I love that they offer an IMAX option for movies, but unfortunately the AC wasn't working when we went during the day, which made it a bit uncomfortable while trying to escape the heat. Aside from that, the snack bar and bar are very convenient, and the bathrooms are always clean and well maintained. Overall, it's still a solid theater experience, and I would come back again for another movie.

Extremely disappointing experience at Starlight Lakewood Center, particularly because of how the…read moresituation was handled by House Manager Jaelyn. My friend and I had tickets for the 9:20 PM showing of Ice Cream Man. Our tickets directed us to Theatre 11. When we arrived around 9:30 PM, there was no movie playing. We found an employee who helped us and determined that our movie was actually playing in Theatre 7, so we missed part of the movie because we had been directed to the wrong auditorium. I want to be clear that this employee was helpful and was not the problem. He told us to go to Guest Services after the movie so the theater could address the mistake and provide a refund or replacement tickets. We did exactly that. At approximately 10:45 PM, we went to Guest Services. A female Starlight employee was standing behind the Guest Services counter using her phone. My friend politely asked if she could help us. She rudely said no. We then asked if she could at least let someone know that customers were waiting for assistance, and she again rudely refused. We later learned from House Manager Jaelyn that this employee was apparently off the clock. We had absolutely no way of knowing that. She was a Starlight employee standing behind the Guest Services counter. Had she simply said, "I'm off the clock, but I can get someone to help you," there likely would have been no issue at all. What turned a frustrating but easily fixable situation into the reason we will not return was Jaelyn's response as the manager on duty. Rather than first asking what had happened, hearing both sides, or attempting to resolve the original problem, Jaelyn escalated the situation and repeatedly focused on having me escorted from the theater. We tried to explain that we were only at Guest Services because Starlight had sent us to the wrong auditorium and their own employee had specifically instructed us to return after the movie for assistance. When I asked Jaelyn whether the incident and our complaint would be documented, I could not get a meaningful answer. I eventually asked for the contact information of a manager above her. She provided a handwritten name and email address for Tricia M. To make matters worse, when I attempted to send my formal complaint to the email address we were provided, the email was returned as undeliverable because the address provided to us was invalid. Mistakes happen. Being sent to the wrong auditorium could have been resolved with an apology and basic customer service. Even the interaction with the employee behind the counter could have been de-escalated quickly. Instead, the house manager escalated the situation rather than resolving it. I have since submitted a formal complaint through Starlight Cinemas' corporate channels and requested management review the incident. We will not be returning to this location. The original theater mistake was frustrating, but the way House Manager Jaelyn handled the situation is ultimately why Starlight Lakewood lost us as customers.

If you are genuinely looking to improve your dance skills, become more precise, and better express yourself on stage, based on what I have seen, NDM is the most effective at achieving this. I want to emphasize that I would say that I improved as much in one month at NDM as I did in three months at other schools. I hate the tuition as well, but despite that, I would say that NDM is worth the investment due to the quality of education and experience.

I was lucky to watch a lot of the show, and I was dancing in my seat and in my heart the entire time. From the song selection that ranged from golden era to now, to the sharp and elegant choreography from every number... and even the dazzling costumes and colors representing SHAADI all across India, I was just blown away and feeling so much pride to be part of this Bollywood dance show. My dance teacher is Mr. Nakul himself, and to say this man is passionate is an understatement. He has dedicated his life to Bollywood dance. I appreciate his style, approach, and commitment to every student as a teacher. He is strict, precise, and his choreography is authentic to Bollywood. He ensures that the whole team meets his vision for the steps he's teaching - and that extreme attention to detail is what I believe sets him and his team apart. I enjoy dance class so much because of Mr. Nakul's energy and the team spirit he helped create in the class. Though I've danced and performed most of my life, this is the first time I'm learning dance professionally through a school. Let me say... I've learned so much as a dancer in the last 9 weeks, and I am very excited to keep learning from the very best! My daughter was in Ms. Ambika's class and my whole family cried happy tears watching her up there doing her performance with such confidence! She was lip-singing, showing Bollywood-esque sassy expressions, and doing those strong, not subtle, tumkas! All I can think is she's only 5 right now... and she's already a star! We owe this to her teacher and NDM studios for (1) creating an environment where the youngest of the batch feel safe, prepared, and are having so much fun to be themselves, (2) setting the bar high so the kids can prove all they got, and (3) for putting on such fantastic productions for our kids to take part in and get inspiration from. Mr. Nakul - I respect you. You have opened up a whole world for me and my soul. Thank you for bringing Bollywood to the USA many years ago with SYTYCD - I'm so very proud to be part of your studio. It is really an honor and a privilege.
