These guys are so awesome and literally turned my night around when my car decided to break down in Jasper, literally an hour and a half from home. Needless to say, I was in a mood, and I turned to my roadside assistance for help and was directed to Certified. Originally, roadside assistance set my car's destination to a Chevrolet dealership, but it's a Toyota, so after I called Kyle to check the status of my tow, he recommended that I have my car towed directly to Certified instead since there's a mechanic there as well. Tow and mechanic? I'm all for it! William was dispatched to our location, and he contacted me when he was on the way and arrived so quickly! He also patiently waited for our ride to arrive before getting the car on the truck. I was amazed at how smoothly everything went considering it was late on New Year's Evening. My car was diagnosed and fixed the very next day. My fiancé was able to pick up the car the following day. The part, labor, and tow totaled to $400. How awesome is that? You guys saved my life! Horrible company. Charged us 2 travel fees to fix a flat. They knew tire size ahead of time, but didn't bring a tube, so charged us for their guy being incompetent. Then charged us 2.5 hrs to fix a flat. Then told the guy to ride the clock until we paid the bill with a credit card, then charged us ANOTHER hour of labor. Giant unethical crooks. We spend about $40k on tires and repairs a year. Guess who won't get any of that business read more

I brought both my truck and RV in for service. While there were multiple issues including unauthorized charges and a significant price discrepancy, my primary concern is that this shop sent my family down the road in an RV with dangerously weak trailer brakes due to incomplete work. The original quote was $3,000. The final bill was over $5,000. While I understood a ~$350 increase for upgraded RV tires (load range E vs G), the remaining ~$1,850 in additional charges was never discussed or approved. On my truck, I agreed to brake replacement and an inspection. When my wife picked it up, she was told I had also authorized an oil change, fuel filter, and engine oil filter replacement. I had not. We had recently had all of that done and were nowhere near due for it again. Those charges were added without my consent. For the RV (leaf spring replacement, bearing repack, and new tires), we specifically scheduled in advance so that the shop could complete the job in one day as they promised. When we picked up the RV, the trailer brakes were dangerously weak. I alerted the employees before we even left the lot, but was told to test them on the road and that they would likely improve. They didn't. As it was already past business hours, I decided to call first thing the next morning. The owner sent the same workers to my location, but they only inspected one brake, then left without finishing or notifying us even though my wife was outside the entire time. The owner became defensive, incorrectly insisted that checking one brake was enough to diagnose all of them, and stated he couldn't spare his workers to return. I was left to perform the diagnostic troubleshooting myself and confirmed that the brakes had not been properly adjusted after the hub service, a standard required step explicitly listed on my invoice as part of the job. The owner never returned my follow-up calls. The safety of my family was put at risk due to incomplete work. Use this shop with caution. read more

My roadside assistance booked this company to come to my rescue when I was broke down. Traveling out of state and breaking down in an unknown area can be very scary. Thankfully, James was prompt and professional. He went out of his way to be accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. James was very friendly and had a great attitude. 10 STARS!! I have never been so satisfied with a tow service. I own a company with numerous commercial vehicles, plus personal, so I've had plenty of experience with tow companies due to mechanical issues. We broke down on 75 about 20 miles south of Valdosta. Brian arrived in 30 minutes (I was told 30-45 and expected it to take an hour lol). There were 6 of us in the car on our way to Orlando. Brian patiently waited as we tried desperately to find an Uber, Lyft or taxi. Waited while the taxi driver took forever to get to us. Because there were no rental cars available anywhere, we ended up spending the night in Valdosta. Brian brought two of us to the hotel and helped us unload all our luggage before towing it to the transmission place nearby. I was incredibly stressed and couldn't think to solve my own problems. The taxi didn't have room for all our bags, let alone all 6 of us (we were told it would seat 6!). Brian is the one who suggested taking us and the luggage back to the hotel. Fantastic service! I was stuck on I 10 in a motorhome for almost 24 hours thanks to Good Sam jerking me around. They sent a mechanic out who tried to get me going before they sent out the wrecker. They had my best interests in mind doing that. Turns out my fuel system was full of air due to a failed injector. Needed a tow. And what a fantastic job. We were in a dangerous, difficult spot and they got me out of it no problem. I cant say enough good things about how we were treated. read more

Certified Towing is awesome at ripping people off so if you're interested in getting gouged I highly recommend them. My vehicle was towed on a Wednesday evening by Jimmy's towing at a cost of 154.50. on Friday evening of the same week Certified towing towed it from a half mile away from the same place and didn't tow it as far as Jimmy's but charged me 209.50 and refused me a receipt saying I'd have to come back to the office on Monday knowing I was from out of State. I'm completely confused on how I was charged so much more and the distance was only around 9 miles from starting point to end point. Plainly ripped off.. read more

Gregory V. : I have dealt with liars in the past, but you are the worse. I informed your employee of the damage to my motorhome leveling jack when it was done. You were not there at the time. I informed you of the damages when you arrived the next day. If damaging the motorhome leveling jack wasn't bad enough, you tried to scam me out of $270.00, saying Good Sams didn't pay the entire bill. Also you were aware of dragging the chrome exhaust on the railroad crossing when leaving Suwannee river state park, because you got out of your tow truck and looked. I have no idea what previous damages you were referring to on my motorhome. There was no other damage near the area damaged by your company. The pictures you were taking were below the rear window where some delamination had taken place. I also have a letter from Live Oak Diesel, the repair shop where you dropped off the motor home for the steering box repair, stating I asked him to check the left front jack when the motorhome was left there. In this letter he stated the jack was bent. Stopping it from retracting completely. My insurance company sent out a independent appraiser familiar with motorhome jacks and the proper way they are to be towed. He approved the claim and stated these jacks are not to be used for the purpose you attempted to use them. Good Sams has escalated this matter to responsible team members for review. Also, Allstate Insurance has escalated this claim to a senior customer resolution specialist. This is not settled at all I don't like liars or scammers. read more

They/This Company were sent to my property in McAlpin, FL to extricate a Chevrolet Traverse, by my SF Insurance Company, the vehicle was stuck in mud about 100' off the road on my private property. It took them three hours to even appear. Two trucks later, one flat bed with a winch [which became stuck after calling me a sh*thead upon arrival for first getting stuck on my own property that vehicle sunk to the front axle then they sent] a second larger truck to extricate the first which also got stuck at various points on my property. My cost was $345.00 and they never got my Traverse even close to the road. Instead they tore up my property. I was just happy to get rid of them. Consider this your warning. I would never even consider wasting my time, forget the money, in calling this profoundly inept group of individuals to recover any of my vehicles no matter where they got stuck or for whatever reason they needed recovery. BEWARE! I would not recommend using this towing service. You are way better off using Ford or Chevrolet. These people caused alot of damage to my brothers car and refused to do anything about it. I had a flat tire once and I was told they would arrive in about 20 minutes. I called them back 3 hours later and they were not even on their way yet! They were not apologetic about it at all and totally rude!!!! They said it is within their policy to take as much time as they need! They will never get another penny from me or anyone in my family. Their service gets 5 stars.. it can't get any better!! Our experience was awesome with Certified Towing with our broken down 45 feet Navigator RV on I-75 north bound little north of Valdosta, GA. Greg is very friendly, accommodating with an excellent communication skills. These folks here at Certified Towing helped me out on a 75 north bound by towing my huge 45 feet diesel bus and solved/ repair electrical break-down problem along with some exhaust work. Highly recommended for those who are stuck in a non-familiar roads especially on I-75 and I-10 crossing areas of Florida and Georgia. Good Sam brought them to me but I would suggest whenever you call your AAA or Tow service # ask them that you want Certifies Towing to help you as they are not just a tow people but great service on your RVs, Big trucks or small cars too!
