I wager a reseller could have negotiated to buy the remaining inventory for even less to make a profit. Parking at the Grove and Farmer's Market is horrendous to the degree that their policy, validation and rates they charge customers to shop there is very counterintuitive to supporting their retailers to generate foot traffic and business. I wonder if the shopping center's mismanagement was cause of the Backcountry downfall to close this store and liquidate inventory and sell fixtures. The shopping center's parking system is disingenuous to supporting retailers and customers. You park, you eat, you shop and buy, hang out for maybe 2-3 hours, spend money and even with a merchant parking validation you pay $17 to park and support the center's businesses.

I have brought them out early with the Northern Nevada cols temperatures and am grateful that they keep me warm and toasty. My recent purchase was for my son and his partner for their Christmas present and I know they are eyeballing ski bags for an upcoming trip. Very easy purchase online and they do have quality goods.

When I arrived, I was told they no longer provide alteration services. It would have been really helpful if this had been updated online beforehand since it would have saved me the trip. The staff was polite and the store itself seemed nice, but the main reason for my visit couldn't be fulfilled. Hopefully the information gets updated so others don't make the same trip unnecessarily.

Patagonia, never have a problem like this. They take it back on the spot and give you a brand new one. The north face, give it back to me and let me help you out and get you a new one. You dumb dumbs, you have your thumbs up your asses and have no idea what to do with a broken zipper at the store on La Brea. Yes, I went into the store myself to try and sort this out only to be met with sales staff had no clue how to handle a broken zipper on a jacket. I'll tell you how you handle it, you fix it on your dime where you replace it on the spot. He don't send a customer away with a broken zipper. That was the last opportunity you'll ever have to send us away. This review will probably remind other people just to shop at Patagonia.

(He was wearing shorts which weren't allowed.) I remember this place being here awhile back - like waaaayyy back (I used to buy my swim gear here back in my high school days) so I took a peek from the 5th floor window and BOOM! There this place is! So I bounced out and ran quickly across the street. I was greeted immediately and I might have been a bit rude because I don't remember acknowledging them and immediately asked, "Where are your men's pants?" They were more than happy to point me to the right direction. Found what I needed, rushed back to the cashier and was asked, "Were you able to find what you needed?" Smiled and pointed at the pants. Then! As she rang up my item, she asked, "Did you just come from the consulate across the street?" Tooooo funny!!! So I guess it happens a lot!!! We both thought that was funny. Found what I needed, staff were great = great return visit, albeit decades later. The space has reduced in size, but hey. Glad they're still hangin' on.

It's not pretty, parking isn't terribly convenient, and it's in a semi-depressed part of Wilshire, but it does all the things you'd store is supposed to do and it's priced competitively with similar stores.
