Just your average coffee shop. Definitely over priced and nothing exciting on the menu but the coffee was good and served its purpose.

One star for the decor and renovation of the store. Zero stars for the coffee. Went in all excited that there was a new coffee shop on greenwich ave and ordered cappuccino's. left with what you would call warm milk. If I wanted hot milk I would go home and heat up a baby bottle. If you can't get a buzz from some good espresso then don't bother. Yuck. read more

The only things I don't like about this shop are the service and the fact that they're always so busy. I really like the hot chocolate here and their pastries, but I recently got a caprese sandwich that was excellent, but it came almost 25 minutes after I ordered it because they had forgotten my order or had left my food sitting out. read more

hands down the strongest coffee in town. Don't even bother going anywhere else is you are a coffee snob. This place is comparable to Blue Bottle or Toby's Estate but instead of a hipster crowd you have a working professionals and the housewives. Great Cafe, plenty of seating inside love the large coffee grinder in the front where they grind their own coffee. The music is low key and calming, not crazy loud. There is coffee chart with pictures of each coffee type and pricing clearly displayed behind the counter. The temperature inside was just right not freezing cold, like Starbucks that is down the block. I ordered the Cappuccino that was delicious and a sandwich: Prosciutto, cheese, sun dried tomatoes on Ciabatta Bread that was grilled, this was also yummy :-) FORGET about going to STARBUCKS! Driving from NYC to Boston I couldn't bring myself to do the Starbucks or Dunkin highway rest stop. This place was totally worth the five minute detour from 95 - one of the better dirty chai latte's I've ever had. A little bit sweeter but in a great way. I walked in and was impressed by the aesthetics of the establishment. There was plenty of space to sit and read. The woman did not know what she was talking about, but the roaster overheard and gave me a great perspective of his coffee. The coffee was set up in barrels... something you would see in a grocery store. The ice coffee was a little weak in flavor for me. Regardless, he was friendly and gave me a free sample of his Ethiopian beans in a cute little plastic bag to take home. The bag of beans had no name and no roast date. read more

One of my favorite spots in Greenwich - amazing coffee (the house roast is fantastic), yummy treats and a great vibe. The staff is friendly and speedy. I also used to dock up here to work from my laptop and no one ever had a problem with extended stays, plus they offer free refills if you get a cup of coffee to stay. Coffee is good but unfortunately the service is terrible. I waited in line for ten minutes with the staff completely ignoring me. I eventually got their attention and they barked at me that I was on the wrong end of the line. Why wait to tell me that?! Had to go to the end of the line, eventually a woman served me. I asked for an iced latte to stay and she told me she would have to serve it in a plastic cup. I said that's fine and wait for coffee. Next customer then orders the same thing and they both come out at the same time. Hers in a beautiful glass, mine in a plastic cup. Great coffee! I've had a cappuccino and a cold brew from here and both have been great. They also have various pastries that you can have with your coffee. I tried a peanut butter crumb cake and it tasted pretty good. I definitely recommend stopping by! read more

I saw this place just the other day on my way to the office. This is my new spot to get coffee in the morning. There are no long lines like the competitors and the coffee is great. They roast their own beans right in the front of the store as you are walking in. The cheese danish is light and fluffy. They play relaxing music, and best of all it is not a chain store. The staff is super friendly and they bring my coffee over to my table when it is ready. This is just the type of place Greenwich needs for someone looking to relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee in the morning. read more

This is a great place for specialty coffee. A bit overpriced, but at least you can tell the difference! I also like their chai tea latte, pretty yummy. The people working there are pretty friendly, remember who you and make conversation with the customers but without being too overfamiliar or weird about it. Hands down the best coffee/cafe experience in Greenwich and possibly Fairfield/Westchester county. I was a long time Starbucks regular but wanted a more sophisticated experience and high-end product, which brought me to CFCF. If it's your first time visiting I highly recommend the Venice espresso in any drink you pick; it's smooth, rich with low acidity. If you have a sweet tooth, I'd highly recommend the oatmeal raisin cookie or almond croissant. On the healthier side, I love their Paleo muffins. Lastly, the staff, hands down the friendliest group serving coffee I've ever dealt with. read more

I stopped in there for the first time the other day. I am a regular at SBux. The coffee was amazing and it did not have that over powering burnt taste I usually experience at SBux. I loved that it was roasted on the premises, that is something I have not seen before in this area. I enjoyed the music and the overall ambiance of the place. The pastries were amazing, I tried an almond crossant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only down side to the place was that I could not get a connection to their internet working. I asked for a "small" coffee, the lady behind the counter thought she heard "tall", to which she smirked, paused, and in a condescending tone said "no Starbucks lingo here." I've only ever had the tea and sandwiches here and they're ok, the sandwiches are good however the service as mentioned is not very good at all. Every single time I've been here there's been something wrong with my order. First they burned my croissant, I ordered an iced tea they made it hot, then I got iced tea and all the ice was melted and my drink was warm, it took half an hour for my sandwich and I was late to work, I asked for a toasted bagel and they didn't toast it, I asked for an iced tea and the girl didn't know how to do that so I just got a coffee. I know these are just little things but it starts to get annoying when it's every single time. Train your employees please!!! read more

awesome decor awesome coffee but lacks ambience and the feel of what a coffee shop is supposed to feel like. people come to places like these to escape work, relax and enjoy a nice cup of coffee while they chat with their friends but the staff is always working with their head down almost if they're afraid of getting fired and the owner walks stiffly with out acknoweldgement of his staff or his regular customers that support his business everyday. there was couple people that stood out from the bunch one was a girl who always greeted me and smiled and was happy to go to work everyday but now she's no longer there.. and its safe to assume she was fired because there's alway new staff. which leads to terrible service since there's constantly new untrained people read more

I was introduced to locally roasted coffee when I lived in Montreal for a couple of years and I loved it. A couple of days ago, I noticed this place at the top of Greenwich Avenue that labeled itself as a coffee "roastery". So I went there today and got a half pound of their dark roast and it's awesome. If you like really good coffee and find that you can never get the same flavor at home as what you get at good coffee shops, give this a try. Also, my personal recommendation, if you have them grind it in the shop, always ask for a fine espresso grind. Even if you plan on using a drip brewer. The finer grind really brings out the flavor. read more
