Starting with the concession. There is a photo of the duo hot cheetos/doritos with cheese and jalapeños being advertised. That is exactly what I ordered since the picture looked promising. When I paid, I asked the worker for the jalapeños and she said it had to be charged. That makes no sense. Why is the picture false advertising? Next, I could be wrong but i ordered a combo of the duo nacho and a drink and an extra duo nacho by itself. Why does it show on the receipt that i ordered those separately (à la carte). Is that how a combo is at this location? No discount for combos? Cause it clearly stated in the photo at the bottom right that it's cheaper. Second, the seats in the theater were gross. Seats are sticky, cup holders not clean and the arm rest leather was torn off. Most definitely did not feel clean being in there. read more

Yes, some of the seats are worn when I look around the theater, but I've been lucky to choose seats that were just right! Movies: I've seen a number of movies here: Sinners, the hilarious Bride Hard, action-packed & edge of your seat F1 & most recently, Jurassic World Rebirth! Snacks: A number of delicious snacks, including one of my favorites, chocolate covered almonds! Yum! I also love the cute movie themed snacks/packaging! Parking: Plentiful, shared with other stores and surrounded by beautiful tall, well-manicured, palm trees, and purple flowers! Surroundings: There are a number of restaurants, shopping, and even a gym! Right outside of Theater is a huge, covered area with table and chairs, as well as a waterfall to watch nearby! Went to an early afternoon movie here on a whim after having lunch at Islands. Unless you're using the app, which we didn't have, you have to go inside to the concessions to buy your ticket. Sometimes it's nice to do it the old-fashioned way. I do love being able to select your seat; in that regards, the old-fashioned way wasn't as good. You have to go upstairs for the restroom, but we found a single-family restroom on the main floor. That was our first indication that this theater has been around a while, with the worn tiles and walls. I was happy to see reclining chairs in the theater, but again, those armrests have been around a while. The leg room was great though! You didn't have to put your legs down to let somebody pass. The seats were pretty comfy, though. The movie was supposed to start at 2:45, or the previews were supposed to start then, but they didn't start until about 2:55. While everyone was watching the Super Bowl, I was watching a scary movie at Regal Edwards. I recently uncovered a couple of old Regal Premiere Movie Tickets I earned several years ago, likely pre-COVID, and I didn't see an expiration date on them. I was hoping to see Heart Eyes because Regal was offering a promotion where if you saw that movie during the opening weekend, you could get a free Heart Eyes Valentine's Set, at least while supplies last. It was either this or Love Hurts, which would have earned me 500 extra credits. However, after seeing both movie trailers, I was more interested in Heart Eyes and was hoping to score a gift set. Regal Edwards in Cerritos is located in Cerritos Towne Center on the southeast corner of Bloomfield and Artesia just off the 91 freeway. There's a walkway entrance that says Edwards Cinemas in front, but you have to go to the end of the walkway to reach the movie theater. Similar to the other nearby Regal at the other nearby Towne Center (hint: Long Beach), there is a fountain in front that while not as large, can't be missed if you are passing by. I went up to the ticket office, but there was a sign in front that said tickets needed to be purchased at concessions. I saw this at the La Habra location as well, so I'm starting to think this is a commonality at any Regal you go to. I arrived about a half hour before showtime, and there was a family of four purchasing their tickets at the concessions stand. Rudy was the employee working the concessions stand, and I gave him my Premiere Movie Ticket while letting him know I wanted to watch the Heart Eyes movie. I also had a free small popcorn reward in my account, presumably for joining the Regal Crown Club, and I wanted to redeem that while watching the scary movie. Rudy offered to upgrade my popcorn to a Medium for $1 more or a Large for $2 more. I asked if Regal would offer refills for their popcorn, and Rudy said he believed it would only work for the Large, which sounds plausible since that's the case at Starlight Cinemas in Lakewood too. A Large popcorn is $11.99 while a Small is $9.99, so for $2, I could get $23.98 worth of popcorn, which is a sweet deal! I went with the Large before I even asked what the sizes of the popcorn looked like. Rudy showed the bags for Small and Medium, but the Large came in a pretty big bucket that looked more than twice as much as a Medium. When Rudy showed the seating chart on the screen, the orange color was on a seat that looked great to me that I almost thought the screen read my mind! lol so I chose that seat. There was only one other seat occupied in the very far corner, but oddly enough, I didn't see any other customer that watched the movie with me. Yes, I was the only one in the auditorium who was enjoying the Heart Eyes movie while kicking back with a Large bucket of popcorn. Actually, when I arrived, I heard voices, but it was from a couple of Regal employees chatting with each other. They were directing me to my seat by letting me know where the numbers were on each seat as well as the row letters, which are printed on the wall by the stairs. Unlike the theater in La Habra, this one had seats that actually recline, so it made for a more comfortable viewing experience here. Unfortunately, the seats and the armrests looked to be worn out, but that didn't really affect my comfort level while watching the movie. At first, I didn't see any condiments counter where I could add some flavor to the popcorn, so I went inside the auditorium to find my assigned seat. A few minutes later, I realized I didn't get the Valentine's Set as promised per the Regal promo, so I went back to ask Rudy about it. He wasn't aware of the promotion, but suggested it could be redeemed in the app? I just forgot about it and grabbed some liquid butter on the condiments counter that I had missed earlier. The actual movie didn't start until about 25 minutes after the scheduled showtime. They started playing previews about 5 to 10 minutes before the scheduled showtime, and I was getting annoyed with all these previews. I wish they had cut down on the previews because I was starting to fear I wouldn't be able to make it in time to pick up my dinner later that day. The viewing experience was pretty good, about as comparable as when I watched the Sonic 3 movie at the La Habra location. Sound quality was great. Maybe too great that I accidentally dropped some popcorn during some of the scary scenes. Then again, it did get a little slippery and greasy from all the liquid butter I added before the start of the movie. Also, just like in the Sonic 3 movie, I must caution you about leaving during the first set of credits. I almost would have if I didn't like the song that was playing, but there's actually another scene afterwards before the final credits roll. Overall, I had a good time watching a scary movie here, but I'm still a little disappointed I didn't get that Heart Eyes Valentine's Set :( read more

I was going to get some food but when I noticed that not even the tumbleweeds were here, I feared it, lol. This place could be great if they put a bit of care into it. Me & my bf were in the area so we decided to watch here. It's in a cute shopping center. The sign is rather small once you arrive in the parking area & once you go there it's kind of hidden within the plaza. There were so many doors, we got confused where the entrance was. Once we got inside it was a dead zone. Literally no one in there! We didn't know where to enter with our tickets. Apparently once you enter it leads you to the concession stand & that is where you check in & choose your seats. We thought that was rather odd. After checking in & choosing your seats then you can purchase your snacks. I guess it's normal for the theaters to have overpriced snacks. We were then directed to where our movie was. It's a nice that they had recliner seats. When the movie was over, we looked for the restrooms. Why do they only have 1 restroom on the first floor & the main restroom with multiple stalls is on the second floor? So weird! Not sure this is a place I'd like to return to. read more

My favorite theater spot in the area. They remodel a while back to recliner seats which was nice but they are starting to get a bit worn out. Like the faux leather is starting to strip. I like going on Tuesdays for their movie deal but watch out for the fees if you buy on the app - end up still spending ten bucks a ticket unless you buy at the door. read more

This was our first time at the Regal Edwards. The place was a little worn, but we had a great time. Parking wasn't a problem, which is a plus. It's located in a plaza with a number of stores and restaurants, for which there are ample parking spots. There's a big sign out front that you walk under to get to it. Inside, I noticed that restrooms were all upstairs, except for one single-occupancy restroom on the ground floor to the right. The concession stand was dead center with the hallways to the individual theaters to either side. We saw Moana 2 in theater 10, which was smaller but still had recliner seats. They had seen better days, because the pleather was pretty worn. However, they were clean and comfortable. The movie was a little loud, with my watch app registering a high of about 84 db, but overall it was in the 70s-80s which is about right for a theater. Overall, I can't give it a full 5 stars but we had a great time and would come back again. read more

The theater is located in the back of the shopping center near Niko Niko Sushi. The theater allows patrons to come in to purchase tickets directly since the Box office is no longer used. On days I'm craving theater popcorn I tend to stop by and pick up some for Togo. The theater seats are a bit outdated but overall the theater has been around for 20+ years and just gives nostalgia vibes of growing up and getting to watch the latest movies on the weekends. If you are a Regals member, on Tuesdays they offer 1/2 price tickets and complimentary popcorn upgrades on Popcorn. read more

The theater is outdated but they have recliner chairs, unlike other regal theaters in the area. The staff is nice. The chairs are a little worn out, but the reclining buttons still work. The odd thing about this complex is that there's barely any phone service, but I suppose that shouldn't be an issue if you're watching a movie. read more

The theater is showing its age. The first thing I noticed was how beat up the chairs were. I sat down to find the controls on my chair didn't function very well. It took a little finagling but finally got it into an acceptable position. We came to watch Marvels which is losing quite a bit of money even after the first week but being a Marvel fanatic, I had to find how good/bad it was for myself. The ticket taker was very friendly and helpful so props to her. It feels rather lonely in here tonight. We were in the area after eating at Wood Ranch and we wanted to see few movies. First great looking movie theaters that old school I remember from Edward's Regal back in the day. We had tickets already but had to wait in line and it was busy but understandable with the holiday. We decided to see Lilo & stitch which the seats were comfy that reclined. Then after we saw Mission Impossible both features was great but I was just tripping how amazing these theater looked. The restrooms were clean and the caramel popcorn was warm and delicious. We come again in the future with so many places to eat near by. read more

The manager, a middle age Latina lady was SO RUDE to my husband. She said no!! Customer service. I prebought 2 tickets for a movie on Monday night and when I had arrived it was 8:30 pm movie showing was at 8:20pm. The doors to get inside were locked and one of the managers opened the door (middle aged Hispanic lady). We were greeted with " WHAT?! YES?!" "WE'RE CLOSED" with a pair of rolled eyes . I kindly told her I had tickets for a movie so she lets us in and directed us to the kiosk saying "you can help yourself right there but we're closed so you can only get ur ticket" in a bothered tone I acknowledge her and continued to scan my tickets . Again, "scan the ticket and that's it we're closed" she kept repeating herself that she was closed. I'm on the kiosk and she stands right behind me breathing down my neck and starts to talk to me in a sarcastic tone "helping me with the kiosk". In her words "yOurE goNna PreSs that BuTton.. WoooW and tHeN yOuRe goNna scan tHe tickets OHHHH there you gooo now youve scanned your TiCkeTttsss" Then proceeded to walk away. The kiosk is straight forward and her tone of voice and sarcasm was super uncalled for, the whole interaction was uncalled for.She made me feel belittled by the way she acted and talked to me "helping me" when I didn't ask for her help. One of the best Edwards theaters I have personally been to in all of So Cal. The interior has an old-school type of theater feel to it. Their theaters are more on the minimal seating with reclining chairs and more leg space. Very clean and spacious. Parking: There's plenty of parking but it's in a plaza surrounded by many shops. There will be a few parking lot spaces here and there but you would need to walk about 1-2 mins to your desired store. read more

Conveniently nestled amongst a few decent choices of restaurants and retail stores is Edwards Cinemas Cerritos. There is plenty of parking all around the theatre, and if you show up early, or stick around later, there are many places to grab a few bites, and plenty of outside seating, so that you can catch up on old times or enjoy the moment. The staff here are very friendly, providing service with a smile and always willing to answer any questions you may have. Prices are very reasonable, compared to other movie theatres. Many people balk at theatre concession prices, and understandably so, but i think that has remained very consistant, as it was about the same when i worked at an affiliate theatre 20+ years ago. Might as well get a large popcorn and soda, as you get a free refill, and the price difference is very nominal. This honestly has always been the best value to me. The lobby is always clean, and there are a few video games to keep the kids entertained, and beer for the adults. Seating is assigned, and the seats are fully reclining, in stadium seating style arrangements. Download the Crown Rewards app to earn points on your purchases! Any rewards program that gets you free free without free free bs is worth it! Handicap seating: spaces to park wheelchairs and scooters, whereas companions get actual chairs. Redeeming passes: if you purchased online, make sure you screenshot the barcode and seats, in case the email tickets don't go through. The theatre is located in a busy shopping center with plenty of parking and things to do before and after a movie. (Dining & shopping - or just a leisurely walk). The facility is clean and well maintained. We sat in auditorium 10 in which the volume was way above normal. Various patrons covering their ears, so I went out to find a manager. She was so professional and pleasant. She immediately went and lowered the volume and even came to find me in the theatre to check if the new setting was sufficient. Talk about above and beyond! Everyone seemed to enjoy the movie after. I didn't get her name, but thank you for being awesome! Another reason to see your movies here. Getting a ticket to your movies take about 30 minutes if you choose to watch on this location. Unfortunately the ticket purchase and concessions serves all the customers and no person assigned in the guest services. There are no booths to buy tickets or scan for loyalty members. My son and I had a 8:00 pm showing of captain America at the cerritos regal. The doors outside the theater were already locked and we had to knock to get inside. We arrived at 8:20 inside the theater and were told the concession was already closed...I'm sorry but for the movie to have not even started yet I find it unacceptable for concession to already be closed and throwing out popcorn. I was informed by the manager that since registers were already closed no popcorn could be given out. This is a Terrible INconvenience. And if this is standard for regal as I was told to close concession by 8:20 pm when the movie showing is at 8:00 pm, then maybe regal should rethink this policy to wait at least until the movie has started or even a few minutes after the movie starts. Movie theater needs some work. The outside area is very nice and clean. You now have to go inside to purchase movie tickets at the concussion stands now along with your drinks and food. I do like it's in the towne center. I love the area as it found it relaxing with outside seating everywhere. Inside the theater itself the seats are working fine raising out to put your legs up but the actual seats are old and beat up. They need to redo the seats soon as most are pealing. Just admit - one of the grossest movie experiences I have ever had. It's in a nice area and plaza. But don't be deceived. We watched "The Flash" at their 10pm showing. The cup holders has a brown goo at the bottom of it. So I wasn't comfortable putting my drink in there. The worst place was the bathroom. I used their single stall bathroom downstairs - smelled like piss, the floor and walls were wet, there was loose change in the floor, just dirty.
