For the past three years, my neighbor, who I have a great deal of respect for, has used C Green Landscape for his landscape projects and his weekly yard clean ups. For the past three years I have explained to the clean up service crew that I do not want the neighbor's leaves and debris, which come from the neighbor's trees, to be blown into my yard each week. In addition to that rude behavior, on the West side of my neighbor's house, the 2 foot space between my property and his brick house, is left unmoved and unedged and uncleaned for three years of their service. The neighbor never looks at this area and the yard men with C Green know this and take advantage. They do not mow, edge, clean at any time for over three years. I hire. my own crew to take care of the yard so that the grass will not go over four feet and promote a code compliance issue. Today was no exception. The crew were at the property of my neighbor around 11:00 A.M. and began moving the wet leaves from his front yard to my driveway and to my front yard. I requested to speak with him and he ignored me deliberately. He blew leaves in my face and told me the if I did not like what he was doing, to call the police and tell them. He was rude and would not listen to the information about the neighbor's West side that he was not attending to for three years. They got into the truck and drove away. I called the company two times and left messages for a return phone call and no return phone call was made to me for hours. These phones call were made on my cell phone and after a few hours I called from my house phone. They did answer the phone and were extremely rude and I mentioned that I had made a review on their website and with the BBB and now on Yelp. She hung up the phone on me. Years ago, I used this company myself. I had a front yard sprinkler head issue. I had the representative in the front yard and I was pointing to the sprinkler head when he suddenly slapped my hand down and told me to be quiet that I was stupid. This is when I terminated my arrangement with C Green. Do not use this company if you do not want trouble and harassment and same for your neighbors. They are rude and they are expensive read more

Just to add to my previous review. We discovered that CGreens put NO WEED BARRIER in the beds or around the tree. Our backyard landscaper put the barrier down in the beds and gave us barrier to redo around the tree. They will also block you from FB if you are unhappy. WORST company we have ever used. read more

Cgreens installed a drainage system in my front yard. Reasonably priced, with great quality craftmanship. I was especially happy that they put my yard back as close as possible to the way it was. Can't vouch on anything but drainage, but would definitely hire them again to do any kind of landscaping. As a side note they are very popular, so you might have to wait a month or two for them to come out if you are planning on a big project like mine. Communication was also kind of spotty, but ultimately was definitely worth the wait. read more

CGreen installed an entire irrigation system in 1997 and we had an excellent experience. We called them back this week, after moving to a new house, and had them inspect the entire system, repair some line leaks and install bubblers in new planters. After I wrote a similar review on Facebook expressing my concerns that CGreen showed up at my house unannounced, they commented on my review in retaliation saying I was "confused," and posted the PERSONAL INFORMATION that I provided them in my original request for information, including my home address, personal email, phone number, and full name. Not only is this extremely unprofessional and immature but also unethical. They refused to remove the comment with my information so I was forced to delete my entire review so that my information wasn't on Facebook for the world to see. Further, in their comment they claim I scheduled an appointment, but I would have never scheduled an appointment for a random Friday afternoon, and my original request doesn't even include a request for an on-site visit, just for more information. There was no way Robert could have "called on his way and reached the husband," because 1. he was never given my husband's number and 2. my husband says he never talked to anyone before answering the door. It's fine if there was a misunderstanding, but the fact that they then posted my personal information after I made a negative review took things way too far. I wish to never again be contacted by a representative of CGreen or in any way be harassed by them further, on social media or otherwise. read more

A rep repaired damage on my sprinkler system ( I am a long time customer) due to the very cold weather and did an excellent job. However he reset the automatic timer in an attempt to show me how it can be programed and made a mistake on the day and times for it to go off. I called the office and have been told it will be over two weeks to correct this timer mistake which will not take over 10 minutes to resolve. Realize they are busy but I explained that since it was their mistake I should not have to wait and it really is a timer programming mistake. Result----no change in their position and will be over two weeks. Strongly recommend not just making an assumption it is correct (my mistake) but test it out when it is time for your watering day. Mistakes happen---but they should be prepared to fix them ASAP and it really will not take over 10 minutes for them to reprogram it read more

I would not use this company at all. My husband and I wanted major landscaping work to our property. When I called to make an appointment I was told by the woman that Chuck would call and confirm that this time would work for him. I never heard back from anyone. Then 5 days later he shows up and said we had an appointment. I told him no we didn't but since he was there he could take all the info so that he would give me a quote. Fast forward 8 days and no quote and no communication. We have retained another company to do the work. You would think someone would want a 15k job, but evidently this company doesn't care whether it works or not. I don't plan on begging someone by calling and asking "where is the quote". If this is how they handle the quote process, I certainly don't want to experience their work ethic once they have my money. read more

CGreens came out to correct a drainage issue on the side yard - complete mud as a result of the recent rains and no grass. They installed a drain out to the street and laid down decomposed granite. The yard is now beautiful and mud free. The work crews were friendly and courteous. I highly recommend! read more

I am going to be as honest as possible and give both experiences. The latest was a fiasco: My second experience - Two months ago I contacted this provider as we were putting our house on the market and wanted to have it ready to sell, the provider emailed a contractor to sign prior to work being performed. I never signed contract as advised by realtor. Never heard anything from them, roughly six weeks later, we wake up and look outside and three men were out in the yard installing the sprinkler system and attaching drip lines, at this point they were half-way done with the service and asked if I wanted them to stop and I said no and just let them finish the job. I contacted Chuck Green to straighten things out and do what was best for both of us since I never signed a contract or requested this work. Chuck then sent me a $900 invoice and then later sent a rude email stating "I believe what we agreed on and invoiced to be completely fair and agreeable" I felt that the email was extremely rude and condesending to me. As I am selling my home I had decided to just pay for the service to prevent the provider from placing a lean on our home and gumming up the plan to put it on the market. The work done was good, but the service, embarrassing. My first review - C. Green is finishing my yard as I type and have been nothing but great. The three men that are completing my sprinkler installation are extremely knowledgeable, courteous and clean. I had a subterranean drip system installed in the front yard and a standard system in the back, and then sod installed in the front. Through the whole process Chuck was up front, honest and communicated the plan. Great team, do not hesitate to use them. read more

I contacted CGreens to fix a drainage problem on the front of the house. Mr. Green provided me with a quote and after agreeing for the services, his men did the service on a scheduled date. His two employees were outstanding. They provided answers to the questions I had. Both men worked hard as their was a lot of rock on the area they needed to dig for the basins needed. Had them install sprinklers in our front flower bed. $1900 job. They worked hard all day and were in a hurry to go at the end of the day. We discovered the next day that the work in the flower bed had damaged our drip lines which we use daily. Called the day after the work was completed to report the drip line damage. They sent someone out and repaired the damage. Then we received a bill for $121.80 for the work. I called to explain that it was to repair damage they had done, not new work that I needed done. No matter. They said it was invoiced as new work and that is the way it would remain. A shame. Now we need to find a new sprinkler company. read more

I called to get my sprinkler system fixed as it became nonfunctional probably from age or old wiring. Franscisco came out as scheduled in after a week's time, fixed it, checked it and all is well. He did not give me a quote before the job and the bill did not itemize so I felt like the bill was a little high, but it works well and I sense that they will make good on their work should anything goes wrong. read more

She looked like she was completely oblivious to what had just transpired. I stared her down as I passed by her and she didn't even look at me. I looked at all the reviews before contacting CGreen Landscaping as my former landscaping company got purchased by CGreen. It took me 1 1/2 months to get Chuck out to see our property to get his feedback on our Landscaping opportunity and I was ok with the wait. He was very knowledgeable and noted that he would get me a quote within 4 days and I told him that one week would be ok. 2 weeks later, I followed up to get a status on the proposal. I was emailed that it would be 1 more week and if that was ok. I said fine and unfortunately followed up again after 1 1/2 weeks and was told "he hasn't gotten with you?"...I will text him and you should hear back shortly. That was 1 1/2 weeks ago and I have heard nothing. This is for a proposal that could easily be over $10K and regular ongoing work. As you can see by my numerous reviews, I normally give very high scores but I learned my lesson and will not follow up again with him or his company. read more

I contacted CGreen for a drainage job at my house. They were very backed up with their workload and it took them 6-8 weeks to do the job, but I was pleased with their solution and the drainage work was done well. While I was working with them on the drainage, I also contacted them about landscaping. The good news is that they said they could do the landscaping as soon as the drainage was done, while they were already there. The bad news is that delays occurred, partially because of weather, but also because of people calling in sick, other jobs bumped me, etc. The 3-day landscaping job took them a week and a half before it was all said and done. They skimped on the rock and mulch, had to have them come back and add more. They missed an obvious spot of mulch, and didn't bother to weed the area before putting mulch down, contrary to what the designer said they would do. They found a sprinkler zone not working and insisted it get fixed before they plant anything in that area, and ended up charging me $240 for the repair. On both the drainage and landscaping jobs, they were pushing me for immediate payment the day the job was "done" (see above). I exchange some pretty crappy emails with Chad who took a highly defensive approach with the sprinkler issue. I didn't appreciate the emails about payment when it had been one full business day since they completed it and I could verify it was done. And yes, they were paid within 2 days of that. All in all, I was pleased with the drainage, unhappy with the experience of the landscaping, and would only recommend them for drainage work if you have patience to deal with their schedule and plan to stay on top of their work. Don't pay them until everything is 100% totally done. read more

How should I start? Working with CGreen has been a disappointment from day one. My mother was referred to one of their sales people to provide an estimate on fixing her sprinkler system. She live less than an half mile from me in the same neighborhood so since my system had sprung a leak, under a tree nonetheless, I asked that if he had time could he please take a look and give me a quote. He agreed and gave me a quote of about $200 dollars. I figured with digging in roots and all that it might take a little more time (money) and i did not have time or want to dig in the roots so I asked him to please have it scheduled for as soon as possible since I could see my water bill increasing by the hour. He said he would tell his dispatch and they would tell me when they could be there. After a week of not hearing anything I called him back and asked about when they would be coming out, he said he didn't know and would call dispatch to see when it was scheduled and get back to me within the day. That was the last I ever heard from Mark! So I called the main office myself, they had no record of Mark even requesting my work to be done. I guess that should have been a huge red flag. So Amanda was nice enough to put me on the schedule for the following week. Now Mark had quoted me a $82.00 hourly charge plus parts so I was expecting that however the first person to come out looked at the wet spot and proceeded to refuse to dig up the pipe to determine where the leak was, instead he proceed to take two and a half hours to change a part that did not need to be changed. FYI, this part costs no more than $20 (most less than $12) and I was charged $82.00 for the part plus charged for 2.5 hours of labor, not sure what he did here, at $87.00. I was told to turn off my system until the location dries and then turn it back on to see if it clears up the issue. I knew it would not, told the tech as much but he insisted it would work, anyway called the office (Amanda) to complain that afternoon after feeling like I had just been ----- ( i'll let you fill that in since I dont want to offend anyone, but it was not a good feeling). So Amanda assured me that they guarantee their work for 90 days and would fix it at only the cost of parts if it was still not fixed. So two weeks later I call because it is still leaking, Surprise!, and they schedule for another week out. I am then told, oh no only the first hour of labor is covered. Now mind you my main gripe the first go around was there was no way it should have taken the tech 2.5 hours to do what he did. I work on my system most of the time but I currently did not have the time due to work load to do this work. So she sends their best tech, Sergio, out. I admit Sergio was very good at his job. He knew where to start digging and did a very good job. Now here is where it gets good. So Sergio fixes and leaves, no invoice in hand at the time, said he will talk to Amanda to see about cutting me a break since they had my entire front yard dug up. So today I get the invoice. whopping $678 (remember I already paid $300 for the first worthless tech) . There is a nice note on the invoice saying they credited me for the first hour of labor due to the previous visit. What they failed to tell me was that they were now charging me $120.00 an hour for labor! then another $105 for parts that at your most expensive hardware store wouldn't cost $20. This is outrageous. They are wanting $1000 for something that should have cost me maybe $400 in the first place. Run from this company. They pad their invoices and are not upfront on costs. read more
