Service was friendly, but the food left a lot to be desired. Hamburger looked like it was boiled rather than grilled and flavorless. Fish was overly breaded and pulled out of its bread coffin, and it was less flavorful than the burger. Owners are trying to sell, and maybe that's why there's no love in the food. read more

Staying in Grangeville for the night, we were looking for a restaurant with good comfort food. Finding the online menu for Seasons was very convenient, so we found they had exactly what we were looking for. Upon arrival, we were greeted in a friendly manner, and shown to a booth. I ordered the Steak & Mushroom Alfredo, which was fantastic, and a very generous helping. My partner ordered the ribeye, which was done to perfection, just as she requested. The sides were very tasty as well. We didn't have room for dessert, but the homemade pies looked fantastic! The staff checked on us often during the meal, keeping our beverages full & making us feel welcome. Parking was easy - right out front of the restaurant. We enjoyed the décor - very appropriate for a restaurant with the name 'Seasons'. We'll definitely be dining here again on our way through town! read more

Stopped by as we were driving through from Moscow to Nampa. Was very impressed with this place! Nice interior, felt comfy and welcoming. The wait staff was very attentive, the music level was at a volume where you can actually have a conversation at the table without yelling. Very clean place. Food: I had the guacamole burger with tater tots, my husband had a Philly cheesesteak with fries. Generous portions and very delicious. The food cane out right away with hardly a wait. They keep it like an icebox in the dining room. All 5 of us in our party were freezing and several of us always feel it's hot. Hostess and waitress were awkward and unable to communicate without it being uncomfortable. Food was luke warm at best and all main dishes were mediocre. Chicken rice soup as the starter was excellent, but unfortunately cold so....meh. Pasta dishes give about 1/2 a lb. of dry pasta. We weren't sure what to expect in Grangeville, being it's such a small town with so few dining options. We decided to go to Seasons (1 of about 3 choices) for dinner. We both ordered burgers, but I upgraded my side to their onion rings for an extra dollar and asked for grilled onions instead of raw. Everything was tasty and the onion rings were crispy and not greasy. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but for $26 for two people with upgraded sides and a drink (including tax), you can't beat it. We couldn't have even gotten fast food for that price. All in all, at that price point, it was a solid four stars. read more

We came for the special "Steak bites and Butterfly Shrimp". It was amazing and more than enough to eat! 4 Shrimp and several bite sixe (haha) steak bites. The bites had to be cut up into 3 or 4 pieces, so you get your money's worth for sure! Our server was excellent! She was funny, knowledgeable, just the right amount of checking on us. Great attitude, and we will come back for both the food and service. The restaurant is very family friendly, think home town goodness when you were growing up. We were greeted well when we first went in. The place is comfortable enough, even though it was really busy it didn't seem that loud. A girl brought menus and quickly recited the specials, said or server would be over soon and quickly rushed off although she was nice, it just seemed quick. Our very nice server showed up for drinks came back quickly with them and took our orders. As soon as our food was done she brought it to us and refilled our drinks and rushed off to be very busy in other places. I could tell by watching she was a hard worker. But we had our food and I guessing she didn't think she needed to check on us. Our fish was unlike what we were led to believe it was, tender and delicious. It was good as far as the fish goes but the breading was overcooked and very hard, made it tough to eat. It even tasted burnt. We waited for our server to check on us and it took about 45 minutes before she finally came back arrive, but she looked like she was on another mission and she stopped quickly to see how we were doing. We told her about the fish and she took it to get new ones made, explained that it was not there regular fish and that it was all coming out darker than usual. And sure enough, we got it and it was again dark and burnt. So we opted for the offered dessert rather than another dish. My steak was cooked correctly and the chili burger tasted good although I would have rather had the burger patties cooked a bit less. The dessert was really really good, we got the Cherry Berry Pie with vanilla ice cream. Although the service was less than expected, and the good was a bit troublesome, we have 4 stars. Stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday while traveling through Grangeville. My wife and I both had Salads; be sure and order the 'half' size as 'their full size is huge' according to our waitress! She was correct; half size satisfied our appetites; they were delicious with lots of various items in our salad. Decided to try their 'most popular' pie...huckleberry-peach crumb! Not a common variety of pie but it was very delicious, particularly when warmed up and vanilla ice cream added! Mighty delicious!!! Service was quick and friendly even though they were busy with customers coming and going. The only issue I had was settling our check; got the bill but took longer than I expected to get them to take our money and give us change...not sure if we were supposed to go to their cashier (not very evident). A different waitress finally noticed my waving and picked up our money; a different employee brought our change! Will definitely return when traveling through Grangeville again!!! read more

Dinning area is clean, bathrooms are clean, could use some up-dating but that's what is fun about small town places! The bacon cheeseburger was a winner! The beef patty was seasoned perfectly and the meat was very fresh. Bun was pretty, but a little dry. Fries were ok, if they upped their fry game by making hand made fries this meal would be even that more delish! Very reasonably priced place and the server was very kind. Perfect restaurant with a large variety of foods on the menu. The food was very good, I had a salad that was like a Cobb salad but with almonds. It was very large and I didn't think I would be able to finish but it was so good I ate it all. The service was very quick and attentive. We were passing through and spending the night. I ordered the Rib Eye and the wife ordered ribs. Both items were fantastic. The topper was the Chocolate MALTED. The real deal. You could actually taste the malt. The service was good even though they were slammed. We were coming through, looking for some lunch and hoping to find some pie too. Such an unexpected surprise to find Seasons! The atmosphere is relaxing and laid back. We got soups and salads and they were all a great size, fresh, and delicious. We saw that they had pie & ice cream for $5 and had to give it a try - and we are so happy we did. The pie came out hot and they didn't skimp on the ice cream. Fresh fruit used in the pies and the crust will melt in your mouth. If you're going to try anything, try that. Ok- a few positives- the place is clean, the staff friendly and attentive, and there is a 5$ children's menu that includes a drink. The negative was that the jalapeño burger was very greasy, too much cheese and far too much "spicy mayo" sauce. The lettuce should have been iceberg, not outer piece of romaine. I split one with my husband and the excess grease had me with tummy pains within a few minutes of eating it. No good. Traveling from McCall to Lewiston, we decided to stop in Grangeville for lunch because Seasons Restaurant had good reviews. No regrets! It was before 11:30 on a Tuesday morning and the dining room was quickly filling up. We ordered a Reuben with fries and the Cheesesteak with tater tots. The Reuben was yummy! Lots of pastrami and sauerkraut on a nice rye bread. The fries were the best I've had in a long time and it was clear they were frying them in fresh oil! The cheesesteak was tasty, but the Reuben was better. The prices are reasonable and the waitstaff very friendly. Like you'd expect in a sweet small town like Grangeville. Good burger. I got the man burger and added some japs from my mom's burger. It was really good like that. The bacon might have overloaded the other flavors a little but I wasn't put off by it. They have a pretty good menu and I would go back if I drove through to explore it. Great travel spot to stop. read more

I asked several people in town, where is the best restaurant? All of them said Seasons. And then I drove around a little bit to look at the other restaurants. Seasons was the only one that was packed. There wasn't an empty seat in the house. Of course, you know, that always tells you something about the quality of food. I had the ribeye and "crab claw" special, with a loaded baked potato and salad. The ribeye was wonderful and tender Idaho beef, and the crab claws were amazingly fresh and delicious. As good as it was, for some silly reason, they served mushy (canned?) green beans with it. It's funny, if this restaurant was in a big city, it definitely would not rank more than three or four stars. But in this tiny little town, it's the closest thing you will find to a five-star experience. I definitely enjoyed the experience. read more
