After Church, my wife were really hungry and were in the Palm Beach Gardens, FL area for a little relaxation. We have eaten at other La Granja restaurants in the past and they never disappointed us. This location was big, with a bar, and we arrived there with only one other couple in the place. It was right at opening so there weren't many people. However, once we ordered, people state pouring in and we had the feeling that this place was good and popular. The food came out. We had to pick it up from a central serving station. We ordered a lot! Chicken wings, rice and plantains. It smelled so good and fragrant. One thing we missed was the toppings bar at the front of the restaurant. Darn! It would have been nice to put some peppers and onions on our wings. However, the food was hot, delicious and satisfying. There was so much! The servers were friendly and accommodating as well as the cashier. The cost was reasonable as well. The place was clean, organized and comfortable. All in all, we would recommend a visit soon, especially to this location! read more

First time here and this place was packed I'm assuming the time frame lunch time. There is a huge menu board and you order food and they give a light hockey puck and when it beeps loud you walk to the front and they give you your food ..there are also customers waiting for take out and a bar with only shots only and beer . There are tables to sit and eat or you can eat at the bar .. Fast paced environment and very loud.. They restaurant is very clean and they staff was very friendly. I order the steak and yellow rice and beans and plantains and my husband order the seafood platter on yellow rice . The food was fresh and hot and my steak was cooked perfectly seasoned just right , oh I forgot to mention by the front entrance on the side there are all kinds of delicious sauces. I did add garlic and onion sauce to my steak . My steak was the whole plate.. huge .. they don't disappoint on the portions.. yellow rice was amazing with black beans and the plantains were my favorite and for my husband dish the whole platter was yellow rice with seafood shrimp and clams. He said it was delicious also his first time here..big portions. The price is right ...Overall awesome experience and food was amazing and we did have to take home food nothing went to waste .. we will be back to try other items on the menu... read more

I ordered my food to go and was told that it would take around 15 mins. I decided to read a book in my car while I waited, and within 10 minutes the beeper that they gave me started to buzz indicating that my food was ready. The time it took was a pleasant surprise because I was truthfully prepared to wait at least 20 mins. The young woman who took my order was so kind and welcoming! Food: The food was amazing! We stopped by on a rainy afternoon because this looked convenient and there was ample parking. The line which had already formed led me to believe that many others thought this was a good place too. Then the first surprise. When ordering, the order entry person didn't understand English. We restated it in Spanish and that worked out. Then I had a question about the seafood soup, as to whether it's laden with salt. She didn't understand the question and after repeating it several times answered yes. I ordered it anyway and she was incorrect. There was hardly any salt which to me, was great. I'm glad I didn't listen to her prior to ordering. It took a long time to get our food. I am talking about 25 minutes and this is a semi fast food place. The reason they get three stars is that the soup was actually delicious. Fresh shrimp, calamari and fish in a rich broth with a touch of coconut milk. The ceviche was okay, nothing spectacular. Rice and beans were average. read more

The kitchen in this quick-service Peruvian chain restaurant has it going on. "Fried fish chunks" were surprisingly delicate and accompanied by delightful pickled onions and a very good tartar sauce. The "sauteed beef" was really just a good iteration of lomo saltado. The "chicken salad" was grilled chicken over a surprisingly well dressed lettuce, tomato, and onion salad. The mango juice also got rave reviews. The desserts looked good (3 leches _and_ 4 leches cake...apparently you can have as many leches as you want). Not sure what the pre-packaged food service container of ranch dressing was for. I ignored it. Folks are also helpful and efficient. Bathrooms are clean (with weirdly tall doors). read more

At any location, they serve delicious and fresh food. Take out or in restaurant; they serve in great portions which allows me to save it for leftovers if need be. I usually order the 1/2 lb steak with grilled onions with plantains well done, yellow rice, and black beans. They have lost their mind with how much they have raised their prices!! It is insane! We used to get it a couple times a week and now their prices are pretty much like going to a nice restaurant. The food is consistent, the portions are grand and the prices are affordable. This is my kind of place! The chicken is seasoned to perfection and so so juicy. Must be an overnight brine of some sort that keeps these birds so tender. I always opt for the 1/4 chicken with 2 sides. The fried yuca is sure to please and the salad with the white vinegar is just the right tartness to offset the saltiness of the chicken. I like to mix the avocado sauce with the white sauce. The avocado sauce has some slight heat to it while the white sauce has some tang. Dunk the yuca in these...dunk anything in them for that matter. You could dunk a flip flop in this sauce and it would be edible. I wish we had a La Granja in Jupiter! For now, Northlake will have to suffice! read more

The fish is grouper which is crispy crusted fried smothered in garlic sauce which has shrimp and scallops with it. A pretty solid lunch or dinner menu item. It's my favorite. I get very full from just the fish n scallop /shrimp alone without needing to eat much rice and beans even. I like how you're given a buzzer at this location and it beeps when the food is ready so you can go receive it instead of waiting to hear for your order #. I don't understand how they can have such a great selection of food but manage to screw up the same exact order twice and all I asked for was hot wings. The people that work there need to take a few English classes because their customer service sucks ass if place an order in English. Get it together. No need to answer phones in only Spanish and no need to put people on hold for 10 minutes or longer because you can't handle the mistakes you and your business have made.
