The next day, I just had to go back, and this time I had a lunch special: Chow mein, fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken were included in that. It tasted WAY better than the Chinese food you get at the usual chain places. I highly recommend you visit this place if you like tasty food, especially along the lines of pasta or Chinese food. I believe their Mexican food tastes great as well, but I did not try it. There are plenty of places to sit and the waitress lady was so nice; I had some wonderful conversations with her.

What a pleasant surprise! My wife and I are driving through Grangeville, Idaho, and need to find a…read moreplace to eat dinner. The few Yelp reviews for The Melting Pot intrigued us, so in we went. My first impression is that this is one of those small town restaurants that takes me back to my childhood. Dark paneling on the walls, booths with big padded bench seats, and a radio playing 70's rock in the background. There is even a bead curtain divider into the hallway that leads to the restroom. Before we are even seated, I whisper to my wife, "I love this place!" But nevermind the decor, let's get on with the food. It's hard to imagine one kitchen that can turn out Italian, Chinese, and Mexican food (and burgers too), and then do it well. I'm happy to say that The Melting Pot appears to pull it off. My wife had a delicious Italian pesto dish, and I got Mongolian Chicken, which was also really good. I ordered it with a Spicy level of "Hot" (the choices were: Mild, Medium, and Hot), and it was not at all too spicy, but rather had a light kick to it. The veggies tasted fresh, and the chicken was cooked perfectly tender. It was an awesome dinner. The place is clean, the service is great, and the food was really good! What more can you ask for! I'd like to go back someday, so that we can try other dishes, since the menu was pretty big. ========== I have the worst thesaurus in the world. It is awful. In fact, it's awful.

My favorite salad and chicken tenders never disappoint either. Before coming here, I actually drove around the area for quite a while trying to find somewhere to enjoy dinner, but after looking at several places, I still ended up choosing The Land because I knew it would not disappoint me. And of course, the cocktails were excellent too. I had a really difficult day that day, but after a good meal here, my mood became so much better. I left feeling relaxed, recharged, and happy again. Also, thank you to the lovely girl who welcomed us so warmly. I'm sorry I didn't fully remember your name, but I hope to see you again soon. And as always, I highly recommend Andrew's cocktails. You can truly tell he takes cocktail making seriously. The flavors are balanced beautifully -- the fresh mint aroma was perfectly infused into the drink, the alcohol taste was incredibly smooth, and the strength was just right for that relaxed, slightly tipsy feeling.

Grilled chicken sandwich (held the pickles)-very goid. Big enough to feel satisfying but not overly full . Fries with "fry sauce " is a must try. A must try if around for WSU move in.

I ordered a fruit cup and a green tea, and my coworker also got a fruit cup along with a coffee. The green tea was good, and everything was served quickly. Our waitress was friendly and provided great service. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere of the café.. there were lots of cool decorations and unique things to look at on the walls that gave the place a fun vibe. Overall, it was a great spot for a quick breakfast before work. I'd definitely recommend stopping by Mystic Café if you're looking for a nice breakfast spot with good service and a welcoming atmosphere!

The restaurant is divided into an indoor dining area and a coffee house section. I came here for a quick breakfast and decided to dine in at 7:15 AM on a weekday. [Parking]: Easy parking in the designated parking lot on a weekday morning, but the lot can get crowded during busy lunch hours. With that being said, it shouldn't be difficult to find additional street parking in this part of town. [Atmosphere & service]: Cozy and comfortable vibe. Service was fairly standard and my waitress did offer a coffee refill so a thumbs-up. Live music available on every Friday evenings. [Menu]: Some of Yelp's top recommended items include the Steak Salad, Kale Salad, and Beet Salad. The breakfast menu is served from 7 AM to 10:45 AM Monday to Saturday. It was hard to figure out what their signature dish was so I ended up ordering the Lobster Benedict. *** Lobster Benedict (poached eggs / lobster / sliced tomato / spinach / hollandaise sauce / chives / english muffin - $17): Not horrible, but not amazing either. I could taste a hint of shredded lobster. The hollandaise sauce was alright. The hash browns just weren't as good as those hash browns at Frank's Diner in Spokane. *** One of those places that's fine for a casual local breakfast or lunch, but at the same time this spot is not exactly a must-visit.
