Our Peruvian neighbor recommended this restaurant. We had the Churrasco Al Chimichurri, Ceviche de Pescado , and a bowl of Chilcano. Everything was excellent. I've had ceviche quite a few times. I'm no expert on it but this is the best I've tasted. One thing I liked about their Ceviche is that I was able to get the hot stuff on the side. That way I could adjust the heat to my liking. Nice size portions and reasonably priced. Our server was friendly and super efficient. She took time to explain all the offerings in detail. The dining room is on the noisy side but tolerable. We almost got scared off by the outside because we were looking for a nice date night, I'm so glad we stayed! I really enjoyed this meal and had a great waiter who suggested a lot of good food for us! It kinda reminded me of a RA Sushi place, hip and good food with a higher price point. The mojito was freshly muddled and delicious. I enjoyed every dish. The lomo Saltillo had fries which I didn't care for and a bit too many onions for my liking as did the ceviche and I like a little more char on my churrasco but the steak was like butter. You will find excellent Peruvian food tucked away in this unassuming strip mall, so don't judge a book by it's cover. The interior is spacious, and easily accommodated a large party of 10 with plenty of room to maintain social distancing between tables. The waitstaff seemed attentive, although I had little direct interaction with them, and there were no hiccups with any of our orders or with the bill. This was my first time trying Anticuchos, and I absolutely loved it!! The meat was so tender and juicy, with no hint of any taste that sometimes accompanies eating offal dishes. It was probably my favorite dish of the entire meal, even after I found out it was veal heart, haha. The causa trio was yummy, the ceviche was delicious- I would recommend the mixto over others. Portions were generous and shareable, and the price point was reasonable. I wasn't expecting to eat great sushi here, but this restaurant seems to prepare all their dishes well, so you really can't go wrong. Overall a great meal with even better company. I love this restaurant and all the food. I have not found one bad dish. I traditionally order the Arrisotado De Mariscoc. It is definitely a winner and I keep coming back for it. Today, was the first time I tired their happy hour. I ate the shrimp tempura sushi roll right before I took a picture but it was very fresh and super yummy. The spicy mayo was a nice finishing touch. However, for happy hour you only receive half a roll (five pieces) for $6.50. Also, I ordered calamari and teriyaki ribs and fries. The calamari seemed to be the best bang for the buck!! The jalapeño dipping sauce was original and a perfect complement to the calamari. The teriyaki ribs were tender and the fries covered in the teriyaki sauce was pleasantly original. However, I still prefer BBQ ribs. I will contribute to come and enjoy this restaurant! read more

This review is for HAPPY HOUR I came into Ceviche Arigato around 430pm on a weekday. It was completely empty and we were the only people there. It's a large restaurant in a fairly dark space. We sat at a table as happy hour is served anywhere (not just at the bar). They have both food and drink specials. - The ceviche is what this place is known for, and it's good. The $6 happy hour special had two options for ceviche and I had the 'standard' fish. It was more plentiful than I expected it to be (i.e. a larger serving than expected). - The sushi rolls are both mediocre and not good value. I'm not sure why they're so expensive on the menu, but for $6 a roll for 4 pieces of small sushi each, it's kind of a hard stretch to order 3 rolls and be hungry after. The staff is friendly. The rest of the menu is terribly expensive (NOTE: I used to live in NYC and SF, I don't mind paying *very* high prices ... but for very good food). 3 stars is OK! And it was! The location was suspect but with the reviews..needed to see for myself. We were warmly greeted upon entering and the ambiance was pleasing, our eyes glued to one of the biggest tv screens ever. The service was good, they had enough servers for the tables there. We were given menus but we particularly came for the happy hour. I took a peek at the regular menu and saw that a sushi roll started at $17...so back to happy hour menus. We ordered 7 items @ 8.50/ which after ordering, i mentioned to my wife that i had ordered too much food for the 3 of us...she quickly replied, not to worry, as she needed lunch for monday...the food came, 5 rolls, 1 cerviche and 1 starter( more than enough you'd think) for wife, daughter and myself, average size people. What a joke, happy hour at half the price...yeah, means half the serving...five of the smallest pieces of sushi imaginable per serving and pieces of fish and corn(cerviche) to fit in a shot glass. We ended up ordering another 2 servings of sushi because my daughter was still hungry. The food was tasty..yes..but i felt cheated on the serving size. Really dont mind paying $25 per( before tip), going out, but i really dont expect to leave hungry doing so. read more

Ceviche Arigato is a play on words since Peruvian have Japanese ties. You will find not only Peruvian staples but a fusion of both cultures. I would recommend the Ceviche and the Arroz Chaufa (Fried Rice), you won't find this quality of food anywhere else in the area. Ceviche Arigato also has a great selection of sushi. If you're not into seafood they have other great dishes. I would recommend the Lomo Saltado, it's one of the best I've ever had. I love the staff and the atmosphere here, it always brings me back!! This place is awesome! Great prices and great food. We were skeptical because of the strip mall location but don't let it deter you. The portions are fairly large and definitely justify the cost.
