I've been told to try this place for years now and finally got the chance to do so! I'm so glad I did a spontaneous trip to Lake park. It really is a hole in the wall eatery. It may not look fancy but it definitely is a place for good food and drinks. They have a huge bar right in the middle of the restaurant. Decided to order their Peruvian Japanese fusion sushi and causa acevichada, ceviche mixto. Everything was delicious but the cold potato from the causa caught us off guard. It was still good though! Service was great. They always made sure to check up on us. Must come back to try their hot entrees!

Finally got to visit Ceviche Arigato. Have heard many good things about this place and was looking forward to checking it out. Glad we did. The place is comfortable and romantic lit, it's a treat to come in and slow down. The menu is surprisingly large with so many amazing looking dishes. We began with a potato cheese appetizer. It is served with ceviche but for my people, we had that on the side, see the pics. I enjoyed the ceviche which was bright and cool. The fresh lime with the light fish and red onion was a treat after a long hot day. We paired the appetizer with cocktails. A couple of us had the gin and tonic (Gin'ca Tonic) and one had the mojito. The gin is a Peruvian gin with a very different flavor profile than is typical for gin, and I thoroughly enjoyed the difference. It also has fresh lime juice mixed it which kept the drink quite crisp and refreshing. The mojito was very nice but there are a couple local places with a more Cuban/Miami type mojito but this was not bad, we've just had better. You decide. Dinner was chicken and rice for others while I hade the mix: churasco, chicken, and seafood. That was spectacular because it was flavorful without being spicy hot. To me the flavor is unique so it stood out in a great way. The staff was attentive and quite good. The overall ambiance was relaxed and casual with very little noise, it was a treat to enjoy a meal and good conversation without too loud of music or noisy patrons, the vibe was relaxed and you could tell everyone was enjoying the time there. Looking forward to our next visit. Gonna try something else!!

Found this place by accident. We were trying to go to the Ghana restaurant that appears to be closed when we saw this place down the street. The outside of the restaurant looks rundown but the inside is done up very nicely and had a wonderful aroma. We had a great meal all three of us and can't wait to go back.

Good food, good service. Nice and spacious inside. The shrimp was amazing and fettuccine delish. The sushi is overpriced and tasted premade, the rice was cold and hard, then it appears they add layers of fish or avocado on top with some sauce to give the impression of being freshly made but you really can't mask premade sushi rolls. Otherwise enjoyed the food and vibe overall would return for Peruvian dishes.

"Lomo Saltado" Risotto (or whatever that was)

Good service. Terrible food. We came here for Labor Day to celebrate and ordered a bunch of food. Unfortunately almost all of it sucked. What bothered me the most was the "lomo saltado". It was overcooked and it was more like a beef stew. Very disappointed.

Let's start off with the best part... the food! The ceviche was fresh and delicious. The trio was so good! The lomo salado is probably the best I have had, the meat was so tender where other places their meat is chewy and tough. The cheesy risotto was delicious... in those salado juices (chefs kiss ). The creme brûlée was also delicious . We went late into the evening and the place was packed, the sat us in the back under two AC vents and it was freezing! We asked to move and they changed our seats... we waited for a while to even be recognized... and the whole time we had to constantly ask for our server. It's like they just ignored us which was frustrating. My boyfriend has been at lunch time and he said it is better but honestly it's very disappointing. I am willing to give them a second chance only because the food was so good.

Fettuccine a La Huancaina, Chaufa mariscos, lomo roll

Great Peruvian food! Been here many times, and they are always consistent with the food, great service and a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend the Fettucine Al La Huancaina everyone was stealing it from my plate!

We came here and had fun!…read more Pro tip: To get a spot at the hibachi table, make sure to call ahead of time. You may have a quiet fun traditional hibachi dinner, or the craziest night of your life if the owner himself is serving you. The owner and another chef were rotating between tables and were really pleasant and fun! It seemed like not everyone was a huge fan of the owner and how honest he was about his political and personal views, but we found him fun, entertaining and the slightest bit unhinged in the best possible way. The food itself was very high quality for hibachi. We got the chicken and beef and were really surprised by even the basic beef option being high quality and cooked perfectly. The quality of the soups is much better too than other hibachi places and it's definitely a local favorite! If you don't mind socializing with other families and different personalities, this is a fantastic place to dine! Stop by and try it!

Nicely decorated and all the employees were welcoming, friendly, fast and efficient. The food was delicious, but a couple of my favorite items were absent, so I had to make a couple substitutions. I had the beef negimiaki, clear soup and filet mignon teriyaki. The flavors were so good and the teriyaki had an abundance of vegetables and quite a bit of filet, cooked perfectly. It's a great little place that deserves a visit.

I truly love this restaurant, which is why this review is hard to write. This time, the food wasn't spectacular like it usually is. It was still good and totally edible, just not the "wow" factor I've always expected from here. The service, however, is always good. The staff is friendly and attentive, and that's one of the reasons we keep coming back. I do think the restaurant is due for some renovations, especially the bathrooms!!!. they feel outdated and not very clean, which takes away from the experience. Especially when we are always spending minimum $200 minimum for 2 people We still always have a good time here and I've never had a bad experience overall. I'm only sharing this because I care and hope the owners put some attention back into the restaurant so it can continue being the place we've loved for so long.

Separating the sushi bar area and the other booths and tables they have a row of various colorful sake bottles on top of the room divider. The sushi bar is huge. We sat in a regular booth. They also have some booths with heated grills in the middle of the tables. We had very friendly and accommodating service. There was one lady waiting on everyone and even though they were fairly busy at lunch time, she was handling everything quite well. The lunch menu is large with lots of choices from noodle dishes to bento boxes. They even had a couple Korean options. It took a bit to make a decision of what to order. I chose one of the lunch specials that came with either miso soup or house salad. I got the salmon teriyaki. I started with their house salad with ginger dressing. The entree had two pieces of salmon over mixed vegetables (zucchini, onions, bok choy, and carrots) and a mound of white rice, on the side. My husband chose the "sushi combo" from the sushi lunch special section. He had the house salad to start. This entree included 5 pieces of sushi (chef's choice) and 4 pieces of California roll. We thought the food was very good and the prices were quite reasonable. And we both said that we'd definitely like to return here.

My garlic chicken was very good, full of vegetables and with rice on the side. My only suggestion is that the sauce needs to be a little thicker with more garlic. I appreciate and liked the presentation, it came in a small bowl instead of on the plate with the rice. Highly recommend you give Kati a try.
