My son has been coming here since he was 5, I believe. He's going to be 10 this year and I won't go…read moreanywhere else. First Smiles has been nothing short of amazing to my son. I love their detailed descriptions of their dental plans for my son, I love how quick and easy they work, I love how kind and patient they've been with my son. They're amazing!

My son was seen by his regular dentist who informed us that half his tooth was missing and was…read moreinfected/abscessed, and they wouldn't be able to pull it for a few months. In order to avoid him having to take antibiotics until then, I frantically called around trying to find a dentist that could see him ASAP to get it pulled. After speaking to a few different places, I decided to take my son here since they were accommodating enough to see him the quickest. They informed me he would first need an exam by the dentist to see what work needed to be done, which was fine by me. While there he talked about a lot more extensive work that needed to be done including another tooth pulled, baby root canal, and a crown (all of which was never mentioned by his regular dentist). They said he could come in the next morning to get the infected tooth pulled for which I was so grateful to get it taken care of. Signed off on the treatment plan which again stated that the infected tooth was going to be pulled first and the rest of the dental work (extra tooth pulled, baby root canal) would be done at a later date. My husband had to work the day of my son's extraction and since I had a baby I couldn't go back there with my son. But he assured me he was fine to go back by himself. Tooth pulled and we headed home, only for my husband to mention later that day "I thought the infected tooth was on the other side?"....... Yes, yes it was..... The infected tooth was still in his mouth... After finally getting a hold of the receptionist I asked her for some clarification as to why they did not pull my sons infected tooth, the one they said they would, the one I specifically came there for in the first place, the one they had listed on the treatment plan. She spoke to the dentist and this is where the gaslighting began... she said it was not a mistake that he made a judgement call based upon his expertise, and that he decided to pull the other tooth (which just had a larger cavity mind you) because he wanted to get that root canal taken care of before it became infected. And that if it became infected he would've had to have had 3 teeth pulled.... So you're telling me that they're over here just pulling teeth willy nilly when they get infected instead of the first line of defense which would be a baby root canal, which spoiler alert is what you were going to be doing regardless? Imagine taking your child to the doctor for an infected cut on his leg, only for him to come into the waiting room with a bandage on his arm instead. The doctor tells you he noticed the infected cut on his leg but wanted to take care of the cut on his arm first because of the "potential" of it becoming infected, and to come back in a few weeks and he will take care of the infected cut on the leg. That is essentially what happened in this case, literally absurd right? So now my neurodivergent son had to take antibiotics which again isn't easy for him and I wanted to avoid. It required a doctors visit just to get the script changed to chewables because he can't take liquid form. All of this could've been avoided had this dentist just PULLED THE INFECTED TOOTH!

She was obviously very nervous coming in as she was afraid of "the drill"! The entire process went smoothly. Dr. Sheikh was skilled and very gentle. He explained everything to me fully before he got started so there were no surprises. The assistants Pritika and Breana were also sweet, patient, and very reassuring through the process. I was able to sit by and keep my hand and eyes on my daughter the whole time. She handled it like a champ and hardly flinched! Everything about this office is great for kids. The coin machines at the end are great. Thank you for making a scary day much easier for our girl! Today was our first visit and consult for our 2 little ones, ages 5 and 2. I was very impressed by how calm the kids were through the process thanks to very sweet, patient staff and dentists. It was scary for the 5 year old to learn that she would need a treatment, but overall, it was a very positive experience for both of them. The fun, kid friendly atmosphere was great and I wish I had this kind of dentist as a kid!

Mind you, SHE IS 2 and I take better care of her than myself. I tried to convey my confusions and tried to get some reassurance and got nothing other than call this number to get her sedated to fix the issue and made me feel like a shit parent. Got a second opinion at another dentist and told me she had nothing wrong with her. They either gave me the wrong x rays or tampered with it. All they want is a cash grab and want you out of there quick. I don't know how this place is open. Staff were somewhat nice at least.

Sometimes you forget that dentist's are like, SUPER interesting people…read more It was my first time here and I came for a routine check in and cleaning. Right away, I was greeted with a great smile. The lady at the front desk was clearly busy, but that didn't stop her from being attentive and friendly. Lovely welcome desk. As soon as I'm called back, I'm greeted by another friendly smile ( I believe "Maria"), and she tells me that she will be the one taking care of my X-Rays and photos. She was eager to chat, and even gave me some really interesting insight into their new camera system. Another lovely person. I'm then greeted by the lady who will be doing my cleaning, as well as Dr. Amethyst Schlecht. Dr. Amethyst Schlecht is very well spoken and engaging. She had a knowledgeable answer for every question, and never made me feel uncomfortable. Her inspection was quick but thorough, and I walked away feeling like the visit was comprehensive. The female dentist who did my cleaning (I'm bad with names, sorry!) was extremely friendly and equally as knowledgeable. I hadn't been to the dentist in years, so she really needed to put some work into the cleaning. However, she managed to keep it comfortable and basically pain free--other than the usual tugging and poking that is necessary. I think my favorite part was how everyone seemed super happy and eager to share knowledge with me. Every question was met with an answer. I felt like I was talking to enthusiasts, not just bored people at a job they never wanted. Perfect first time experience. Looking forward to coming back in 6 months! Cheers
