This is a nice sized restaurant in what is a pretty decent sized mall. There are plenty of food options around, but this one is a non-chain stand out. They have burgers, sandwiches, salads, and other items. From what we had today, it's clear they use fresh ingredients and aren't skimpy with what they give you. The Southwest pita I had was excellent and just spicy enough to give a kick, but not be miserable. The burgers at our table were generously sized and I'm told were very good. I'll also add that the curly fry side is a good choice. Super tasty and plentiful. Ordering is at the counter and they drop the food off at your table when ready. Self bussing is the expectation. Paradise Cafe. Lots to choose from. Settled on the brisket sandwich which was tasty with a hefty amount of brisket and coleslaw (though I would've liked more sauce!) The jojos were right out of the fryer and their dipping sauces were flavorful. Steeper prices you'll pay here, but my sandwich was good and I only ate half so I could have the rest the next day. Brisket was tender! Located in the Palouse Mall, it's a quaint eatery if you need a break from shopping. It has GF options as well, so most people would enjoy their menu. No idea why it has great reviews. My husbands burger fell apart immediately, his chips were burned as heck, my burger was mid and the bacon on it was burned terribly, tasted like ash. My fries were burned and soggy as well. Staff also seemed inconvenienced to be taking our order as well, even though we were not the only ones and we arrived over an hour before closing. I thought the food was quite good - here are the details: We went in on a Sunday afternoon. A lot of the tables inside the restaurant space were full, but we just went out to the mall space for a quieter, emptier space. The worst part of our experience was that it took a surprisingly long time to get our food. It was rather surprising, actually. We did feel better about the wait when the food came. I got the burger with brisket. I normally think the brisket probably won't be great since they're just slapping it on top of a burger. However, it was really tender and tasty. Thumbs up for that burger! I got what they bill as "curly fries" with the burger. In my definition of fries, these were what I would call "shoestring fries" with some curl to some of them. I'm not a big fan of these type of fries, but considering that, they were pretty good. My wife got the potato wedges, which she thought were better than my fries, but I thought the wedges were a little too done and a little too salty. All included, the value and food at this place make it worth a trip. Just be careful if you're in a hurry! read more

I added grilled chicken and it was juicy with a smoky flavor that really pulled the whole thing together. The portion was bigger than I thought which was a nice surprise. This is my favorite restaurant of all time! I've been coming here for a year now almost weekly to get smoothies. The strawberry banana smoothie is to die for, I'm obsessed. Tried their kale caesar salad and honestly it was better than most caesars I've had. The dressing was creamy and garlicky without being too heavy and the croutons were crunchy and seasoned well. Not a great cook, but I know when one is doing their best and I know when a place is ran well. Paradise delivers on both. The staff are amazing. They actually remember their customers! The staff are kind to others and to their team members. Now, the food. It's always consistently done well. Like, every time. It's made to order and in a fair amount of time. I was thinking n town for homecoming and was trying to find a place with an allergen menu. The young blonde girl with glasses working the cash register couldn't be any ruder. I tried to tell her my allergies so she could at least narrow down the menu since they dont mark anything on it. She cut me off and told me she wasn't going to read the menu to me and I could read it myself. The least she could have said was that they have gluten free buns. I would have given 1 star due to her terrible attitude but gave 2 because the food was actually good. The guy serving the food couldn't have been any friendlier. Yeya! I was skeptical but after we ate here it was a hit. Every town needs a grill cafe where juicy burgers are made to eat without ketchup (if you so choose). Finally gave this place a try and we're SO glad we did. I saw another review bashing their prices so I wanted to address that first -- their beef is locally sourced and their portions are huge, we paid $40 for two whole specialty sandwich meals, two drinks, a large milkshake, and tip. Their sandwiches are nearly a foot long. We are sitting here absolutely stuffed and having eaten half of what we got so it is not overpriced at all -- their sodas are $2 for a large 32oz, which is unheard of these days unless you get a can. My boyfriend and I are big eaters but we could still easily split a sandwich or get two half ones off the menu. We tried the pulled pork and French dip with wedges and curly fries. Their curly fries are freshly cut in-house and delicious, way better than any other ones we've had. The au jus was great, better than Birch & Barley's. I'm a ranch snob and theirs was to die for, almost tasted a hint of garlic in it. Tangy, creamy and absolutely delicious. We would have liked a little more BBQ sauce on the pulled pork sandwich, but we decided to experiment and dip it in the au jus (not bad, in case anyone was wondering). The place was moderately busy while we were there, nothing over the top and I think the staff operates on Hawaiian time. From the time two of us placed our order it took 45 minutes to get the food. Yes, a still operating Mall in todays world of online shopping. Nice relaxed atmosphere with plenty of tables to spread out. The Sandwich? I went for a Cuban... not a traditional Cuban here, but it had wonderful flavor, and it worked! Mustard was spot on! Pickles and Onion mixed and woke my tastebuds up! Really enjoyed that I could order just a half as a whole would be too much for lunch. Servers were friendly and quick. You order at counter, get a number stand, and choose a table. They have the best salt available in the area. Aside from that, the portions of salt flavored food are huge. This place is tailored to the meat and potatoes. Burgers are good but would be better without the added sodium. Salt bacon on a sandwich, you got it! Don't get the veggie pita because there are no veggies in it. Just lettuce and sauces/dips. I lamented the loss of the little cafe that was in the same space before Paradise Grill and Cafe moved in. They had great service, great beer, great food, and a more small-town America vibe and decor. First time I went to the new place, my brother warned me that it had a "woke" vibe, but that the burgers were amazing. We walked in and the cooks in back were joking and laughing; a good sign when the cooks are happy. The counter person was a college girl and was very pleasant and smiling. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with fry sauce and curly fries on the side. The food arrived within 15 minutes and I was amazed at the portions. Huge! Then I tasted the fries and the burger. So good, it was almost a religious experience. That was about two years ago. I have since been back once every couple of months and every time, the food is amazing and nothing to find fault with. Today, I had the Luau Chicken sandwich for the first time. I didn't think I could find a better sandwich than their Chicken Bacon Ranch, but the Luau was epic! It was so good, that I had to tell the head cook just how impressed I was with it. If you are on the fence about this place, you need to go! read more

This cafe has, not surprisingly, survived Covid because the food is consistently great, with friendly servers. I love their homemade chips, BLTs and daily soups. Paradise Cafe located at the Mall in Moscow Idaho is a somewhat new business so I had to check it out. The atmosphere inside is very laid back with vibrant colors even a reading and game area. Overall the cafe is clean maybe because it was after the rush lunch is why numerous self seating tables were not clean. It was girls day with my daughter we ordered a BLT, Fries and two sodas. You order at the counter then seat yourself and wait for your food. My annoyance with ordering is when I paid with my debit card there was the famous place to put the tip amount. This works my nerve a smidge because tips are earned not to be expected. However clearly being in good spirits I left 10% tip which brought the total to over $15 for a sandwich, fries and two drinks OUCH! We sat ourselves and waited not too long for the food to arrive. The food quality was excellent and fresh. A standard portion of food that we spilt and we were both full. We put our waste in the trash (10% tip for what?) and were in our way. What I did appreciate was the paper straws and the bathroom sign:) Highly probable I will return here to try some different menu items because the food quality is excellent. Really happy with this place. Friendly workers, and really good food. My daughter had the grilled cheese, which was nothing special, but the curly fries and accompanying fry sauce were really yummy.
