I had Certified Transmission in Blue Springs replace my transmission in my Chevy Silverado. Sean and his team did a great job and installed in a very fast turn around. Actually faster than I expected. Warranty on their work is great with 3 years 100,000 miles. The cost to replace a transmission isn't cheap but still better than buying a new truck these days. Overall very satisfied with Certified Transmission's work. My only suggestion I'd offer...make sure floors mats are delivered back to the customer clean. read more

I reached out to them and they told me I needed a lot of work to my car totaling $1,354.00 I took it to get a 2nd opinion and it cost $388. I'm really feel they were trying to make money off of us. I would be careful and get a second opinion if it doesn't feel right. read more

Excellent experience with this shop. Friendly & professional staff. I had no previous experience with this shop. We were having transmission problems with my son's mustang. They found the transmission in good condition and the fluid was simply low. They did not try to up-sell me. They gave me options of simply getting the fluid to proper level or servicing the transmission changing the filter. We chose the latter and it was completed for a reasonable $300. Brought my vehicle in for a second opinion after the first shop said I needed a new transmission and wanted 2grand. Scott was the service manager and made me feel right at home. He knew I was passing through on my way back to Arizona and they could easily have followed the 1st shops diagnosis (rhymes with Rambo) and try to sell me a rebuilt tranny, but instead went with replacing a few electrical components and the tranny check valve 1st to see if this would resolve my issue with my overdrive turning off and my tranny overheating. $300 bucks later I was on my way and just finished a 1200 mile drive with no issues. Love this shop! They're honest and willing to give cheaper fixes a shot before taking it to the next level. Highly recommend these guys! read more

I do not recommend this company at all. They charged my daughter $80 and in about 10 minutes time told her she needed a brand new transmission and it would be about $4200. We later the same day went somewhere else and got it fixed for $700 and now it is running great and it definitely was not the transmission itself. What a rip off also to charge her $80 for nothing. After several misdiagnoses of an issue with my car, finally arrived at transmission as the possible source of the problem. At the recommendation of another service center took the car to Certified Transmission in Blue Springs, MO. They quickly isolated the issue and said there was a relatively minor repair that would most likely remedy the issue. They could have stuck me with a MAJOR transmission diagnosis that resulted in an exorbitant price & I would have been none the wiser, however, the $60 repair job fixed the problem and I drove away a happy camper.
