truly showed his compassion for his patients and that he truly cares and isn't just there for the financial gains. His staff is also very friendly from the time you walk into the moment you leave the office.
