Came here for coffee and something sweet for a late breakfast. When I saw there was Nutella croissants on the shelves, I lost it. As if that wasn't enough, when I was ordering and got overwhelmed with so many delicious choices, I saw they also have Nutella latte. This coffee shop speaks to my HEART. They're all about creativity through caffeine but just creativity all in general. Yes, expect to pay higher prices but it's ok, it's time to treat yourself and order what you want. I ended up going for one of their specials: a pistachio cortado of some sort. It was delicious but I do wish the pistachio and coffee was more evident. I'm told that I can buy one cup of coffee and sit for 4 hours and read a book, I can sit for 4 hours and watch YouTube on my phone or iPad, or I can basically do all manner of reclusive things sitting by myself - but I am not allowed to sit and spend an hour or two writing on my laptop. Only the laptop is anti social, apparently. On days that I work from home, I like to get out of the house for a bit in the morning, enjoy a wonderful Kyoto cold brew and a coffee cake or Cinnamuff, and maybe get a second bite a bit later. And yes, get a bit of work done :) There are plenty of places in the area to go sit for hours and hours of work, so that is never my intent here, but to flat out ban laptops at all hours no matter how empty the store sure seems silly to me. I don't need to spend $15 to take my coffee back home. (I did once try emailing the owner to have a productive discussion on this but was ignored.)
