They provided a fair estimate that was appropriate for the job. Their communications with me were great from start to finish. The did an excellent job on the repair. The repair was done as requested with the area now patched, taped, mudded and sanded and fully paintable (will be done by me). They took extra time to make 100% sure that the repair was perfect. I refused as they already had over $$6000.00 when they walked off the job. They are thieves. I won a judgement for over 11,000 in Carrol County Small Claims Court, yet to collect. They give you a good quote, collect half or more up front, leave the job, and try to extort more money. They are UNPROFESSIONAL, CON ARTISTS AND THIEVES. June of 2019 a man contacted me after doing business with them he looked up reviews. He saw mine He said they stole his money too. They collected money up front worked 1/2 day of a 3-4 day job, asked for the balance money which he gave them. They walked off the job. When he contacted them they asked for more money and then they would return to work. He told me Felton threatened and tried to intimidate him. We are currently trying to get Douglas Police/Procesutor and Villa Rica to do something about the con Duo. Felton J Traylor and Takeelah Traylor. Felton has his wife Takeelah do most of the talking and giving you a story of how Christian they are and fell on hard times, etc. He is the mastermind, and she carries out the con. Don't be fooled.

I've had bad experiences where companies who Market themselves as being professional come and do a sloppy job and charge you a lot of money. J&T painting was not only very affordable but also very professional and have done a great and excellent job of painting my children's bed rooms. This husband-and-wife team is not only exceptional but they take pride and what they do and although I don't usually give reviews I had to do it in this case because it was warranted. I've used some of the bigger painters in town and I had been wanting to try a smaller business and I figured I'd give these guys a shot for our kitchen cabinets. They seemed like a good option for a bit more affordability, so I figured I'd try them. You get what you pay for. What a mistake. This is the experience I had. We started out totally normal. Their crew of two guys came out on the first day to tape everything off in the kitchen. Totally fine. Only one guy comes the next day so the other can get a deck done on another house. I guess that's how they can keep prices lower. There's a few different things that happened at this phase and we gave them a lot of grace throughout all of it, but the short version is the crew was not up to the task of properly painting cabinets. I did find out later from the owner that he's worked with this guy before for many outdoor jobs and for whatever reason he just expected him to be able to do cabinet work, so that tells you a lot. This was really frustrating and a waste of 2 days of work, but this was clearly just a contractor who didn't know how to paint cabinets. As long as they brought out their A-Team to fix this up, it would've been fine. Their A-Team was able to come out two days later and I did a walk-through with them in the morning. This seemed more like what I was used to and they seemed like a solid crew. I went on a walk and come home to find out that the owner had called them and said that he would not pay the agreed-upon rate and that the crew is leaving. A completely understandable reaction. It took the owner 40 minutes to reach out to me and try and figure out next steps. I was immediately told multiple times that this is a listen conversation, not a talk conversation, which quickly devolved into him saying how much of a champion he's been throughout the entire process and complaining about the labor pool he has to work with. What an absolute mess of a week and headache overall. Don't take the risk with these guys. Use another vendor.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
