I recently saw Andy Grammer here and the show & venue were great. The staff at Cerritos Center was kind and helpful in navigating us to our seats. The box seats are awesome! I would love to see more artists here because being in the Box felt so intimate but at the same time, private in our own little section. Plus the sound quality was great! The venue itself is just gorgeous! Apparently they won awards when built in the 90s as they used some cool technology to have various configurable seating arrangements. All I know is it was pretty inside and out with a great view and experience for us! Not only that, but free parking!? What a dream for seeing shows! read more

The 2025 iteration of Ube Fest was held at the Cerritos Center surface parking lot. My wife, neighbor friend, and I stopped in during the Saturday evening iteration. We were really impressed with the number of vendors participating in this free admission event. There were two fully filled aisles of food and clothing vendors. It reminded me of an LA night market, expect all the vendors were related to Filipino culture. We arrived just after it opened at 4 pm, and it was already hopping. DJs were spinning classic Filipino music from turntables. The weather was great, lines were long, and dining tables were full. read more

**August 2025: Saturday Night Visit** I've been on a concert/show binge and have been booking them left and right. I purchased a couple of tickets for the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts because they have some really incredible guests; however, there are areas of improvement that can really improve the theater experience Pros: I love the variety of talent that they can attract to this venue and I love that there's ample and FREE parking. The space is also beautiful. The lights and podiums give the space a very upscale feel to it. Additionally, there are a good number of stalls for the women's bathroom and it's clean. Cons: These are some of the worst chairs I have ever experienced. The seat doesn't move back and the back cushion is designed in a way where you need to slouch forward. Unfortunately, it negatively impacted my enjoyment for the show which really is a shame. I saw in the first row of the UPPERR section. I will be attending a couple more shows because I already bought tickets and don't want to uninvite my guests to the performances, but it's a shame that I was so uncomfortable. I did buy tickets for different sections GRANDR so hopefully that experience will be better than seats in teh UPPERR tier. read more

Came here to see Leslie Odom Jr. perform (the OG Aaron Burr in Hamilton) and wow what an incredible venue! I went solo and got myself a seat in a theatre box and LOVED IT. I thought I was going to be further back but it was so close to the stage. The boxes have 4 chairs in the front, and then 4 taller chairs in the back. I had never been there before but all the staff were friendly and helpful in directing me where to go. This was a Ticketmaster event with bag screening, not sure if that's standard for this venue or if it was because Leslie Odom Jr. is a GOAT, but, the process was simple. My balcony box was on the 2nd level, and restrooms are located on the 1st and 3rd levels. The lines were crazy long (at least for the women's side) but the restrooms are pretty big with a lot of stalls so the line moves fast. Little bar, like, very little, with snacks and drinks. The tiny palm size bottle of Aquafina was friggin' $8 though, so, yikes. No photo or video recording allowed but idk how enforceable that is because since I was seated above everyone, I could clearly see everyone's phones as they were recording. One lady was seated in the very front row, dead center, and recorded the performance of an entire song! But no hate here. My phone must have taken pics on accident though ;) TLDR: sit in a box seat if you can, and either hydrate before the performance for be ready to pay $8 for a tiny bottle of lackluster water. read more

What an incredible venue for a concert! I'd been eagerly waiting to see AJ Croce perform as part of his 'Croce Sings Croce' tour. Every morning, I get ready to the sounds of Jim or AJ Croce, so this show was a truly special experience. It did not disappoint! I was thrilled to see AJ's mom, Ingrid, walk him out, and she even joined in on backup vocals. I adore her, especially on the songs she sang with Jim--they're some of my all-time favorites. AJ shared so many stories about his dad, including the surprising fact that Jim's career lasted only 18 months before his tragic passing in a plane accident. In that brief time, he produced five albums of amazing music. This was definitely one of my best nights. The venue itself is stunning, with no bad seat in the house. We attended a George Michael tribute performance at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts. The center has plenty of parking surrounding it and is located near several dining options. The theatre has comfortable seating and is a cozy venue that is not overly crowded. We really enjoyed the "Life and Music of George Michael" and it was very nostalgic of the 80's and the great songs written by George Michael. The crowd were surely enthusiasts and sang along or took videos (even though we were warned not to take them). Overall, it was a delightful evening. read more

My husband and I recently went to see Information Society with Strangelove performing at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts. It is more the type of theater where you see ballets or operettas rather than rock shows. It is a nice, more newly constructed venue that is clean, spacious and well-organized. We thought it would be located in a hip Los Angeles arts district, but truthfully, it is in more of a conference center in the middle of suburbia. You can find pretty much any chain restaurant or shop within a 5-minute drive. However, for that reason, parking is free and plentiful ,and it is very easy to grab a drink or a bite before or after the show. The venue itself is really quite lovely both inside and out. It boasts modern comforts with classical designs. For those who go to shows a lot, I would call it a "medium" size. This venue mails out hard tickets for shows, which we were fearful of forgetting, but also made for a little souvenir. There is a bar and a perch table in the lobby. Lines remained short, but the bar line took a while. It was nice that the bartender was able to get refills ready and have them on the bar with our names during the intermission. Restrooms were large and it was nice that there was no line for the ladies' room during the intermission. We also enjoyed relaxing by the lobby fireplace during that intermission. The seating throughout the theater which made it a bit awkward for a rock show, as when I go to shows, I go to dance. We were in the second row center, and luckily no one was upset when I (and several others) got up to dance during the opener. Also, the singer for the headliner called everyone to come up in the front of the stage to dance. I think that having seats is the only reason this is not my favorite venue for a rock show. However, it would probably be great for a play or musical. read more

I saw Nick Carter here and I enjoyed the venue. Parking was easy and without charge so that's already a huge plus. The venue is nice inside, there foyer is beautiful. There's a bar and store for snacks. You are not allowed to bring food or drinks inside. The theater seating itself has comfortable seats. I think anywhere you would sit inside is a good view, even the balconies are a good view. All of the staff I came across was very pleasant to speak with. read more

What a treasure! The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts is located in a great area, with a hotel (Sheraton) and eateries nearby. The mall across the street has plenty of food options, Islands and Wood Ranch Cerritos to name a few. The Center is large both inside and out. The outside has wonderful sculptures and art. The interior is beautiful with a grand foyer, including a giant vaulted ceiling and a beautiful stairway going upstairs. The Center is a great place to see a show or a concert. We went to see John Waite and Tommy Tutone. The sound is great. There is not a bad seat in the house. Parking is free on the street; you can also park at the mall and walk over. We were impressed with all of the staff and security. Everyone was very helpful. You will enjoy this venue. read more

My coworker invited me to see Respect a tribute musical to the legendary Ms. Aretha Franklin. We sat in the loge seating and it was fantastic! There was ample parking and an elevator to get to the third floor. Now the seats themselves weren't that comfortable but I was able to enjoy the show. We were looking for a restaurant to grab a bite to eat afterwards and everything was closed except for Denny's. So this is not a happening spot. It's more of a residential neighborhood. I would come back but it wouldn't be my first venue choice because I like to grab coffee and small bite afterwards and that's just not Cerritos. read more

Just attended the Blood, Sweat, and Tears tribute band last night. Overall excellent musicians, however the lead singer's voice was a bit weak and his voice was perhaps 50% quality of David Clayton-Thomas. Jeff Coffey came on the stage later with the weak-voiced guy and had a strong performance. The show started off below average but ended quite well, with many Chicago classics performed. I would give this review 5 stars if not for the average weak-voiced Blood, Sweat, and Tears singer. read more

We came here to see Chicago and had an amazing time! The theatre is intimate and I don't believe there is a bad seat in the house. The theatre had an effective stage design that enhanced the play and created a believable environment. The immersive lighting enhanced the mood and atmosphere that succeeded our expectations. The sound system accurately reproduces sound with a wide dynamic range delivering a nature balanced listening system experience. I have been coming to the Cerritos Theater (CCPA) for almost a year and I have always enjoyed coming here to be entertained by each fascinating live performance that catches my eye. Ever since I first came to this theater to see my very first live performance, I am always greeted by friendly theater members (ushers) and their warm genuine smiles made me feel really comfortable and they are very patient and helpful whenever I have questions and or I am lost trying to find my way back to my seat. And I have already seen 3 different performances and each performance leaves me with wanting to come back and see another one. That's how good this theater really is and have continued to amaze me. I really look forward to coming back again soon to see another upcoming performance and to see some familiar CCPA staff faces. read more

Beautiful venue and event space. We attended the Memorial Services for Jimmy Kim, Taekwondo Olympic Gold Medalist. The space is very large and they did a great job offering a beautiful venue. The center has a grand staircase, with a whole lot of stairs, and it is very nice to look at. There are also elevators for some who cannot use the stairs. The seats and aisles inside were very clean. The restrooms were also nice. The outside grounds are nice just need some maintenance and trimming. I can see many performers choosing this place. The grandeur is apparent. That is unheard of. The good: there are elevators which I appreciate. The seats are decent. They could be wider and have more leg room. The bad: the price is pretty high. Sat in the grand level (2nd story) center. Very cushioned seats (no squeaking of seats), ushers were friendly and helpful. Very intimate but open viewing. Only con could be one set of restrooms located on the orchestras floor only but plenty of stalls - and bathrooms were very clean and had chairs as a sitting area? I had such a wonderful time at the Cerritos Performing Arts Center , hearing a wonderful Haydn symphony played by the amazing young musicians for a string quartet . I went with my wonderful mom to the What Makes it Great series , a program that has a vision to popularize beautiful Classical Music in our modern times . Everyone was so kind . Wonderful staff from the security at the front doors to the lovely and entertaining ushers inside . I will never forget especially such wonderful conversations with Juel . Beautiful theater! Easy parking, FREE parking btw. Shares the parking lot with Sheraton Hotel so there is plenty of parking very close to the venue. People with mobility issues won't have to walk far at all. Great seats, even for a thick chick like me, I was comfy! Plenty of leg and arm room, very thick body friendly seating. We were lucky enough to be in the Orchestra, ROW B, seat 27 and 28 and we were dead center. One if the best seats I've been when seeing a show. Clean restrooms, I believe I saw a bar with beer & wine in the lobby but no food or drinks allowed in the theater. A fireplace in the lobby to warm yourself before and after. Overall an amazing venue intimate venue to see a show. Ps...There's a Fridays across the street if you are trying to pregame or eat and drink after a show. read more

VERY DISAPOINTING. My Mother had a Ticket ($98+) for Today's Event ("Chicago - The Musical") and couldn't go because she got sick. They wouldn't refund her ticket, only offered her entrance to another event. The thing is ALL the other events are in the pm when it is too late for her to go. Been here twice now, most recently for Expose ("Point of No Return", "Seasons Change", "Exposed to Love" among other songs) and EnVogue's ("Hold On", "Never Gonna Get It", "Don't Let Go (Love)" among other songs) double-billing show! Back to the 80s/90s that night and both groups did not disappoint. The venue itself is very modern, clean and sleek. It's sort of in a corporate-style office park. Free parking...!!! Nice courtyard out front but once you get inside, it's even more impressive. The staff was very nice, directly us to our box seats which were off to the side of the theater. I would say that any seat is good but for some reason, for that show, I wanted to try the boxes. Sound was perfect, we could hear the words without the background music being too loud. I wasn't sure what to expect from the crowd, but both groups got the entire floor section up on their feet dancing to their amazing songs...especially "Point of No Return" and the 'blast form the past' montage that EnVogue did. This venue hosts many top-notch performers so if one or more of your favorites are scheduled to perform here, definitely go! read more
